Russian grain vodka is pretty drinkable. Some brands like russian standard have barely any noticable taste when frozen.

Why do most russians have 5$ microphone, 40fps medium settings etc if they are all rich LUL. The living standard is meh for an average joe in ruskiland.
2018-10-12 20:44
They simply don't care so much about material things, instead they dedicate their lives to unveil the deepest secrets of the unknown
2018-10-12 21:59
+1 absolutely true
2018-10-12 22:07
What do they spend the money on then? Saving for their vodka fund when they retire xD? I mean a decent gaming headset doesnt cost alot, 60-100$ here and its most likely cheaper in Russia.
2018-10-12 22:41
yes
2018-10-12 23:36
Well mostly they are poor, their standard of living is lower than that of Sweden's/ end of story.

I saw all of your comments in this thread, bro you are taking it too seriously) I can't say for everyone here, but I was 100% sarcastic about our wealth) It's soo obvious that the life in Russia is way worse than in Europe or US. It's not catastrophic, I should say, even if you don't have education, you can instantly find a 300-400$ job and make a living out of it. Ofc salaries in Europe, esp in Nordic countries are way higher, but I just want to point out that in Russia there are the same people who lead the same lifestyle, just a bit cheaper:)). But we are not all alcohoics and junkies, even though there are many unhappy people who drink themselves to death, but they are minority:) Have a good day Best wishes, og_loc
2018-10-14 14:33
Yeah ofc all are not alcoholics, its just a stereotype meme, but vodka and cigarettes is really cheap in russia so people with addictions, mental problems and such can easily drain their sorrows in vodka without worrying about the cost. And apartments, food, gas prices, taxes are lower then EU+US but the minimum wage and average salary is lower as a result. Not sure if it's true but doctors, teachers, dentists and other high educated people have a salary of 50 000 rubel ive read somewhere, and medium to low education seemed to have a salary off 18 000 - 30 000 rubel. Living standard here and salarys are alot higher here, but living is more expensive. Yeah you can for sure live happy in russia, life isnt all about money and material things anyways :) Have a good day you too.

))) Yeah, the standards of living are way lower than in Europe( Russia is on 60-61 place in terms of standard of living. Actually, I've been dreaming about moving to European countres since I was 13-14. Czech Republic or Poland would be nice. Sweden or Finland would be perfect But on the other hand it's easier to start a business in Russia, because the competition here is lower. I'm planing to start a business here when I graduate, then impove my English and move to Europe to live on the income)))

The best friend i think i made this here is from Brazil and he paid 800€/month the entirety of last year, and didn't pass a single subject... Now he's paying 127€ like me, but his courage to keep going is insane. In Brazil it must be hard. Teachers here teach too fast, i missed 1 class of labs and i don't understand anything, but in Brazil there's less money going into studies, so teachers should be even rougher... Wish you all the best!
2018-10-17 15:53
In college the teachers are pretty good. When I was doing Engineering the teacher was really good but he used to speak a little bit faster since he assumed we had learn the basci of the subject in high school (which should be but thats not the reality). Wish all the best too m8

2018-10-12 20:35
dedication yes, but as you can see they are not smartest creatures alive.
2018-10-12 21:03
Smartness and Intelligence are not measured by how good were your school years. They surely had to give up some skillset in order to be the best doing what they do. There are still players that are quite cult and even with high end knowledge in another areas
2018-10-12 21:56
bro, please stop, there are lot of smart footballers for example Petr Cech, but most of them are just dumb and lucky enough to become pro athlete in before labourer
2018-10-12 22:03
Yeah billionares like bill gates, elon musk, ingvar camprad, jeff bezos, Mark Zuckerberg etc they dont drive around in bugattis and own 40 luxury cars etc. They are smart and invest their money to make even more and do good things like donating to charity, research etc.
2018-10-12 20:53
So what car does Elon Musk drive? Are you sure he is not driving a state of the art Tesla?
2018-10-16 09:57
Ofc he drives a tesla lol and tesla's arent that expensive. My point is these type of billionares dont have 10 different ferraris, 10 lamborghinis, 3 bugattis, 5 maserati's, 3 ford mustang, 3 koenisegg's and a bunch of various suv's, limo's etc in their 60 car garage lol.

In Sweden probably 98% of all the M5, AMG, porsche and shit and probably financed by loans/credits. But it is those 2% that paid the car cash, that is the true rich people. So just to make a point, I believe oscar is one of those 2% who does not have a loan on his car.

its retarded to buy expensive car instead of leasing it/loaning it whatever, it ties up too much money, money that can be used elsewhere and make more money for the payments
2018-10-12 20:29
Ye cars drop alot in price over the years. Stupid to buy 60k € car which will be worth 12-17k€ after 5-6 years if you're lucky xD. Buying a house or apartment is the best investment for a normie since they dont really drop in price they stay around the same or increase in value.
2018-10-12 20:59
A car doesn't drop 40-50k in 5 years lol.
2018-10-12 22:10
Well i ment to write 6-10 years was on the phone when i wrote that. It does drop alot in value thats my point, lets say you buy a brand new popular BMW 50k euro car and you drive 2000 miles every year, doing all the engine and other carparts services according to the recomended service interval for that car, you'd be pretty lucky to sell it after 10years and 20000miles on record for half of the price you bought it. A more realistic price for a 10 year old bmw with a good service book and stuff and 20000miles would be 17-20k Euro. Not to mention all the service costs, full insurance over those 10 years, ez 15k euro in insurance, maybe around 10k for services in total if nothing big has to be done. So you spent 75k euro in total with insurance and services and thats excluding new tires, car tax, gas, car cleaning and such. 50k euro-> 17-20k euro.
2018-10-12 22:34
2000 miles a year u wot mate? It's in case you use it twice a week to drive around your garage or smth?
2018-10-14 01:11
Yeah? It depends where your job is, where you live, how often you travel etc. If u have 5 miles to work thats 10 miles per day and if u work 5days per week thats 2200 miles per year for getting to job only and i excluded 1 working month since you have right to 1 month paid holiday in swe. And if you add trips to grocery store, roadtrips, travel to friends/family , picking up kids from school etc it adds up. Alot of people average around 1500-2000 miles per year on their car, some even more.
2018-10-14 03:01
Ofc it's retarded to buy any car that havent yet lost half of it's value or even more. But having a BMW M5 for example and paying 600-2000 euro a month (depending on installment, insurence etc) is not being rich, I can afford an 2014 M5 today with a salary of 2.5k euro/month. But having the actual cash to pay this car off instant or within a year or so is what rich means. Sure you can lease cars and shit but that's always gonna lose you cash..

Why would he buy a car if he's traveling all the time ?? Also why would he buy a shitty car that 15 year olds dream of
2018-10-13 17:27
Every tier1 pros have salary between 15k$ to 25k$ Ofc they all rich you dumbass
2018-10-13 17:27
T1 pros make between 15-30k a month. Not too mention prize money which even if you aren't constantly winning tournaments can be substantial. Think about how much money a major win is per person. Say the C9 boys who haven't done much in 2018 make 15k a month. That's 180k a year plus 100k just for the major win. That's not counting any other cash. Good pros are certainly nearing like surgeon money.
2018-10-14 00:50
Atleast 50k plus from sticker money too. Thats why qualifying for the major is always important to them.

PRETTY DUMB QUESTION, palyers of top teams are making thousands of ddollars that most of their parents do not make, so they can change cars quiet often actually
2018-10-14 03:06
idk if you're serious but a tradie (tradesman) here in australia can buy that car, nothing special lol that being said it's still a really nice car (even tho idk the exact model)

2018-10-14 08:47
oskar's Approx. Total Winnings :$300,314 by liquipedia + salary + sponsors
2018-10-14 08:50
Is that his personal winnings or his teams winnings? Because in a team you will need to split that 5 ways, sometimes 6 if the org gets a cut. I hope these guys are smart with their money and realize that these big paychecks arent going to last forever. Invest in some property and live off the rent money.
