Czech event

There wasn't a single international tournament in the Czech Republic if I'm not mistaken. It would be a nice refreshment if we would have a tournament here. It's in the central Europe, so a lot of people can travel here easily. -1 welcome

Not gonna happen. Why? ... A) There is no ESL in CZSK to make a tournament (every ESL CZSK activity is under ESL Polska, cause we don´t have a licence) B) There is no CZ team in the pro csgo (just oscar) C) There is no event that big, that would host a tournament alongside D) It is an unproven fan territory - It´s a risk to place a tournament in here => Only think I can imagine is something like 100 000$ event in Prague or Brno on some expo. or a V4 tournament

A) Why it has to be ESL? B) Romania hosted a major without pro team nor tier 1/2 player. C) I dont understand C D)Its basically every new country to host a e-sports tournament. I can imagine attendence from Poland, Slovakia or Germany so it could be doable.

Cause Faceit = London/America, Starladder = Ukraine, Epicenter = Moscow, Eleague = US, .... So you got ESL, PGL, Dreamhack (=ESL), maybe BLAST ESL has Katowice and Cologne = no point of doing it in CZ PGL might be doing something here, but I don´t really remember any PGL big event outside major Dreamhack... yeah, that might be that 100 000$ tournament BLAST ... all right - that is the only hope for a "big" event - They might be targeting big cities - so Prague might be a possibility Everything I wrote was arguments why organizations do not want to make a big tournament in CZ - but I´d like to be wrong ;)

and the event in C - something like Gamescom - big international event

There actually was an event in Prague in 2013 called Prague challenger if am not mistaken with few notable teams in attendance at that time like Na'Vi.

There was some Blizzard event, qualifier for Blizzcon in Prague I think. And attendance was weak AF. Not a good country for esports.
