First of, i thought you said the "great country" implying the best country in the world, i was told wrong. I never named a country the best in the world. although i certainly think you can, if the country has all the right characteristics to become one and a somehow unbiased report of it. And finally, Sweden and Germany are the only countries who really opened up their borders fully. Norway having opened up to around 112,000 immigrants from the middle east. Sweden having opened up to around 1,150,000 immigrants from the middle east, 16% of their entire population. Furthermore, Germany opened up to around 2.3 million immigrants from the middle east.
Now to crime rates. Norway had a total of 29 murders last year, along with 0.56 crime*s* per 100,000 citizens. Germany with 0.8 crime*s* per 100,000. And lastly Sweden with 1,500,00 crimes committed last year. These are all moderate crime rates compared to Norway's low crime rate.
So i don't see your point about "high rates of crime".
