JONTY COME HERE

Now that forsaken got banned, can we please stop pretending like there isn't cheating at T1/2 LANs as well? Forsaken did some obvious aimlocks and it turned out to be cheats, can we admit that players like Subroza has cheated as well, and many many more? Explain please Jonty.

2018-10-19 10:57
No, it means that there are more cheaters out there and that organizers aren't doing everyrhing they can to stop them. Imo the only 100% way to guarantee that you won't have cheats in pro CS is to let the organizers provide all gear used, and the pros can wish which keyboard/mouse they wanna use

i've just seen a clip of forsaken aim and u can spot it instantly no one has that kind of aim,idk which other pro is suspicious like that i didnt really see any suspicious play that made me think pros are maybe cheating other than flusha m4 spray transfer on inferno or maybe kjaerbye's aim i never understood how he kills people when he isnt even following the spray pattern that should be looked at imo
2018-10-19 10:58
flusha, FalleN, Subroza, Kjaerbye, Stewie2k iirc and many many more

He literally followed someone perfecly jumping and strafing behind a wall while flicking. Nobody can do that legitimately
2018-10-19 14:22
I agree, but there is others who does non-legit stuff as well
2018-10-19 14:27
Subroza is a definite and Flusha I don't think cheats anymore considering his shit performance lately but definitely cheated 2015-2016
2018-10-19 14:29
+1 my thoughts exactly
2018-10-19 15:40
It's truly sad that a bunch of losers have to cheat and put so much time into not getting caught rather than developing real skill in game which we know is possible without cheats.
2018-10-19 16:31
I mean they are really skilled as well, they are mostly taking info from their cheats
2018-10-19 20:59
That's still debatable because they could still have some very small aim assist
2018-10-19 21:00
They could have it yes but info is still the main thing
2018-10-19 21:02
Yeah I agree with you on the info thing because lets be real here they still fuck up and die on some retakes and assaults

yeah maybe but that only applies to local/national/ small LANS. because as soon as he went to an intl. lan he got caught
2018-10-19 13:40
I disagree, we have seen so many aimlocks on big LANs, remember KQLY playing?

so you can't know that the big intl lans have bad 'cheat' security, at least not from this evidence, which is what #1 was arguing
2018-10-19 13:53
We cannot "know" anything, but we can draw logical concludions from what we know. This guy was aimlocking and it turned out to be cheats, why could other aimlockers not also be cheating?

the logical conclusions here is that cheating in small LANs is and has always been possible, not 'cheating in EVERY SINGLE LANs to exist is possible NOW', which is what you're apparently saying.
2018-10-19 14:06
It is possible. Im not saying everyone does it but its possible. Just install your cheats after the admins have checked all your gear, which they do the day before it starts? Surely there is software advanced enough to bypass the anticheat. I proposed a solution to the problem above

what if the admin checks the gear right before the match? Surely you can't know that that's the procedure of cheats-preventing in INTL. LANS, which is held to a higher standard than other, smaller LANs
2018-10-19 14:21
Afaik what I've heard that's the procedure (checking gear 1 day before) but I could be wrong. Imo tournament organizers aren't doing everything they can to prevent cheating
2018-10-19 14:23
"because as soon as he went to an intl. lan he got caught" He got busted because he loaded a mm level cheat, from a rar file, on a tournament PC. The contents even had an exe in them ffs. Yet he was still free to connect a device to the tournament box / download from the internet, and unzip it, all while he was supposedly being watched by an admin and on a tournament PC locked down by the TO He was basically busted because he used a bargain basement cheat, and was an idiot.

People don't know you can have an automaticly injecting triggerbot/aimbot on your mouse (just needs like 10mb space made into it) as soon as you connect it via USB. It does not create anything on the computer, has no program running in the background. And the more private it is, the more secure it is. If its privately made just for you by a programmer theres literally zero chance you'll get caught. EDIT: The only way to really stop anyone from cheating, is that A) All phones or any electrical devices are collected before a game and B) Tournament organizer provides identical equipment for players to use, instead of their own that they bring with them.

im pretty sure pros only take their own mouse, keyboard and sometimes headphones, and that's it. Everything else like monitor and pc is provided by tourney organizers (at least thats how it is in big lans)
2018-10-20 09:38
Yes, that's how it is. But the thing is that the pros can install hacks into their mice after the admins have checked them so the system isn't 100% safe

Representatives of CSGO2ASIA, who were on-site when the incident happened, shone more light on the situation. The article explains that the "B5 platform anti-cheat" was triggered after suspicious activity, which prompted the admins to inspect forsaken's PC. After alt-tabbing, the admin spotted a suspicious program running in the background, which forsaken quickly closed and deleted. The admin team recovered the file but wasn't able to get the program back up-and-running, however, visual observation combined with the anti-cheat trigger was deemed enough by eXTREMESLAND admins for a disqualification to be warranted.
2018-10-20 12:39
yes, its good and it goes to show higher pros obviously cant cheat for sure
2018-10-20 12:44
This is laughable at best. Just because some irrelevant Indian player cheated on some tier 3 lan, with 15$ public cheat, and was incompetent enough to get caught, doesn't mean that pro teams are cheating. They are highly respectable athletes and honorable persons, which deserve nothing but respect. This witch hunt should stop because its harming the game and the community as a whole. Stop crying and let responsibles deal with the problem 0x0.st/bDJ.webm Have a nice day !

Jonty doesn't dismiss to 100% that cheats exist in competetive CS:GO? This is probably just something you have misunderstood. hltv.org/forums/threads/1850106/cheating.. You can then go to #140 and #148 in the comments where we more closesly discuss the matter of cheating. Jonty is just more on the side of "witch-hunting isn't the most effective way to find them." "I completely agree on both accounts. It's illogical to accuse everybody under the sun of cheating, in turn it's also illogical to assume nobody is cheating, either. It's a perfect middle ground to just enjoy CS:GO... No-one seems to be doing that these days. :( " -Jonty, #148 on previously mentioned thread.
2018-10-19 14:41
Okay, thanks for clarifying. But imo he has overly sided with the no-cheats side, maybe in a effort to combat witch hunting. I agree that most pros don't cheat but there is a couple of hot suspects out there.
