yes, cheaters are actually arrested in china lol
online qualifiers are a disgrace =/
I feel bad for kids that are grinding their asses off
They should be arrested, since so much money is involved, its basically a robbery.
We should learn from communist China and their laws related to gaming, especially cheat coding. Every kind of fraud or a scam should be considered a crime!
Some matches can be made before, like they already know who is winning or they can cheat because they need advantage.
They should get banned for ever, u know what ur doing before hand so if u get caught iits ur own fault.
cheat on pro scene is fixed and everything is fixd and valve is aware about 99% of what happen and they control it as they want since everyone is getting $$
no cuz valve actually supports cheating it makes the game more dramatic. would be boring if not single one taps are happening.
Yes, but usually the one's that are cheating are not even semi-pro. But, as long there's money involved, there sure should be consequences.
We guys going to airport to hit him no joke
I think they should be fined 10% of the winning money so it's a high price to pay and they won't do it because they are scared of paying like 10k to 100k $ for cheating.
They do in China but really, no.
The claim I hear sometimes is fined for messing up bets and stuff but thats just dumb because betting illegal lol.
The authorities shouldn't care about kids playing video games
both, fined and inprisoned, but it should depend from how much money prize they have take
I'm wondering if optic India most return their prize money?
I think the player should be fined but the org should be forced to check the players pc once in a while
this will only get worse, im loyal part of german cheat community and what the future of video game cheating will bring u all shall prepare ur butthole :D there are cheats that adapt human reflexes so it doesnt look robotic anymore when u lock someones head. prepare guys.
Yes they shuold be punished in heavy way. Pros put lot of time to cs cuz it's like ther job and they competes with other pros about prize moneys, and then someone who hasn't put that much effort on training decides to cheat, basically steals some of that prize money that someone else deserved.
Prison is a stretch though
Well, if valve weren't lazy asses, they could legally sue the cheating players as it breaks the ToS.
They should be punished imo, but only if they win money/prizes whilst cheating
I'm not sure how heavy of a punishment imprisonment will be, but maybe a choice between imprisonment or a lot of community service is a better option
I think they should not/will not be imprisoned. as I will refer from football whenever someone cheats, for example, a drug or something. They will be fined and banned from competition for a while, that's an appropriate response according to me.
