It’s 2 hard 4 me as well, like wtf is velocity
bad teacher? i was shit at math at the start of high school but actually got decent at the end because we got a new teacher that was better at explaining so maybe its the same with your physics teacher
Try finding a different teacher. Maybe some private lessons. Maybe a different point of view will match with your style.
???????????????????????? physics = math
The only limit, is the one you set yourself
Cuz you have to understand it. You can not just learn the theorie.
Because you have innate talent for clear cut things like math, while having trouble putting together abstract concepts like physics, that involves more conceptual thinking? Regardless unless you have some low level of IQ this is your lazyness speaking to ask about it on hltv instead of studying the exact problems you're not understanding. If other people can figure out physics then so can you, unless you're mentally impaired.
i studied physics at college. got A* and A in a-level maths and further maths, but got D in Physics. It's hard as fuck especially when i knew i was only going to study mechanics and forces etc when i left. Still, i got into uni and study mechanical engineering now, which is much better
If you're good at math but can't grasp concepts in physics the problem is with your teacher or learning method, not you.
theres a reason physicists on average have a higher iq then mathmaticians!
(its only about 5 points tho, so not even a standard deviation)
because in physics u have to understand what you are calculating, if you dont understand whats happening in the task you are lost.A sketch can help alot ...
physics is just the application of math to patterns and regularities in nature. if you're good at math, then school level physics is easy, just memorize the formulas.
btw, being able to add, substract, multiply and divide is not 'being good at math', if that's what you're thinking. it's about knowing which formula to use and how to manipulate it to get to a desired variable, the actual numbers you put in at the end are irrelevant. if you can do that, then you can do physics aswell.
First of all, you need to get rid of your prejudice. Physics is the math of the nature. So if you can do math you can do physics as well. You said math is easy if you are smart and WILLING to learn, it is the same with physics. You just need to learn the I like to call it the "concept" or the "culture" of Physics. In physics you experiment and observe the subject, then you interpret the datas to a mathematical equation, then you symbolize the units to make it easier to solve the equation with. For example the Newton's laws of motion:
J. Kepler, Galileo Galilei and Newton all contributed to this law. They observed the motions of the planets and the gravity and while so they've found out that the gravity (which is a force) were affecting the acceleration of the objects and the mass of the objects were proportional with the force.
This is the equation:
So what is this?
F is for Force, m is for mass, a is for acceleration (acceleration is the change of velocity)
Force's unit is Newton (N which is kg.m/s²), mass's unit is kilogram (kg), acceleration's unit is meter/second² (m/s²)
This means a force acting on an object equals to it's acceleration times it's mass. If there is no force acting on the object then his velocity won't change (it's acceleration equals to 0)
Let's solve an example to understand it better:
A car accelerating at 2m/s² with 4N of force. What is the mass of the car?
If we write the equation
F=m.a --> 4N=x(mass).2m/s²
Let's just write the symbols instead of units so it's less complicated
4F=x.2a --> 4F/2a=x x=2 so the mass of the car is 2kg
There you go, an subject of physics is done. It is this simple.
I literally have the same fucking problem
I am the best in math really good at english but physics is as God shit in my brain
Btw the best tip i can give you is to think. In high school physics before doing anything with the problem you have you should just think what you will get (i mean a force or whatever it is) and then do the maths . I know it sounds stupid now but it really helps.
Got physics last year. Was pretty good at it, ended the year with an A.
Not sure, about the German education system, ours is fucked(wateva). But for physics I'm also really not the best,I found out that you need to be interested in the case of "physics" or else it may not work ;/. I'm interested in hardware and when it came to talk about these sorts of physics, like heat description and electricity I was rocking it,for most other stuff tho - meh not good,it's just the fact that maths and physics are connected, but also involve different things
physics shit, math as well
Simplicity is key in physics . You gotta find a way to understand yourself. No one can really learn Physics like a robot. INTUITION!
physics easier than math lol
You can just drill Math. But you have to drill and actually understand what number means what for the system you are looking at ... and all this right from sir Isaac Newton to Metric tensor of GR. Physics is fun, but you have to have rock solid foundations for any layer you are to about to get in to. That's the difference.
why am i so bad at everything?
Maybe you are not good enaught at math ?
your brain is wired wrong
because ur dumb
math and english is linear
physics requires depth thinking and layered thinking also visualizing, adapting and understanding while translating it to real and easy meaning
me too but I am _smarted_ than 99% of the class (check my flag).
