+1 i've just spent a week reading reviews on amazon and other websites ss, razer, roccat, etc suck (i loved them, but now quality is garbage) after my razer imperator 4g died, i bought a cheap logitech g mouse (g302) and i loved it a lot recently ordered logitech g502 hero, it has perfect reviews, i received it yesterday according to my experience with g302, i would recommend u to buy any logitech g series that suits u (the only brand i've never tried is zowie)

Mousewheel is utter fucking garbage innit Use it twice and it breaks, scrolls whenever you dont want it to Build quality of the other parts is sturdy though.

I had it replaced 4 times in a span of a year. I'm current on the Logitech g pro wireless which is good so far, haven't had any problems with it. If you're a student you can get 25% off
2018-11-08 17:55
Yeah I'm think about that one but it's hard to justify spending like $40+ more dollars than most other mice, especially because I don't really care about the wireless aspect
2018-11-08 22:46
Your G403 must've really fucking sucked lol I had that mouse for 1 year and had 0 problems on it luL
2018-11-08 22:55
I'm assuming you reccomend it then?
2018-11-08 22:59
Its a 50/50 shape. You like it or you dont.

The shape is awful man. I have no complaints other than the shape. If you can go to store and grip one before you buy, I'd go that route.

+1 bought Deathadder and Mamba because of recommendation and they were dog shit, barely lasted 2 years.
2018-11-08 22:59
Yea ive bought deathadder and after a year it started to double click, gave razer a second chance and i have a mamba now for like 9months and its sometimes doesnt move at all for few seconds. Piece of shit

Yeah i had the exact same problem with my deathadder and mamba just stopped tracking my mouse movements all together
2018-11-09 00:03
Good to know that not only me complain about razer quality on the other hand keyboard works perfect
2018-11-09 08:10
same here my razer imperator started to double click (a year ago i bought cheap logitech g302 and it's perfect and recently bought logitech g502 havent tried yet) and my friend had a razer mamba (chroma i believe) and it doesnt track movements pretty often after a year (he bought g403 now)
2018-11-09 21:00
My friend is testing gaming gear for a living and because of it I used like 100 mouses in last 3 years. Still finalmouse beats them all. I love everything about this mouse.
2018-11-08 08:12
no ergonomic options at all, damn. Any other favorites at all?
2018-11-08 08:14
Rival 600. But those are my favourites so not sure if You gonna like em.
2018-11-08 09:16
Razer deathadder elite
2018-11-08 08:20
Assuming you use that mouse, what made you choose that over the others?

If you are using rival 300 for a long time i suggest to buy a new rival 300. Had that mouse for 3 years and i tell you mate i tried 4 different mouses and nothing feels good on my hands anymore. Wasted so much money then i gave up and went back on rival 300. This mouse size shape is perfect for my medium size hand.
2018-11-08 08:35
I think I have pretty big hands but the rival worked pretty well for me. Have you tried to 310 yet?

Yes i did and didnt work out well. Even if the 310 was closer to my hand size it just didnt fit as good as the 300. It doesnt feel right if you know what i mean.

If you have small to medium hands, I would get the zowie fk2, great mouse. It's plug-in n play, easy to use and has a really nice grip, especially if you play with a claw grip. Also the mouse is very light, overall the mouse is 10/10, imo

Zowie sucks hard, get new steelseries or logitech one. If razer go for deathadder elite.
2018-11-08 08:48
What makes you dislike zowie? I've never used one personally but I've only heard good things about it for years now, all the way back from when they sponsored flash in bw
2018-11-08 22:37
hes just talking bs. Zowie has top shapes and a lot of small comfort grooves
2018-11-08 22:46
Yeah I've never heard anyone talk bad about that brand lmao
2018-11-08 23:20
yeah zowie is nice
2018-11-09 08:40
I used ec2-a for 2 years, the time I spent with "this" was probably the worst. The plastic was not as good as you think when your hand was sweating and it got double click. Generally shape wasn't that bad but i prefer symmetric mouses (wanted to try something new). I felt that I had to change the sliders every six months, because I either applied them badly, either there was something bad with "consuming" them by mouse and half of them was used. The buttons on the side after some time are strangely pressing.
2018-11-09 09:50
Just buy a rival 310, basically rival 300 but better sensor, less weight etc
2018-11-08 08:48
That is my plan atm but definitely open to changing

No dude it is not rival 300 with a new sensor , trust me. Its not that big , the height is not the same , weight is a big factor when it comes to mouse and it feels weird compared to the 300.
2018-11-09 08:42
Less weight isn't always beter, I don't like to lighte mouses because i need to have something in my hand.

I recommend a Zowie or a Logitech, i have been using a Logitech G502 for more than 2 years and it seems to be the same, now that my Logitech is old i will change it for a Zowie EC2-B which is arriving in friday.

Hi man, I run a xtryfy XG-M2. Quite similar to the Rival 3oo but i bit flatter and a tiny bit broader. I recommend it but i would say that the best bet is to test out a few befor buying them :)

i got the 310, thanks boys
2018-11-09 19:57
so your shittyly built overpriced steelseries mouse breaks and you reward them for that by buying the next one which will probably break even faster.
2018-11-09 20:17
my rival had like 2000 hours of cs + 1000 hours of other games but okay
2018-11-09 20:23
3k hours is not great, i would wear through that mouse in less than the warranty. i have had the same mouse for like 8 years now. mad catz rat 7. for example instead of cheap plastic clickiy thingies inthe buttons, good mice have tin clickers that dont break. there are plenty of brands that dont sell cheap plastic mice for a lot of money.
2018-11-09 20:31
my rat broke in a year haha
2018-11-09 20:34
oh xd bad luck i guess. or i had good luck. the only complaint i have is that the feet wore out quickly but those are replaceable
2018-11-09 20:36
i had so many problems with it, even before it finally died. switched to steelseries and havent looked back since. im not a loyalist to them or anything, hence the thread, but I do like them. I almost bought a zowie or a logitech multiple times before i decided on the 310

I love my g403, But the shape isn't for everyone.
2018-11-09 20:01
avoid mice with shit build quality like razer or steelseries. after that it depends on your hands size and shape and how you like to play. go to a store and try some mice.
2018-11-09 20:16
1. Asking here is completely pointless 2. Mouse choice is very individual. 3. Go to some store and find one that fits you hand. 4. I can recommend you G403/Pro, but that's because I've been a massive fan of Logitech's mice since the MX518.
2018-11-09 20:18
not pointless, i wanted a discussion about mice and i got that.
2018-11-09 20:23
My reasoning for calling it pointless, is because generally these forums have been terrible for asking any serious questions. At least that has been my perception for the past 4 years. Reason being, is that you just end up with a bunch of people trying to troll, flame, etc. But, yeah, I would recommend you the G403. Maybe try the new Rival 600?
2018-11-09 20:31
Oh wow, no shit.. I mentioned the MX518 myself more or less as a 'joke', but it's been the #1 favourite in my memory, sadly it died on me of natural causes (I think throwing mice/keyboards and smashing monitors is for idiots). Now I have a Razer DA2013 and though I regret having it, I'm still gonna play with it 'til it dies completely.. The thing is very finnnicky 'cus mouse1 is already broken and the rubber sides are loose, and again, I'm not the type of person to throw around their equipment, so that really makes this one a bad product. MX518 all the way.
2018-11-09 20:25
Yeah, that mouse just seemed to last. It's like the Nokia 3310 of mice :D When it comes to the G400, G400S and the G402 however, they had some serious cable problems. I've had so many of them just having "connection problems" because of the cable. Now, I did have to "refund" my G403 as the m1 button either stopped reacting or it would generate multiple clicks, which was a huge pain. But, my second one has lasted me for about a year now.
2018-11-09 20:36
I was dumb enough 'upgrade' to the M5 back then, huge mistake, the lift-distance was messed up, every time you swipe and lift your mouse the cursor fidgets when you place it back down, it's a minor nuissance 'cus rarely will it be responsible for getting killed or whatever, but a nuissance nonetheless, one the MX518 didn't have. The only difference was the MX518 being an optical sensor, the M5 used a laser sensor... Oh, and they removed the page-forward button on the M5 'cus what the fuck. I hear Zowie mice are great too, unfortunately I still have my DA2013 so best to just use it 'til it's fucked, but I might try one of theirs when this one passes away.
2018-11-09 20:41
Logitech MX518, find one, and you have gold.
2018-11-09 20:22
used this guy back in the day, fantastic mouse for its time. Does the sensor stand up to modern sensors?
