We saw it in Germany due to the lunar eclipse. Sun, earth, moon and mars were in one line 2 months ago. You didn't know? Mars was a red dot every night over 2 weeks and clearly visible.

You might confuse it with a star, but do some research and you'll know the difference! If you can see it right now below the moon, then amazing! :D

I do know the difference, I can distinguish planets and stars my dude :D. I of course can't see mars EVERY night, but often. And if not mars, then Saturn, Jupiter or Venus

Im guessing you have a telescope of some sort then? Otherwise it would be really hard to see planets.

You obv. can't see them in detail but you can see the difference between stars and planets with the naked eye.

Yeah I know, but I meant actually seeing a planet better than just like a star. I myself rarely see a planet with my eyes, but I do have a telescope so I can still see them.

You should be able to see Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn and maybe Mercury without a telescope most nights... Unless they are on the other side of the sun :)

I know you can see them, but I meant seeing them more than stars, some people (myself included) can see the difference between a star and a planet, but if you really want to see the planets and how they look then you need a telescope of some sort.

if you want to see how they look then you need a telescope, but if you want to just see them (The light, just like how you see normal starts) then you dont need a telescope

Yeah I know thats what I meant. But just seeing lights in the sky isnt really spectacular or anything. Oh man im just so hyped for that trip to Mars they're doing in 2024 (at least thats when they have planned it)

nope, venus is the brightest object in the sky after the sun and the moon and jupiter is very bright too, quite similar to mars in brightness. download skyview on android and see for yourself

Are you sure it's not Venus? After the Sun and the Moon, Venus is the 3. brightest object in the sky.
