So now you are wasting your time on hltv?
spend another 6k hours gaming then. it’ll cancel out and then you can learn quantum geodesic engineering
no you couldnt have cause you were too lazy, even if you would get the option to go back u would just say fuck it and play, noone is 100% efficient with time, you in most cases cant just learn and work, you still learned to think and coordinate hand+eye by playing and maybe gained some friends, learnt patience etc, dont be so pessimistic, think about the memories of playing
you wouldnt even be able to understand it. foreign languages? you can communicate in english
if you had fun playing for 6k hours then fuck it stop crying about shit
lets say 10€/h wage
Marry ur monitor i think 250 days are enough to prove for you that your true love is right infront of ur eyes
I agree, I enrolled IT and I regret it, I want to be a priest (need to move to gymnasium and then i can enroll faculty), spent sooo much time in front of the screen for nothing
Any advice from somene, pls I dont have much more time, what to do?
even with 12 000 hours you wouldn't manage to realize what quantum physics acually is
I spend that amount only on 1.6 when I had a cracked version. I played shit ton of games. Still I'm healthy af and I can do almost every sport except tennis and table tennis.
I wasted more on CS only if that makes you feel any better
Well I suggest that you learn quantic physics then you'll be able to be a two state individual and learn languages + cs at the same time
I could have learned quantom physics or foreign languages or worked, i instead chose to look at my computer screen, move my mouse and press on the keyboard. I regret it so much.
I probably have like 15k hours wasted but... maybe I can regret 100 or 200... other than that im fine
but you need entertainment in ur life. if you want to be productive all the time, why not just sleep 5h a day and spend 19h working? eat food fast, no breaks, nothing else, just work, eat and sleep
Buy pprivate cheat and become t1 player
No, you would've wasted it on something else. You can't work 100% of the time, everyone needs some time to rest and not do anything.
Obviously I cannot count the hours I spent with PC games, only take a wild guess, but I guess it's around 15k hours, I got around 4k hours on my Steam account since 2006, however I started playing with SP games back in 2000 or 2001 (can't tell for sure). I played much less back then, but like 1-2k hours from 2000 to 2005. Then in early 2005 I got my first internet (64kbps dial up) and I started with online games, W:ET mostly. I think I had more than 6k hours in ET, from 2005 to 2011. Also played COD for good 500 hours, OW 500 hours, WOW + Diablo 500 hours. QL before Steam like 1k hours and a few SP games and stuff* for 500 hours I think.
Sometimes I feel like that's a lot of time "wasted" in the past 18 years, but then I like to think the time I spend happily is not wasted at all. I rather regret the time I spent watching stupid videos on the web...
U can do whatever u want(legal) till 21.
to me time spent having fun isn't wasted, but you may as well go pro if u have 6k hours, go 8hrs a day grind play serious, learn about the game and social intelligence and all the other things there are to learn that could improve your game (psychology especially and sports science) and just become a csgod
rookie numbers, git gud n00b
how old are u?? ... Maybe u are just more mature now and ready for it.... I wasnt ready as young but i stilll do good... Don't worry just learn from your mistakes
It was not wasted man. I'm sure u enjoyed it. You cant have played that much withought enjoying.
did you at least became good at the game ?
You're just doing your hobby, nothing is wrong with that?
i have almost 10k in one game alone LUL
welcome back to gaming in a week, lol
I could now control media and brainwash you guys but instead I play cs fuck
i realised this shit right at 5k hrs and quit instantly to start learning photoshop editing and stuff
me too, i regret so much, all people i know always doing cool stuff and me playing a game, sad if you stop to think.
45,000£ you coulda made (on minimum wage)
i wasted like 10.000hrs on CS starting november 2000 with 1.0 version to 1.6
in cs:go i have only 1400hrs since december 2013
12k hours and keeping playing
I dont think spend 6k hours to something that i fucking enjoy considered as wasted time. At least i got fun rather study all day with too much stress
time wasted doing sth that makes you happy is not time wasted
one year and four months 1800h
yea but how fun is learning shit?
you are crying over wasted time on fkin hltv. if u regret it so much destroy ur pc and do something with ur life but god stop crying
I did 4.5k h in 2.5 years and now i'm free.
only 100h since 2012.
"time that you enjoy wasting is not wasted"
reminds me of that stupid "story" or whatever u can call it.
Lady: Do you smoke?
Guy: Yes I do.
Lady: How many packs a day?
Guy: 3 packs.
Lady: How much per pack?
Guy: $10.00 per pack.
Lady: And how long have you been smoking?
Guy: 15 years
Lady: So 1 pack is $10.00 and you have been smoking 3 packs a day which puts your spending per month at $900. In 1 year, it would have been $10,800. Correct?
Lady: If 1 year you spend $10,800, not accounting for inflation, the past 15 years puts your spending total at $162,000. Correct?
Lady: Do you know if you hadn't smoke, that money could have been put in a step-up interest savings account and after accounting for compound interest for the past 15 years, you could have by now bought a Ferrari?
Guy: Oh. Do you smoke?
Guy: Then where's your fucking Ferrari?
I have over 4k in cs:go and altogether I must have spent 20k+ hours gaming (I'm 34 now). I also got a phd in theoretical physics, a good job, etc. I think everyone spends time on useless stuff, its normal, and its also common to regret it. But you can't live without it, so if you're worried about work performance, the real solution is to strive for a balance. Fact is, there's not enough hours in a day for working hard, socializing, and a 6h gaming session, so you have to prioritize. It definitely wasn't easy for me, for example I remember sometimes quitting for a while so I could study for exams. Nowadays so many other things automatically take my time, that really I couldn't play "too much" even if I wanted to. I don't regret the time spent gaming, and I still enjoy it.
Time wasted on whatever you enjoy is never wasted time!
2.5k since CSGO day 1 release. Played almost no other games. CS is my passion but kept a good balance with the rest of my life.
10k+ hours wasted on anime.
same but i wouldn't learned shit at 15 anyway.
3500 hours CSGO
atleast 2000 hours LoL
10000 hours Runescape
1500 hours Rocket league
1000+ hours other games.
I love life, atleast I used to but now I have job (
lul nearly 15k on gaming since 1996
i still think its ok...
go commit not living if you're regretting this
I have ~5000h and I just turned 16. Started 2013 trying to go professional. 8h a day Almost for about a year. I’ve always been hooked on This game and regret nothing :D
then you are not a gamer by heart, you could have done both, or better manage your day to day priorities/week 2 week priorities.
I played severl K's worth of hours in farious games and still manage to follow a respectable education in IT and get a good job. Why cant you? This smells of complaint this whole thread, now you blame it on gaming, no the blamed one should be you, and your poor descission making.
PS: when it comes to gaming, i regret NOTHING. Ever.
5300hrs csgo on main+ 1k on other accs
3500hrs cs 1.6 + like 500 on other acc
