Those are verbs. Adjectives: Bueno: Good Malo: Bad Gordo: Fat Flaco: Thin Alto: Tall Bajo: Short Pequeño: Small Grande: Big Asombroso: Amazing That's the basic. Spanish is easy to learn but hard to master. I'm not a teacher but I think I have a good spanish, I'm passionate about my language. The adjectives can change its meaning depending on the use. For example. Él es bueno (He is a good person) Él está bueno (He is hot/sexy) So, be careful You can ask me anything

thanks you very much you are helping me out very good. i am also very passionate about the spanish language its my favorite out of all, thats why im trying very hard to learn it. so adjectives dont change the form they have like for example: yo hablo changes to tu hablas right? Which means that this is correct: Yo soy gordo / Nosotros somos gordo?

Adjectives change, for masculine and feminine, and plural and singular. I will capitalize what changes. Yo soy gordO. (If I am a man, singular) Yo soy gordA. (If I am a woman, singular) NosotrOs somos gordOS. (Plural, men or a mix of men and women) NosotrAs somos gordAS. (Plural, only women) Feo (m) / Fea (f) and so on. This is the basic, and apply for most words, but not for everything. You might find inclusive language. People are starting to use "e" to replace "o" (linked with masc) and "a" (linked with fem), Like this: NosotrEs somos gordEs There is a big debate about it right now

very nice explanation mate. so it just changes between plural and singular (and men and women), but does it also change between for example: nosotros and vosotros or does it stay the same

Mexico LEWORb
Nosotros as "we" Vosotros (Spain) and Ustedes (Latinamerica) as "You" (plural) Ustedes son gordos (You are fat) Nosotros somos gordos (We are fat) Ustedes and Vostros is 2nd person plural Nostros is 1st person plural

Oh, ok, sorry No, they don't, just take care, if the group of people is formed of only women, use the "a" like "gordas", "locas", "hermosas". If it's a mix or only men use "o" like "gordos", "locos", "hermosos"

2018-10-17 17:48
What??? Didn't understand a thing... If you are talking about a joke for spanish just add "azita" to the end it will sound spanish for sure

To make the joke we are speaking Portuguese we add "inho/a" to everything Do you have something similar for Spanish?
2018-10-17 19:07
Add "azita" for example lamp turns into lampazita and becomes suddenly spanish

Germany jordi_
But Eat Shit means: Coma mierda! wouldnt eat my dick mean: Coma mi polla ? And do you also say "cola" do dicks in spanish?
2018-10-17 18:48
"Cómeme" is more vulgar and more common, "coma" is like talking to you but in a formal way. dunno if i explained myself good enough.
2018-10-17 18:54
#105
 |
Germany jordi_
okay thank u. did i understand it right that coma is the "nicer" way to say that? And one more question. Why isnt it: Comeme mi polla? or is the "mi" already included in comeme?
2018-10-17 18:58
Adding "me" is like saying "to me", in spanish "a mi". And coma is the way to conjugate the verb when you talk to someone refering to him as "usted" and not as "tú" in german you would be talking to the person as "sie" and not as "du" (as long as I know).

you wouldn't, because is a slang sentence that doesn't mean anything there. you could say the literal meaning is "go back to your mother's vagina" while what we actually mean is "go fuck yourself", see? there is no point in translating.

Can't rly help you, but 1 question: do you learn Spanish by yourself or do you have to learn it for school (Abitur, Gymnasium)?
2018-10-18 00:17
#203
 |
Germany jordi_
Both. I learn it in order to get my Abitur. (French didnt really fit me well ^^). But in my opinion school isnt enough to get good at a 3rd language, so sometimes when im in the mood in learn by myself with an app or by watching spanish videos / series. ( Narcos is cool and you can learn spanish while watching, which is very nice :D ). So yeah all in all i would say that if u want to learn a language you need to do more than just sitting in school and watching the teacher talk. Nice to see you are interested thanks for asking mate! have a good day :D

Germany zeolikk
Yea, it was the exact same for me. I learned English in school and Spanish in my Abitur but I totally agree that it's not enough to just learn the language by participating in the lessons. Especially games and watching youtubers helped a lot for me to learn these languages. Great to see that you have a good ambition towards learning a new language. Have fun while learning and good luck in the future :)
