You replied that we already had 3 majors in a year. Yes - in a 2 companies format which were hosting majors in 2014 and 2015.
I don't know if you can't count or you can't think logically. I will try to explain as fucking easy as it can be.
Year 2014~2015, you have TWO companies who can run a major. ESL and DreamHack.
Company A - ESL
Company B - DreamHack
How many majors a year? THREE. If you have TWO companies A & B and Valve tells you "we will have THREE majors in this year" it means ESL or DH will host TWO majors in one year. Legit and fair BUT there comes 2016... Now you don't have only ESL and DreamHack. Now you have also PGL, Epicenter, Faceit, Starseries, ELEAGUE, ESL, DreamHack and lower but rising up tournament organiser like Blast. Multiple choices. BUT that's not over. From now on(2016) Valve will sponsor only TWO ( NOT THREE ) tournaments. What does that mean for a tournament organiser? If you will get a major, it's VERY unlikely(from theory possible) to host another one in the same year. Why? Because other companies evolved and now they have opportunity to host a major aswell.
That's why your agrument 'already happend' is weak, because in 2014 and in 2015 there was no other option. Don't compare two different eras.
