it doesn't mather how good he is if he can't win a tournament it means something is wrong. also he chocked on major final so device is #1 2018
2018-09-30 14:12
ur stupid
2018-09-30 14:16
You have got solid argumentation skills. Except if you are older than 6,,then I would say you are lacking a bit.
2018-09-30 14:25
His point is that there can't be comparison between a player that is in the best team in the world and it's easier to win MVPs and this stuff with another player whose team lacks of being a team sometimes yet he wins MVPs in tournaments the 1st player mentioned won (DHM Marseille, for example).

How device wins tournaments vs how s1mple wins tournaments: content.wisestep.com/wp-content/uploads/.. The top one represents Astralis as the three men and device as the boss and Na'Vi as the bopss and s1mple as the three men.

Blast is not t1,5 its t2, there was only one t1 team (Astralis) and only 2 t2 teams (NiP and MiBR) and rest of the teams were trash

Don't look at their form in the tournament but in their form leading up to the tournament. Is Navi at NY and stockholm a t2 team?

navi form before NY: got the easiest playoff bracket possible, got crushed once they met a tier1 team faze form before NY: went 0-2 in major with karrigan IGLing, lost to big and navi. is this what you call a tier1 form ?

Still, tiers should not be defined as their pure quality but rather by the difference between them and their peers. If navi and faze are t2, then that means HR, NiP, G2 are t3 and teams like VP or C9 are t4. And teams like Kinguin, Fragsters are t5. Which is just wrong on so many levels.

A section of a 'top 20; list I have been compiling 1. S1mple [1.33 (1.29 Major), 5 MVP, 1 EVP (Major), 3 Wins, 67 pts] 2. Device [1.25 (1.16 Major), 4 MVP (1 Major MVP) , 6 EVP, 6 Wins (1 Major), 31 pts] 3. NiKo [1.26 (1.22 Major), 1 MVP, 4 EVP (1 Major EVP), 2 Wins, 46 pts] Leaderboard score (pts), works as follows: 1st - 5pts 2nd - 4pts 3rd - 3pts 4th - 2 pts 5th - 1pt

Simple is best on an Aim-map - Device is better in a 5 on 5 match where you need to win. But they are both very good both places :D

Maybe s1mple has better raw aim and skill but obviously whatever device is doing is working. Maybe more supportive, team-focused style = worse stats but better team win rate. Also tbh I think it's easier to get more frags when your whole team plays to set you up like for s1mple, and you have two anchors on your team in terms of frags so you have to pick up the slack. It's not a coincidence that many T2 star players who were fragging machines turn into just regular players when they play alongside better teammates.

StarSeries S5 (t2 evet) ECS Season 5 Finals ( t1 event) BLAST PRO Series Istambul (t1,5 event) delusional
2018-09-30 12:46
SLS5 had only Mouz, (Liquid top6, but navi havent played with them). SL is tier2 Blast had MIbr and NIP. Blast is tier2. ECS had FaZe (top2), Fnatic (top5), Liquid. Tier 1,5 Asia Championship EnVy (top20 just before disband) tier 999999 NaVi won easier tournament (SLs5), because they simply didnt qualify for ECS. Astralis, FaZe, Fnatic could play on Starladder but they denied invite. That is the difference. That is why i think ECS is tier1,5 and SLs5 tier2.
2018-09-30 13:23
Fnatic top 5

BLAST PRO Series Istambul 2018 was a tier 2 event unfortunately. An easy money grab for Astralis. No NaVi, FaZe, Liquid, Mouse Sports.

People needs to understand what's MVP meant at first, it means Most Valuable Player. That doesnt mean best player. It means that the player is the most important for their team. If you take out device from Astralis, they are still a good team. If you take out s1mple from NaVi, mehhh But yeah MVP just became a thing for "best/better" player and stats freaks

If anyone is making a new team and would take device over s1 they are retard lmao
2018-09-30 15:37
S1mple has yet to become a team player. An area where he seems like a complete noob TBH. This noobiness needs full attention, or he will act like a spoiled kid within his new team. Then rather pick a player who is already a full blown teamplayer. You are running a huge risk with S1mple, a risk which could become very expensive in both results, team chemistry and buyout. He needs to mature. Sure he is improving his teamplay, but at a mediocre pace IMO.
