if i understand ur question correctly, then x = 4, x*=3 means x = x * 3 what basically is 4 * 3 and print(x) prints ur number, kinda close to C actually lul and never saw python

Just open fucking IDLE and run OP's script, you dumb cunt. print(x) in that script gives you 12, because x*=3 means it takes x, which is 4, and multiplies it with 3 (because '3' corresponds to x * <value>).

x *= 3 means x = x * 3 and x is assigned 4 so the result is 12 it is just simpler syntax, same wit x +=1, it will be adding +1 every time you call it

You couldn't understand that because you have no idea about data structures and algorithms i guess.Learn them first and then you can easily learn python cause it has a really simple syntax
