Yeah
2018-10-12 00:26
How did you learn danish it´s hard :)
2018-10-12 00:55
Im 18, I moved to Denmark when I was 9, so basically I've been here half of my life, I had to learn it to attend normal danish school.
2018-10-12 01:09
I don't think that Danish is as hard as Polish. If it comes to be "very good at speaking/writing" any language, Polish might be top3 of hardest languages to master. Almost every word in Polish have like 5 different endings or even more. english example - swim, swam, swum, swimming. polish example - plywasz, plywam, plywamy, plywaja, plywacie, plywalem, plywales, plywalas, plywalam, plywalismy, plywaliscie, plywali, plywalo (those are only few of past tense and present tense. Few, not all. And there is also future tense and few other things in Polish language)
2018-10-12 08:17
almost every Slavic language has many different endings.
2018-10-12 08:28
True but Polish is hardest of all of them in every way (speaking/writing). Spelling is hard as fk. I know a guy from USA who lives and work in Poland for 10 years and still he's making alot of mistakes. I would rate his polish 5/10. Most Polish people can't even spell correctly so I don't expect him to be good at it. When I say most I mean 60-70%.
2018-10-12 08:37
Try Czech lul
2018-10-12 09:06
Czech is third hardest slavic language after Polish and Russian. But Czech is closest language to Polish. Me and You - we could say kurwa forever and it would sound the same XD
2018-10-12 10:46
Yes xd For me russian is way easier than czech tho.

Imo, Polish is harder in writing. Danish is harder to speak.
2018-10-12 08:38
Honestly? Polish is maybe 15% harder in writing than speaking. My language is fvcked up in every possible way : | But Danish seems hard aswell. My friend said that Danish is harder than French, Spanish, German and English combined and he speaks all of those languages so I believe him English is easy as fk and thats why every1 should speak english. Atleast at this level as mine.

I agree, but I personally find Spanish to be incredibly easy to learn when you already know a Germanic language. The only thing that can make it difficult is that Spanish nationals speak so f**king fast... :P

I think it is just incredible that we are able to speak our languages :DDD
2018-10-13 21:50
Thats not even all But tbh none of us ever use many of those. Like for example "koirattammekokaan" i cant think of a sentence where this would fit well
2018-10-13 22:09
Hungarian (just those which come in my mind rn) Úszik Úszni Úsznak Úsznál Úsznának Úsznátok Úsznék Úszok Úszol Úszna Úszunk Úsznánk Úszhatnánk Úsztok Úsznátok Úszhatnátok Úszhatnának Úszkálnak And each of these words with these begginnings: Be Ki Le Fel Meg El Át Rá Ide Oda Szét Össze Vissza

2018-10-14 09:27
Portuguese is also hard tho.

No man you are so wrong xd I am a native brazilian and I can tell that you know talk is what us call "Portunhol" xd I went to Uruguay and I man, was hard af to understand. Its similar yes but in the same time have nothing in comum xd PS: wtf the lady on supermarket almost beat me cuz I dont understand her xDddd
2018-10-13 10:20
then you have some problem with the spanish, because atleast for me portuguese is ez af, learnt basic portuguese by only playing cs
2018-10-13 18:09
No I understand easily like all brazilians, but talking or making sentence right is way to harder that we think
2018-10-13 20:31
Cuz they have same basics we understand all the words, like me with my poor english. :p that was what I mean

Hardest to speak/write like it is Your national language. Kinda sad that You dont know any1 who's working as a translator and You can't ask him about Polish language. You have internet tho and still to lazy to check facts, You chose to write bullshit instead. have a nice day

"Hardest to speak/write like it is Your national language. " so which language is like that? all languages are hard to "master" like you say. "You have internet tho and still to lazy to check facts, You chose to write bullshit instead. " that would be you, I checked about 10 websites, and Polish was 10th on ONE list, yet you claim that it's "always in top 10".

and at your home, do you speak polish or spanish? if you dont want to answer there is no problem
2018-10-13 09:18
Both languages , i speak with my mother only in Spanish and with my father only in Polish
2018-10-14 16:04
so you translate between them or how does it work?
2018-10-15 02:25
No, the situation with my dad and mom is that they communicate between them in Polish and Spanish, i'd say 50-50 , or sometimes all days in Spanish or Polish just to practice - it's necessary for my dad, as we do not live in Spain and to be able to communicate with his parents in law and family from my mom's side. For my mom Polish it's a common thing, she speaks fluently Polish as we are living in Poland. When we are eating dinner, supper or we are together we speak in Spanish. When we are with my family from Poland or someone visited us we speak in Polish.

do countries like Ukraine, Lithuania, Belarus (example obv) have to learn russian or they speak both russian and their native language? because most of slavic countries know how to speak russian as far as i know . Btw srry for being ignorant
2018-10-13 09:23
Only in places like vilnius most people are speaking russian from their early days because there are some districts where most people are russian speaking. rest of us, learn it in school, but i doesn't really help. i mostly learned russian from watching tv shows and listening music can't tell anything about ukraine of belarus
2018-10-13 09:33
Yeah, they have to. Ukranians learn russian for first 3/4 years of school as far as I know. Actually, many ukranians choose to speak russian with each other. Kiev, for example, is mostly russian speaking city. But still, officials speak ukranian and documents and such are in Ukranian language too. As for Belarus, russian and belorussian are both official languages there but russian is much more common. Even most of the official documents are in russian and it is basically everywhere and everyone speaks it here.

Can you write/read Cantonese? I know that’s really hard to learn when you aren’t in China.

Unfortunately no, my parents never taught me how to. I only knew how to speak and understand it, but unfortunately since I've spoke english for most of my life, I've started forgetting how to speak it but i can understand it just fine. As for any chances of relearning it, I'll prob go to mandarin instead as Cantonese is considered a dying dialect of chinese since its practically only spoken in Southern China especially in Hong Kong but Mandarin is spreading there as well as HongKongers also need to learn it as well.
