How much do casters make?
United States dith
Out of curiosity, for a bigger tournament, in example someone like Moses, Thorin, HenryG. How much do they make for that tournament? Or how much salary. Wonder if travel/hotel fees are part of the deal too.

so then just don't respond
2018-10-22 23:26
if no1 responds no1 sees the thread, both ways suck
2018-10-22 23:27
So then don't ask. What you are doing is similar to going to a group of five year olds and asking them how many people live on the earth. Then telling them not to respond when they give a dumb answer. If you ask a question like this on hltv to people who obviously don't know what kind of response do you expect? A post like this is an invitation for dumb comments and baiters.

Casters of tier 1 tournaments make in the range of $2,000-$3,000 per day of the tournament, with all travel and accommodations included. Analysts make slightly less at the $1,500-$2,000 range with the hosts topping the list at a usual $3,000 per day with large tourneys (major) paying upwards of $5,000. Hosts get paid a significant portion more because they have much more responsibilities than the analysts and are in some essence the face of the tourney and the TO. These numbers can be different for some people who work for the TOs, i.e. James Bardolph, who works on salary but does also receive a wage for large tourneys. Sometimes talent will sign short term contracts with TO's which guarantee work and provide a signing bonus. I have no idea what im talking about. Talent definitely make a livable wage and get to travel all over the world for free but they aren't raking in millions of dollars or anything. As esports moves forward, im sure the pay will go up, and we will probably see more long term contracts with big name talents.

Mr word.exe should start streaming on twitch now. He will get alot of hate but also a lot of viewers. If i were him I'd take this opportunity to build viewers
