You're partly right that AC/DC and Deep Purple are mostly considered hard rock. However, judging by your attitude I guess, you have basic knowledge of the topic and think band is "more metal" if the guitars are louder, and the vocalist screams like a burning moron :D
2018-11-08 20:26
The only metal there is iron
2018-11-08 22:36
bait? black sabbath is the definition of metal deep purple and rainbow invented the early metal sounds with machine head, burn, rising and etc

CIS Luchbm
thanks, bro. yes, Behexen is sick af, especially their latest record "The Poisonous Path" - one of my fav albums of all time, that's just the highest possible level of darkness and the lyrics is really dark, mystical, satanic and occult as well. youtube.com/watch?v=fUsxlFyu3d4 - this is another great one, from the previous record "Nighside Emanations".
2018-11-08 20:41
holy fuck i didnt know there were actually people on the planet that thought the later nile albums were at all tolerable imo that band died in 2009, which is a crying a shame bcs literally all of their stuff before that is like the epitome of death metal.

2018-11-08 19:59
Funny enough i was just wathcing his video's lol.
2018-11-08 20:01
i only talked to him on yt. He responded to a comment i made lol. I almost fell out of my chair. he is such an obscure figure
2018-11-08 20:02
Yeah but anyways be careful wathcing his video's i think he is pretty psycohpathic, i spotted him lying about things many times and also his past has to tell a lot but jesus still i enjoy wathcing his videos.
2018-11-08 20:05
i called him out on some things in my comment. I am very left wing personally so i'm always prepared for his agenda and lies. He made some interesting point tho, so i made a comment anyway. Would never actually support him tbh.
2018-11-08 20:06
Yeah he also lives in a some like fantasy world and wants everybody else to believe it as well which is one of the symptoms i guess, he has big crowd of supporters tho.
2018-11-08 20:08
Yeah his supporters might actually be worse than him sometimes. You can find the occasional "HEIL HITLERS" (highly upvoted) comments very easily. Oh and well, he is an obvious anti semite. It's quite blatant
2018-11-08 20:11
Well it's time for us to bring ancient pagan ways of living.

August Burns Red In Hearts Wake Architects Counterparts Being as an Ocean (1st and 2nd record) It Prevails (so underrated, but one of the bests)
2018-11-08 19:38
It Prevails man. Used to like them a lot back when i was into melodic hardcore and stuff. also went toCounterparts and In Hearts Wake shows in 2012. BAAO too. But never touched em since then tbh. Good list tho
2018-11-08 19:44
Never thought someone would know It Prevails here, I love them so much, but I switched to german rap meanwhile
2018-11-08 19:45
Inspiration and Capture&Embrace were catchy records tbh. But yeah i kind of grew out of it too. Went back to other Hardcore bands and completely different genres overall eventually. I still go to shows when i get the chance.
2018-11-08 19:48
yea I totally agree! well, can you recommend some?
2018-11-08 19:59
Other Hardcore bands ?
2018-11-08 20:00
yeah, but more melodic hardcore then just hardcore (nothing like desolated or so please) :D
2018-11-08 20:04
hahahah desolated. the goold old days. Okay i got some melodic hc, rather old school: Have Heart Carpathian Verse Modern Life is War Bane Ceremony Ignite Break Even Blacklisted Here are some more traditional and catchy bands that i used to enjoy: Down to Nothing Weekend Nachos (rather heavy and crazy vocals) Punch (rather heavy and crazy vocals) Rotting Out Trash Talk Backtrack Turnstile Reign Supreme Incendiary
2018-11-08 20:10
aight, I saved them in an editor file, will listen to some of them when I find the time, thx :)

+1 Soilwork, Persefone, Ne Obliviscaris and Infant Annihilator are great. Do u know Aversions Crown ?
2018-11-08 20:37
yup i do, can’t believe i forgot about them; was just ear raping their Xenocide cd 2 days ago haha album is intense they’re easily in my top 10. fucking any aussie metal band for that matter, they got some good ass metal coming out there. if you have a minute check out Hollow Prophet has Dickie Allen doing guest vox youtu.be/P4z8FO6Tzk0
2018-11-08 21:13
Holy shit this is insane! Added to my list.. Btw here's another sick Aussie band for you: youtube.com/watch?v=GrcHN7Xc4yE whole album is awesome. I have like 5 Australian bands in my top15 lmao
2018-11-08 21:17
dude Hollow World is totally up my alley, added to my YouTube list of tunes \m/ - gotta find the album now, add to my CD Bible
2018-11-08 21:21
Glad u liked it, do u have any recommendations ? I listen to every genre (except glam) and i need some new bands to listen to nowadays.
2018-11-08 21:25
are you more into melodic death metal, technical, core? i get people tell me all the time “i listen to everything” haha. I have a couple grind bands but they’re more on the death metal/speed side rather than straight core. i can send you all kinds of bands
2018-11-08 22:09
Yeah if it's melodeath, prog, technical or core (mostly deathcore) then i like it mostly. I'm more into technical stuff right now, especially technical deathcore.
2018-11-08 22:34
here's some options for core stuff: youtube.com/watch?v=NxLYJJnlGs8 youtube.com/watch?v=rtFyzlU2qYE youtube.com/watch?v=KD9JB0AqCEA lmk if I'm going in the right direction m8
2018-11-09 03:02
I don't like Fit For An Autopsy that much, the song you linked is kinda meh but other two are great songs, especially the last one... Holy shit, that sounds killer... Thanks for the recommendations. Btw what do u think about this band, they are from Turkey, a local underground band. I'm trying to share it everywhere that i can, maybe you'll like them. They are folk/power death metal. youtube.com/watch?v=L8kn6y5pII4 youtube.com/watch?v=FqVF24A6Uzk
2018-11-09 09:16
damn I'm digging Sabhankra... liked and added to my list; let the underground bands reign supreme \m/ If you liked Before I Turn you'd probably like Altered Perceptions.... youtube.com/watch?v=LfgUCo-jknM Overpopulated Filth is another good song too by them
2018-11-09 22:49
Sounds sick, added to the list. Thanks.

Judas priest, Slipknot, Amon Amarth, Dying Fetus, Soulfly, Rammstein, Slayer, Godsmack and Mudvayne are amongst my favorites. There are a lot of others that I also listen to.
2018-11-10 14:30
Generally speaking i think music changes for the worse once bands start working super seriously, i prefer live music from nonamers near my area, there is something "real" about it when people are playing just for the hell of it rather than making their living from it. But when it comes to big names: Rammstein - Industrial pioneers who really get the crowd going on live Devin Townsend project/band & strapping young lad - Keeps his stuff fresh Behemoth - Another liveband, has been busy in youtube for past 3 months or some such Mgla - "new messiah" of black metal, i still enjoy old warhorses more such as mayhem or emperor. Alestorm - Good drinking / jolly times music Amon amarth - Manly to the point of silliness, i love it. Tool / A perfect circle - JMK is amongst the best when it comes to metal lyrics. Great basslines too. Paradise lost - Gloomy and depressing, there is something about this and shitty finnish weather. Dark tranquility - The most relevant one of the "göteburg bands" And tons of others but i dont want to drown the readers. Mercyful fate, Arch enemy, Gojira, Hanoi rocks, Rishloo, Katatonia, Amorphis, Death, Alcest, Motörhead, Accept, Helloween, Slayer, Rage, Bathory..
