hello lady and gentlemen of it has been a while since i made last post because i lazy as fuck but i have been inspired by the recent StarSeries tournament where ENCE took first place over Vega Squadron in a tight 3-2 score line. honestly i really enjoyed this final, much better than the major and it didnt cost me a penny. watching the fellas from Vega play really made me think how sick some of them are and how they have a future somewhere hopefully on a top tier team. i dont really think Vega are a top tier team right now and probably wont be, theyre pretty reserved for a professional team and while they are very interesting to watch i dont think they will ever have a huge impact. the competition at StarSeries wasnt too insane and Vega caught everyone off guard Vega have a very unique play style to most other professional teams, even the GOATs like Astralis have a predictable style to some extent, even if that style is prepare to get fucking ruined by grenades, you just sort of know that it is coming. Vega have an incredibly aggressive style that even the most experienced teams do not expect, the first time we really saw this powerhouse aggression from the team was back against Ninjas in Pyjamas in 2016 during the ELEAGUE qualifier where NiP got fucking decimated 16-2 and were eliminated. the roster has undergone a few changes since then but the basic style and IGL being Dmitriy "jR" Chervak remain and so does this style. i like to compare them to a highly advanced matchmaking team, very little coordination, few nades and just hard to predict strats usually involving a rush somewhere and just outaiming everyone. another thing i noticed about them is they do a lot of "matchmaking buys" as i like to call them, a "matchmaking buy" consists of a variety of weapons, SMGs, AWPs, pistols, rifles, pretty much whatever they can afford to buy + armour and they will just YEET to a site and fuck everyone. the current lineup for Vega consist of: jR - AWPer and IGL, imo a fantastic player and unique IGL who i admire a lot Leonid "chopper" Vishnyakov, the typical hard carry and Russian terminator Pavel "hutji" Lashkov Anton "tonyblack" Kolesnikov, formerly kibaken, played for Natus Vincere many years ago Igor "crush" Shevchenko there is a couple of CIS/EU mix teams right now that may be looking for talent right now, those are: Na'Vi, Gambit and HellRaisers. Na'Vi are unlikely to pick anyone up from Vega as they probably have their sights set on someone from Gambit such as Dauren "AdreN" Kystaubayev as Gambit are pretty much leaving CS:GO anyway. Na'Vi probably want to replace Ioann "Edward" Sukhariev as it has been a while since he has done anything. i think that Abay "Hobbit" Khasenov is also a fine pickup as he too is a great player. LOL AS I AM WRITING THIS I REFRESHED HLTV TO SEE THAT ADREN HAS JUST GONE UP FOR TRANSFER SO NOW THERE IS NO POINT IN ME MAKING THIS POST. no i will continue :) AdreN is now looking like a very likely pickup as he is a fantastic consistent player and now he is up for grabs. i dont really know how well Vega players would function in a different team purely because they would not be used to such a coordinated team with strats and stuff, especially seeing as 3 of their players have been in it since 2015 its almost like theyre too far gone with this wack style of play and they could never function in a strat based team. if anyone was to join a higher tier team i think it would be chopper, man is so skilled, he did some ludicrous 1v4 on train a little while back during the major, some of the crispiest shit ive ever seen, mans got real talent i think and i hope that he would be able to transfer it is he was in a different team. -happy_2_major_niko_0_major

Hello there. I understand your point, but why u want to shuffle decent (not top tier, but still) team for a team, which is not a fact that can play, as you imagine. Right now they're top2 CIS team(by points ranking of hltv) But I think Avangar could climb here too in that ranking(they just need more LAN experience). U know besides very aggresive style sometimes, vega have other unique skill - they're being underestimated...always. Many teams underestimated Vega, and they pushed them to their underestimation in the throat later (like nip you mentioned before, faze and from later examples big). My point is = give the current lineup a chance,I don't think they want to break their "chemistry" at least for now. Everyone of them have some problems, such as sometimes JR and chopper literally dissapears from map in some crucial rounds (we all ppl, that's understandable,u can't play at your peak like everytime). Oh and btw,it was interesting to read,ty and peace:)

i already expressed my opinion in another comment about the navi situation. while i definitely agree that swapping edward or flamie for adren (just to name one example) could be an upgrade, i also have to say that the recent mouz moves should be kept in mind. you got a tier 2 team in navi, no matter from which angle you look at it. they are bound to win tournaments in the near future, keep in mind that astralis dont attend all events to keep their game strong. it would be unreasonable to change the roster just because there exists a chance (not a guarantee) that they might upgrade. lastly i can only say that if navi infact brought in adren, things would get spicy and interesting to say the least. and isnt that what we all want?

"you got a tier 2 team in navi" not sure if stupid or stupid lol...

both adren and hobbit are overrated af. how on earth is adren really good and consistent? and keep in mind that stats of both adren and hobbit are mainly from group stage bo1 matches vs random t1-t4 teams while stats of edward are also from semifinal and final games vs the very best. both adren and hobbit wouldnt be an upgrade at all based on their actual performance(i dont care about some speculation if they would be able to hit their peak again in new team...snax wasnt able to do it so lets just stick with facts)...and on top of that why would navi even risk to pick them and completely screw their chemistry with zeus/kane vs adren hobbit? sorry but no, your whole point about navi doesnt make sense at all
2018-10-18 08:49
you are completely delusional if you in all honesty claim that both hobbit and adren are worse players than botward. keep in mind the guy is playing with best 2 cis pros and gets carried af, if he played in vega or hr he would have 0.8 rating. you have no clue about pro cs. leave this site and go watch the OWL or some shit
2018-10-18 14:19
i didnt say anywhere that they are worse. i only said that its not guaranteed upgrade. both adren and hobbit just dont perform this year and you can see that in that comparsion...

mou has been the only consistent player on gambit in last 6 months, mir slowly improving cant see the reasoning keeping Dosia but i guess its the best decision moving forward dropping adren and hobbit must be swaying towards a Russian roster keeping Dosia and mir, so expect another +2 russians possibly from vega /winstrike/spirit

NaVi can be a solid team after getting Adren or Hobbit instead of Edward and perhaps be a solid team that can beat Astralis perhaps. Nice post Bump
