On average (->"tend), it is true. Average IQ of high school drop outs is lower than of people with a masters degree, and you can show it at any other levels, too. No one is saying there isn't any low educated people who are more intelligent than higher educated ones.

of course not everybody with high eductation is smart and not everybody with low education is stupid, but there is a correlation it is all about statistics, a thing with which most people with lower education struggle they focus at execeptions, but the significance of execeptions is comparably low

Just read up on how differently the word is used in American politics compared to European politics before you label people on an international site. going to college to get a degree you will never use should not count as a higher education. the reason that people that go to college tend to be liberal more than conservative is because of the acedemic environment.
2018-10-15 17:40
ppl go to college cuz they were thought to do that cuz society profits from this shit. if u can study for free its fine u dont waste much but in america if u go graduate with 150k debt ur fkd already and could just work after highschool.

baiting or really retarded? ^^
2018-10-15 23:40
it is true
2018-10-15 23:43
you logic is flawed, by that logic everyone with a high education would be a green voter. it seems to me you want to prove yourself you are very tolerant and open minded and that's why you write this. i have a university degree aswell and i have migration background and i am still not voting for greens. so your argument doesn't work. the reason why a lot of academics vote left is because of the education system and the reason they mostly don't come in contact with bad situations produced by left politics. the rest i wrote in another comment below. it's not like there is everything good in right or left. there are some points i agree with from greens aswell, same as left/linke , and then there are points i agree with right parties, like migration policy for example. it depends on how you argue and on the situation, i don't like ppl talking about left and right in general as if there would be only 2 choices. in general i am more of a mid guy, greens are far left in germany though.
2018-10-15 23:48
I never said that all high educated people vote green I said that I have one of the highest educational levels possible (PhD at elite university) and that I voted green as soon as I was allowed to vote and that statistically high educated people vote more green and left parties than lower educated people I know the importance of statistics and the role of expectations. A common mistake many people do is focusing on exceptions in their arguments, because there are exceptions for almost everything it makes discussions pointless. you have to focus and the statistical importance of this exceptions.
2018-10-15 23:52
yes i do, it depends on the topic. as i wrote in another comment, i know that acadaemics and people with a higher income vote more left parties, but that doesn't mean that they are right. a higher education in special areas doesn't mean they know a lot about politics aswell. then there are social aspects aswell, people with a lot of money for example are less likely to care about poverty or crime. people who are really affected by this are mostly those with less income and in areas that are worse, not gated and so on. it's pretty logical, that's what i was trying to say, you act as if because you have a high education and vote green /left you are the clever and smart one, but that is not the case, there are people out there who know more about the problems you cannot understand because you never really were in a situation to feel it. i talked to a lot of ppl in university and most of them are left voters, when i ask them in detail about political things they have no clue about it. they just say yes we are liberal and open minded that's why we vote merkel/greens/linke/SPD but don't see the overall social development. that's exactly the reason why the AFD is rising, and thats's also the reason why mrs. Sarah wagenknecht from a a left party formed another movement, which has some points same as the right parties and that is antimassmigration, because she understands that this won't work. you either have a social state or open borders, you can't have both. that's a logical thing to say but left parties don't say it because the right parties say it too and they don't want to look racist. voting left and having a higher education doesn't mean you are right in everything you say.
2018-10-16 00:01
I actually agree with the most things you say but I am for example (and I know that I am an exception in that regard, I know, I don't say this has high statistical value) from a poor family from a small village and I know how it is to have very little. but that never kept me away from helping others and being active in Greenpeace and BUND. for me helping others is just as important as helping myself you can call it showing of high moral standards (but HLTV wouldn't be the right place for that, here an egoistical and edgy attitude is better accepted), but in my opinion that is just part of being a kind and good person if I am wrong (very unlikely case ;-) ), then I would rather be wrong while doing good things then while being egoistical
2018-10-16 00:09
ok you still didn't get it, you see you think this is a moral thing i am not egoistic actually its the opposite, i really care about people being safe on the streets and, it is not. it's good that you are part of greenpeace, i care for the environment aswell. that's what i was trying to say, but there are also other topics that greens are NOT right. when it comes to climate problems i agree with them, but in migration aspects they are wrong, because of some of the things i said above. i care about people in africa aswell as for people in europe (my father is actually from ghana) but that does not mean the solution is to migrate people from africa to europe, especially when most of them are men and not children/women, then those with money to pay the smugglers so not the really poor ones, and then even those with criminal or islamistic background. why would we take millions of people and pay billions of euros for the wrong ones that manged to get to europe by paying pirates and criminals to smuggle them, while the real victims stay in war areas/ poverty. you can support 15-20x more people in africa with the money we spent here for 2 Million people. and that's exactly the point, this whole migration policy is not about humanitarian help it is about economy, demographic change in europe leads to less people, companies need more workers also low educated workers who are cheaper, on the other side we have ideologists who want to mix the world who support this. this whole migration "crisis" is a relocation program for africans/ ppl from near east to europe under the cloak of humanitarian help. how many ppl died on the sea because of this pull effect merkel created when inviting millions of people to europe. why would you say you want to fight causes why economy migrants or real refugees flee, but on the same time you deliver weapons to saudi arabia, iran, qatar and so on who bomb other countries like yemen and create more refugees, same goes weapon delivery from these countries to the islamic state (IS), and then these so called democrats talk about freedom and safety but support erdogan who jails oppositions, eliminates freedom of speech and secularism to create a new islamic ottoman empire, starts wars in syria like in afrin and fights kurds not only in syria but also in his own country, with weapons he gets from germany. i mean does this really sound logical to you ? if you say you want to fight for planet earth for climate and so on. i am with you 10000%, but greens same as merkel are not only a party for climate, there are some serious ideologists even left radicals in this party. i can not support something that accepts islamism, child marriages, crimes and so on and tries to relativise thse serious problems because of political correctness, that is exactly what most left parties are doing.
2018-10-16 00:26
CDU and Merkel are actually very retrograde in terms of climate protection and renewable energy. I would never vote for them and I don't agree with hem in most aspects the thing is, I personally don't think the "migration crisis" is that big of a problem. In my opinion (and that is not based on facts, it is just my personal opinion) it is a way to catch ez votes from people that fall for such stuff. Of course the crime rate increases and there are people suffering from this and every person that suffers because of this is one to much. The thing is most people in Germany have a insane amount of wealth, even the people that think they are poor are wealthy compared to many parts of the world. And this wealth is only possible by using cheap workers in 3rd world countries, exploiting there natural resources and even selling weapons. that high wealth is not sustainable in my opinion. everybody has to learn to life with less and share some of their wealth. we have the possibilities to help a lot of people. of course, with this our own standard of life decreases, but that is something most of the Germans can endure (but they don't want to, understandably) but overall I don't see migration as a big factor to influence my vote, it is just not that important in my opinion. I could underestimate the effects, of course, but I doubt it
2018-10-16 00:33
migration is the main topic in the 21st century. that is not only what i see and understand, that is also what other presidents said, even merkel, sarkozy and so on. when you really say that migration is not a problem then you haven't understood what this really means. everything and i mean really everything is connected to that topic. climate change for example too, when the population in africa which is now at 1.1 billion and is about to reach 4 billion in 2100 has no food because of climate change or destablity and other things, there is no way europe can handle this. this leads to deseases, epidemics and also war not only in africa but also in europe. then you have the integration goal to get these people with a much lower education level to work and live in a modern europe. the eduation level sinks, which wlil lead to less wealth in general because of less inventions. you have more religious fanatics more criminality, more racism, a more divided society. what we have here atm is just the beginning of something so big we are not able to control if we don't watch out and handle this migraiton properly. for me it doesn't feel as if you really understood the consequences of what is happening atm. when you change the demographic structure of a country, you change its character, its culture, its way of living, if you do it so uncontrolled, with 80-90% men from foreign cultures, then not only the cultural differences but also religious aspects of politicla islam spreading, you won't be able to control it. there will be parallel societies where people do not even speak the language of the country they are living in, we already have that in a lot of big cities here in germany, and look at marseiille in france, or trappes, or in sweden stockholm/malmö. or belgium molenbeek. it will not work like this, and the reason i am trying to explain this to so many peole is, because i don't want it to fail. noone can help africa and other less developed countries when germany/ europe is politically and socially destabalized because we imported problems we could have handeled much better when we just have looked at the facts and not look away because of political correctness. i tell you the way it is going now, this will not work, either we really change this whole birthrate concept in africa, same as migration control or we will face big social tensions maybe even civil war not only in african countries but also in europe. this is not an exxageration this is what will happen, and climate change as important as it is for us, can't be fought against or noone will really care anymore when we have to fight other problems that are even more lifethreatening for our civil life

Voting has nothing to do with iq. Getting brainwashed by ur favorite actor singer athlete into thinking it’s raciest to agree with anything that the right says is s sign of a sheep. Remember all them actors live on top of a mountain in a gated community with body guards. They don’t live in the real world with 90% of the population. Logic open up the boarders so millions n millions of people come in that will be taking the common mans job. They don’t take the actors job or the singers job no they take the landscapers job or the mechanic the cook the truck driver the factory workers job. All the real people that keep countries going. Plus wages drop when u have a surplus of employees. So instead of makeing 25$ a hr now it’s a 18$ hr job. Instead of 12$ a hr it’s now 9$ a hr. But hey Katy perry sings on tv so she must be right.

people who voted for greens are actually those with an above average income. these ppl don't know anthing about crime or drugs or islamism and all this stuff cause they live in good areas with nearly no migrants, that's the reason they vote for this shit. the ppl in cities are voting a lot for greens cause a lot of them ARE migrants, even augsburg has a migrant rate > 40% same as munich. turks, kurds arabs and so on changed from SPD to greens (because SPD on bundesebene has gone down dramatically), actually the left parties in bavaria lost in general, SPD went down from 20.9% to 9,7%, greens went form 9.x to 17.5 %. AFD came in new with 10.2, so more voters for afd, more voters for Freie Wähler, and FDP. when you pick all conservative parties together you get 2/3 of the bavarians voting for midright and right parties, while less voted for left. now you can go cry in a corner cause you still haven't understood what the problem in germany is atm. noone cares about snobs living in wealthy areas with low crimerates, no islamism, knife attacks, rapes, drug dealings everything has gone up, and the reason for that is this shitty leftgreen agenda these so called "educated people" have no clue about or don't care because they aren't affected by it and don't care if germany goes to shit as long as they have money and safety

Most of the countries have leftists governments, education in countries is public, the choice of knowledge that students should acquire, is directed by the government, so most schools give students left-wing education. How do you think that those students will vote for?

It’s the truth. I’m getting my education right as we speak. Is it as expensive as places like Harvard or Stanford? No. Expensive educations are given to people who are spoon fed their entire lives, and probably never had to work a day in their lives.

I agree with you. I thought you were one of these Trump high school dropouts who hate on everyone who's getting a higher education. My friend, the system in the US is fucked and corrupt. These ivy schools are disgusting and only for rich kids to pay for a degree (they have some very intelligent and gifted people there to keep their image and research tho). I heard there's inflation of marks and the students cry to the TA's for getting a B. Here in Germany education is good tho, I only need to pay 450€ per semester (Computer science) and a ticket for public transport within my state is included.
