I mean, Japan is so expensive and time problem. I mean, we have worst time for Europe/NA. Maybe someday rich org like Eleague/ESL will make tier 1/2 event there. It will be great, first time i will see top teams :D i wish

True. CS is not famous in Japan. But beside nintendo games etc, i think league of legends is the famous game there. I can mention too cs/fortnite/pubg cuz i know that we have some professional teams. But as i said, i think league is the most famous there.

I'm not sure if you knew this and it's part of the reason eSports isn't huge in Japan but it's deemed illegal to a certain extent. I forgot what it was but something about making money off of a video game/tournament is seen as gambling. Something like that -- I don't really remember but it came up after Overwatch players were wondering why (talented) Japanese players were not attempting to compete internationally. Hope this helps :)

Kinda. When anyone sells a game in Japan and then makes a big gaming tournament it is seen as illegal promotion for selling the game. But iirc they changed that law for esports.
