People that associate traps with Asia don't know shit. Traps are common in Thailand solely, where they are on every corner. Didn't come across a single trap in Vietnam, Laos (here there are some near the border of Thailand where they come to party every weekend) or Cambodia and I spent 7 months in those countries.

Well to be fair, I was never really into Asian girls. I went to South east Asia to backpack and I kinda got the yellow fever when I got there. I never imagined Vietnamese girls to be that attractive. The student girl that I met there on Badoo, she kinda became my girlfriend. I stayed in Hanoi for 4 months with her and she never was interested in any kind of money. When we went out for dinner, she insisted she paid every penny of her food. When we got some drinks, she never wanted me to pay anything for her. She was just a really sweet, genuine and curious girl.

Vietnam is amazing. Shouldn't go there for the beaches or the islands but the nature and scenery is breathtaking. Same for the food, the people and the women. Also perfect to travel because the shape of the country, it's ideal to travel from south to north and see basically the whole country (in about 4 weeks). My highlights of Vietnam were Ha Giang, Ninh Binh and Cat Ba island if you wanna google some pictures and get an idea.

man only the upper social class like politicians and doctors get much, and that's like 3% of all the people randoms don't get that much, a fireman or a policeman get 2k month at most, even the people who own shops don't make too much a month. and obviously without taxes, because if you have like 1.000$ per month and taxed you get like 650$ or 700$ :( the money in your hand should be 1.5k
2018-10-28 13:44
that can't be true, at least in germany my dad works at some factory and he is doing easy job there and getting around 3.5k euro per month and meanwhile my sister working as a head designer in Tandem (it's an app google it) and she is getting more than 6k euro per month you don't need to be politician or doctor to get good salary, in germany at least no idea what about other countries

u are on drugs for sure 1k eur in hungary is decent, not too good. Anyone with a fresh degree (a decent one) makes 1k @ Budapest atleast. But I'd say the avarage without a uni degree makes around 700-800€ a month. Germany/UK/Benelux states - the avarage wage is around 2-3k a month, my brother used to live in the netherlands for 8 years and he made around 2-2,5k, as construction worker. So I'd say, 25k a year is good in Hungary and eastern countries, but 50k a year is good/great/amazing almost everywhere (maybe expect Norway, Switzerland, Luxemburg)

Yes but for really rich coimpany owners etc, the there is a "fortune tax" which means they may need to pay in total up to 60% tax. If you are a kid with a youth company or doing summer jobs, the tax is very low. The tax is also lower for retired people but otherwise 33% is the number for most people working a normal job.

Minimum wages in Denmark is $2.813 a month or $33.763 a year when working. When you are in school (University or College) you only get around $1.000 a month. But in average a danish citizen earns roughly $47.500 a year.

in norway $20k is almost poor things are too expensive to live on a regular american salary on a summerjob with a youth salary i make almost $30k pr month
2018-10-29 10:58
15k-20k is not at all good in the US. I don't live in a big city or a big State and I can tell that 15k-20k is a very good McDonalds salary. If you want to actually live a successful life you need 30k$+ a year. Even that is a bit low. But either way it is still good
2018-10-29 11:13
a good life salary in norway is 60k + parents make over 100k a month each so im set
2018-10-29 11:14
Yeah a solid good Salary would be like 40k + here not many would complain A very good salary is about 60k+ but that is rare in my area. Where do you live in Norway? I know cost of living is high and probably very high compared to my area because we aren't near any big cities.
2018-10-29 11:21
i live in Lofoten. Properties, Houses and apartments are notably cheaper here then in Oslo for example, but general price for consumers items are the same across the country so to live a relative good life anywhere in the country, you'll probably need 50-60k atleast, but it would still take your entire life to pay of loans and mortages with this salary
2018-10-29 12:27
damn so your 60k is like our 20-30k Okay Have a nice day
2018-10-29 20:00
how much is the rent in Lofoten? I live on a remote island 2h from tromsö, a house here for 4 people is 12k nok a month, an apartment 5500nok/month. I find that pretty cheap tbh even outside of norway

Unless you are fakeflagging u know just as well as me, that you can't talk about salary AFTER taxes, since every single person gets a different percentage. So in Denmark, when talking about salary, its ALWAYS BEFORE taxes. (Unless of course you are an uneducated moron who doesnt know about economics).

How does it look like in NL? I mean for an example, if you had earned around 2k e/mo, how would your life look like? Costs of renting, living etc. (As an example, we can choose Amsterdam).

2k month in amsterdam is nothing. Rent alone is 1500 euro a month for 50m2. So if you make 2k a month in amsterdam, youd better be sharing an appartment. (renting a room can cost up to 900 euro a month)

I know we have high salary, but its also expensive to live here. I have two kids and a wife, and we use about 700-800$ a month on food only. My wife and I make together 107 700$ a year after taxes. And with that we get by, but cant afford any big holidays or a sick fancy car.. So yeah, we have high salaries but its a expensive country. And I'm an electrician and she is a nurse.

I earn around 1500 euros a month (only work 25 hours a week/5 hours a day) and I come by every month perfectly fine. Live in the center of one of the biggest cities too (Gent). 500 for my appartment monthly + 150 costs, means I have around 850 euros left to live off in a month. I even have enough money left at the end of the month to put a few hundreds on my savings too.
2018-10-29 11:03
If it was for a house of descent size u wouldn't be able to my friend. Now i will say that apartments are cheaper then houses depending on size and sounds like u got a hell of a bargain there since its in Gent but most of the people who are paying off a house can't live off just 1500 euro's unless they go work with both people.

"114k/year is decent" Average monthly earnings in Finnland is 2900 euros. That adds up to 34800euros a year. How can you in any sane state of mind come with a suggestion that 114k is decent when the average earnings per year are 30% of that. Know your fact before you start something you don't know shit about.

I have rented an apartment in a small village - approx. 1400 villagers. I pay 1085USD per month for 100 square meters with a little private garden and a garage. In the rent, water usage is included. Further more I pay 450USD every 3rd month for electricity and heat(there is solar panels on the roof, so this deviates a little bit over the year - depends on how much the sun is shining ofc.)

Go on class 1 driver then :) 3k+/- pounds both categories investment (if u pass both 1st time of course) , then if u dont even want to work hard u can easy earn 600-700 a week , by working 3-4 days a week , and because of a lack of drivers u'll also have a HUGEEEEE range of jobs offers and ez to pick 1 that suits You.

boring job takes a lot of your time not for me
2018-10-29 12:09
True , i forget to add that u have to like it , otherwise u probably won't last long doing it. Anyway UK is a country of possibilites , even for immigrants like me , as i started to work as a warehouse operative ,then climbing slowly from forklift to class2 and then class 1 driver (all these licences i made in UK) doing my pilot licence now ( im not in the uk anymore),however the only thing u need is willing to work hard for some time and being ready to sacrifice urself . If u pass these 2 criterias it is very easy to make ez above minimum wage in UK especially being Brit , that's why i was like WTF when u posted 18k a year is good enough.

Im not older than 18 so I dont know exactly, but life in Spain is not too expensive. I think 20k-25k€ is like a normal salary, u won't be rich but you won't lack of things. 36k€ is a good salary, you will often be able to afford some travells and vacations.

From my perspective in first world (in my case germany) you need atleast about 2000-2500€ after taxes to live good. If you live in an apartment its about 500€, if you own a car, about 150 € monthly with insurances and fuel. Then you have a phone, maybe internet its about 70 €, than lets say you need 200€ monthly on supplies ... At the end you still be about 1k+ for you. So i guess 25k-30k a year is good. But if you have kids or a gf ... good luck.
2018-10-29 13:03
in france, approximately 2k per month is fine

It really depends on the size of the family or if you're alone. With a family I can't really tell but if you're alone, gaining 1000€ per month should be fine By the way: nice thread mate!

anything above 700e as a base salary is already good . Ofc if you have a university degree and work in your field you shouldn't get paid less then 800e. I wish i was getting any of those, but 650e is all i get per month as of right now and i can live on my own without many worries, tho rents are getting expensive af and ofc prices of stuff will always keep getting higher
2018-10-29 13:28
Agreed. And same, lmao I wish was making 1000€ per month

For me when i live alone, 5k zloty will be enough, but 15k zloty (3500 euro) will be better and enough to live at high level(travel, good food, gadgets, apartment, party).
2018-10-29 15:03
500k SEK a year or more is pretty good
2018-10-29 15:03
depends on the lifestyle, for me 1k a week would be more than i could spend if i was earning that much, but for others i know have a tough time getting by on 3-4k a week
2018-10-29 15:31
1k a week? what are u smokin or sniffing.
2018-10-29 16:46
lol, just not a crazy spender like most people nowadays and if i buy a house it will be a "tiny house" sort of thing if you have heard of those, very cheap vs standard homes
2018-10-29 17:13
It varies by where you live and lifestyle. Whether you have kids and wife to support or are single etc. For example I make 90k USD annual salary (after taxes I get about 6k a month), live in the Bay Area California, alone, rent a room in a two bedroom for 900 dollars. The median household income is a bit over 80k (though I feel it is probably higher). I have an older car and a motorcycle, both of which I paid cash for a few years back. I live alright off of that and I can go out and do stuff but I'm able to do that because I don't have the car payments, loans, and rent a room rather than have my own studio or one bedroom. I'd like to earn more obviously and hopefully in three years or so I can move up to a position where I am making 108-120k annually.

If you are from Belgium, the median GROSS salary is around 3000€ / month. If you are above that, it means that you earn more than 50% of the other employees in Belgium so I guess it can be considered as a good salary. But if you are just starting your career, it's totally normal to be below that. You shouldn't turn down a job because it's below. What's important is to have a growth potential in a company. You can see more data here : bestat.statbel.fgov.be/bestat/crosstable.. You can filter the year (take 2016 as it's the last with data) and the region you are working, and see what's the average salary or median salary for each bracket of year of experience. I would recommend to use the median and not the average as the top CEOs dragging the average higher.
2018-10-30 11:37
depends on what place you live in? In Ukraine guy with 1000$ salary is pretty rich guy :D In Belgium 2k would be low
2018-10-30 13:17
30k euro
