PC is ass
Switzerland ElTreezy
Hello guys, so I was spending my time how I usually do. With gaming. I was playing FIFA 19 when my PC crashed. After it crashed it didn't start anymore. I asked on hltv already and they told me it's because of the power supply that it might be broken. I bought myself a new power supply but it still didn't work. I dont know what to do anymore can you help me maybe? The PC doesn't start at all and it's not the power supply! Thank you in advance and I wish you a pleasant week. Greetings, ElTreezy

do a CMOS reset.
2018-10-24 10:15
thanks man I will try today
2018-10-24 10:18
I'd start by testing the parts I can somewhere else. RAM stick by stick and such before. Start from the most essential part you can. If the easily testable parts don't reveal the problem, you're basically looking at a mobo or CPU issue most likely. :p Then, if you wish, you can continue the quest of finding what's broken but more likely you're better off just upgrading if the parts aren't quite new/under warranty. Things like does it spin the CPU fan or the case fans when you try to boot it? If they do spin does it go to high RPM and stay there until you shut it? Does it beep in some non-regular way? Usually if it doesn't go to even BIOS flash you're looking at one or more of four possible problems: faulty GPU, faulty CPU, faulty RAM or faulty MOBO.

ok I will try to :D

2018-10-24 10:19
Why I bought it, it still didn't work and then I gave it back and got my money? So no money lost only 1h of my life

Which equals a certain amount of money you could've earned by doing XYZ. So you indeed lost money.

Describe ur problem a little more detailled please. After a CMOS-reset, when you try to turn it up: - does it make a sound? - do fans work? - are lights on the mainboard on, is there an error code? I know that souns stupid, but are other electrical devices working on the plug, and is the pc working on another plug (just in case the PC does't do anything from above!) Worked at companies which sold hardware, built PCs and did support. Really wanna help you :)
2018-10-24 10:35
So I haven't done the CMOS-reset but I can tell you that right now there's nothing not even a sound

Maybe that is the reason why they told you the power supply is broken - because that is the main reason. Did you try the plug-advice? Please also do the advice at #33 - if you have a beeper on your mainboard try that without RAM and listen if the beep code for no RAM (should be 4x long if I remember right) sound up.

Any combination of beeps when you start it up?
2018-10-24 10:38

Just disconnect everything from the motherboard accept one stick of RAM and keyboard. Plug in the display cable to an onboard graphics card and try to switch it on. Every PC needs memory and input device to get over bios init. If the pc does not start in the aforementioned configuration, you can try to change the RAM stick or buy a new one to test it. If nothing will work, your motherboard is dead.
2018-10-24 10:52
okay dude thank you very much
2018-10-24 12:14
Ok Jonathan E alt.
2018-10-24 10:55
Try removing you RAM blocks 1 by 1 if you have more than one. Often they are damaged and the comp wont start if they are.
2018-10-24 11:16
Ok I will try! Thanks man! <3

don't buy things just because hltv says so lol. Power supply is one of many things that could have went wrong. Of course it's the most likely scenario that comes to mind, but why buy it before you know for sure. Bring pc to the shop and they'll figure it out. Then google what can be possible reasons for that so that they won't rip you off if warranty is already expired.

The power supply mate? who the fuck told you that?
2018-11-12 12:01
if a pc doesn't power up it's mostly because of a faulty PSU.

You gotta check yourself before you rekt yourself
2018-11-13 18:56
Go to a shop that repairs computers. Let them check the parts. If you have no clue about it it's pointless to spend countless of hours into something where you don't even know what you're doing.

If your power supply wasn't good enough for your specs, it might have damaged some component or more. What are your specs and how much was the W of your Old power supply?
2018-11-12 15:16
Maybe is the motherboard. Better you send the PC to specialist to identify the problem. If a specialist is more expensive than a PC, buy another pc
2018-11-12 18:50
play console games like fifa on a console gaymer
2018-11-12 18:51
my friend you have THE EXACTLY SAME PROBLEM as I was having. I thought it was the power supply, but the keyboard leds were on? I tried several things like removing it all and placing it again, it once turned on, they i stopped using it, it turned off and never went on again. I also play fifa 19 :D PROBLEM: i believe its the pc housing, mine's old, so it may affect the motherboard, i thing motherboard is fuked because of the housing. idk. I'll try to get it working without the housing. ] Do u have any feedback yet ?
2018-11-13 14:16
Why would u play fifa on pc
2018-11-13 14:18
