soloq to global
Netherlands AntiGrease
just reached global from gn1 soloq only, after 700 hours and 160 wins. did i do the impossible? also, what rank/hours are you currently? feel free to ask anything about my soloq experience/tips theres a screenshot on my profile steamcommunity.com/id/xxl_frikandel69/

2018-11-09 12:08
lmao gg.
2018-11-09 12:11
doesnt matter, wasnt being toxic, just that u obviously have more hours than u said because of ur smurf.
2018-11-09 12:20
oops clicked the wrong thing. my bad
2018-11-09 12:20
only have 30 or so hours on my smurf, where i only fucked around in mm and didnt play 10% of what i normally play when im playing serious if i had like 150+ hours on my smurf and played serious every single game and stuff, i wouldve obviously counted that in my total ;)

Congrats its not ez to soloq, so many trolls and players with a „bad day”... Never have been on low ranks cause if you win the first 10 games you get instat le rank, i cant remember how many wins i had when i got first ge rank, something same as you

u can get to lem with first 10, and rankup to supreme if u win next atleast u could in 2015
2018-11-09 11:57
Yes probably you’re right i just don’t remember
2018-11-09 12:02
I was completely new to CS when i started playing and got put at GN1, but yeah if youre good enough and win every match its very likely to get put at DMG-LEM
2018-11-09 12:05
i was trash when i started and trash now but i got put in like mg2 or mge after first 10 games. you are global so fast from gold 1 level...? idk man. did you threw some qualifying games or something. did you play a lot of 1.6 or css?
2018-11-09 18:08
for most of my placement matches i was playing with 5 man friend stacks (probably also one of the only games that ive played with friends), and they all were unranked as well or mg1 max with gn2's and 1's as well, so yeah i basically played on a gn2 level for all of my placement matches and thats where i got my first rank from on my smurf which i made after around 125 hours of playtime i got placed at DMG without even trying that hard (all soloq)
2018-11-09 18:20
ok that would explain how a person with 2 hands ends up in gn1 :)
2018-11-09 18:21
oof the shots
2018-11-09 18:22
my brother got deranked to silver 1 because he didnt play for like 2 years. i played a game on his pc when i was there recently. terrible wifi connection. teleporting all over the place. drinking some beers. they couldnt hit me. died 0 times. it was hilarious. like those ppl are playing with a straw in their mouth instead of mouse and keyboard. i wouldnt like to have a smurf account though i would feel bad for people. it was just funny once.

Not worth it lol it's possible but its so fucking cancer I did it once but then dropped down to 1700 and since than I have only played with full stack and the game is just 10 times more fun
2018-11-09 12:01
if youre skilled enough, its easy i agree but if youre not, it can be hard sometimes
2018-11-09 12:09
wtf are you talking about no amount of skill can overcome a guy throwing the bomb out mid and then proceeding to teamflash and block and ghost because he wants to troll around and lose the game. And this happens SO often in soloq it's insane

I agree - you can defeat the enemy - it's your own team that is the issue. You queue up join the game and lose the pistol round by one player after getting a 4k. Then a guy quits and another goes afk for 3 rounds. So you end up throwing a 36k and LOSE 14-16 playing mostly with 3 players. That is soloq. The next match you get a guy who is bottom fragging and yet telling you how to play every exchange and gets toxic when you do it your way and win. You end up blocking him, he starts griefing and leaves after 10 rounds. You again throw a 30k and lose 13-16. Yes, this happened to me in back-to-back matches in soloq. So congratz on getting through hell to get there!
2018-11-09 17:37
what i like most is the guys who run out alone on the wrong bombside or mid with no call and then call you toxic and mute if you ask them to call where they want to rush. you cant do anything about it. theyre just going to win or lose the game 1v5.
2018-11-09 18:10
i think thats more of a random aspect of soloq'ing than anything ofcourse i had the occassional throwers in there as well, but ive only met a couple of them in around 250 games, so for me they werent as common as for you fortunately
2018-11-09 18:23
technically you could say the opponent team has the same issues and has toxic players as well. Except that if you soloq, most of the time you play with other solos or duos against premades so naturally they're less toxic to each other and dont throw as much reaching high elo in soloqueue is pure luck of the draw depending on how retarded your teammates are. Your influence on the final outcome is miniscule

I agree - glad the original poster got some good teams.
2018-11-09 20:51
well the op was talking about global, not faceit elo. And lets be real nowadays in matchmaking its easy to 30 bomb every game and clutch 3-4 times in games to hardcarry yourself to global but in faceit level 8+ where opponents start to actually give a fight, not so much

GE in 2014 after 200 hrs and 33 wins, stopped playing MM afterwards... game became booring now just playing when new content is delivered in cs:go.. new maps.. etc
2018-11-09 11:58
I was completely new to CS and PC fps in general, used to play OSRS for a bit and cod on the PS4, so yeah im satisfied with my 700 hours playtime, but nice one ;)
2018-11-09 11:59
Word.exe ofcoz.. Global games is unplayable nowadays but when i play faceit its easy coz of faceit client
2018-11-09 12:36
Havent played a full global game yet, but ive met a lot of cheaters in supreme/lem Im not cheating myself btw
2018-11-09 12:46
Ye im supreme and i cant get further cause there is Always this one Guy in the enemy Team that Just knows everything ;)
2018-11-09 13:54
Same for me. I've been global 4 times before but I've been stuck in supreme for like a month now, the number of cheaters at this rank has never been so high imo.
2018-11-09 17:06
Feels Like it sadly
2018-11-09 18:04
1500 hours dmg right now i was already LE but i got deranked Most of the times i play with 2-3 mates but we still cant win because they only play for frags no teamwork, bad calls, stupid pushes etc. should I also try soloq?

One of friends has a lower trust factor that explains it
2018-11-09 13:05
I mean if those 2/3 friends are better than the average teammate at your rank you should stick with them, if not i’d recommend to play solo only If your trust factor is shit, good luck getting good teammates LEM was by far the worst for me, literally cheaters left right and center (new accounts with prime, low hours, etc etc), what rank are you at right now?
2018-11-09 12:03
I dont think they are better than the average teammates in terms of teamplay only in terms of skill. Im DMG right now
2018-11-09 12:07
DMG is hard its full of people who can aim but their gamesense isn't up there yet if you're down to soloq, make sure to find patterns in the enemy's behaviour. people at that rank try to do stuff that works over and over again, and they usually don't have protocols on what to do when certain things don't go their way. once you find a certain pattern, make sure to abuse it and make your teammates aware of what they're doing all the time i can recommend you to watch any of Jordan "n0thing" Gilbert's youtube MDL or pugs videos, he basically explains everything he's doing and he's giving a lot of setups and plays for every map in the active duty mappool
2018-11-09 12:15
Thanks for your tips I will try it!
2018-11-09 12:20
Good luck my friend ;)
2018-11-09 12:47
Im in LEM taking a little break i got supreme like a month ago but got deranked because of a cheater. edit: only in solo
2018-11-09 18:25
coz u are legit player..dont be ashamed..LEM and above full of cheaters..8/10 of cheaters included ur teamates, so its a matter of when u are in a team of a more blatant cheater will win a game

Was ge with 500 hours something, now 2k and lem
2018-11-09 11:59
That's pretty good tbh, I got about 950 hours and I'm MG2 atm. Not grinding though, I fuck around too much tbh and played quite a few hours against bots bc I didn't feel like playing competitive or casual.
2018-11-09 12:03
MG ranks were awful with low trust factor, you only get put up against smurfs with prime or people who dont really take the game seriously but are insane
2018-11-09 12:10
Yeah this is my experience indeed, and been seeing a lot of cheaters in the last few weeks for some reason
2018-11-09 12:12
i didnt really come up against cheaters in my road to global, but there were a lot at LEM-supreme, and i literally avoided playing on sundays because thats when it was cheater's haven
2018-11-09 12:21
How was the communication? In an average soloq for me there's at least 2 people not communicating
2018-11-09 12:23
communication was awful, but it was nice to see that there were people in the same situation as me (low trust factor due to hackusations, playing serious to rank up, etc etc) and those people were really nice to play with but in the average game , i met about 2 russians who only speak russian and nothing else, that guy who doesn't communicate at all but has a mic and a rage monster who questions every single thing you do so most of the times i ended up muting everyone who was useless in communicating and just playing by myself, theres nothing more i couldve done anyways
2018-11-09 12:28
This sounds so familiar lol especially the rage monster
2018-11-09 12:29
Some guy a couple of days ago was trying to call the whole game but got mad pretty quickly, we lost that CT side half 3-12 Then on the T side, all this guy did was peek B main, die to an awp, and complain, ended up muting him and was a pretty chill game to a 16-13 win after pistol round loss The other guys were really cool and communicated well, its literally 100x easier when you trust each other’s calls
2018-11-09 12:50
Yeah those people are really annoying indeed. I just try to be friendly, but if they start getting angry I get annoying too lol
2018-11-09 12:52
Thats something i really worked on btw, staying friendly when someone’s getting angry at you (even if its for no reason)

In 2018, Global = level 5 Faceit. But, GZ anyways.
2018-11-09 12:11
I disagree, I've played against a lot of lvl 6-7's on faceit and they are not nearly as good as the globals i play with and against
2018-11-09 12:19
I used to play faceit and lvl5 faceit wasnt so much different in comparsion with 8-9lvl. Realshit begins in high elo 10lvl

lekker pik! I'm currently Supreme and also ranked up from gold nova 4. But I only play like 10 hours every 2 weeks, so I suppose I just lose to much aim to actually progress much beyond this level as I've reached this mostly by improved game sense and positioning/team communication.
2018-11-09 12:12
the further i got in the ranks system the less i could actually beat my enemies with raw aim (still happens on a good day though) id say that someone with average aim but excellent game sense can easily beat supremes by just outplaying them gl on your way to global meneer Gosharu1
2018-11-09 12:17
reaching global in MM is extremely easy soloq or not... Try reaching lvl 10 soloq on faceit, now that's fuck'd up...
2018-11-09 12:14
I mean, for someone who has way better skills it's easy, but for the average player it isn't soloq'ing requires good communication and teamplay, and the randomized factor in matchmaking makes it so that you cannot influence this on your own, and that's where it becomes hard for the average player
2018-11-09 12:18
no need for that much skill as u say, just bait a little, play for trades and try not to entry all the time and it's easy to reach global soloq
2018-11-09 12:28
i must say that that's something that i absolutely utilized while soloq'ing, but i wouldnt say that it makes it easier to rank up, it certainly is more efficient but you need to hit your shots and win rounds at the end of the day with your teammates anyways but yeah like i said, i was quite confident in my abilities to take (trade) fights and clutches, so i baitzera'd my way to global you obviously need a certain skill level to rank up to global, and if thats not there yet it can be a real challenge to rank up, and that's what i ment with the skill needed for the "average player" (in that rank)
2018-11-09 12:33

Why is that trol? What is special about global in cs go?
2018-11-09 12:36
if he can win games with only pistol and scout why not? its a cheap and strong weapon setup. you can buy it almost every round and have money for nades. long range scout is strong and close up you have the deag, you can spam it and 2 shot people to stomach or get headshots if you are good. you just need to be able to tag rifles up with scout and get headshots vs awpers.
2018-11-09 18:17
i mean if youre good enough it can absolutely be possible but if i had to start a new account (with prime) right now im fairly confident that i can reach global rather quickly again too

2018-11-09 12:46
I don't ruin the game, because i can do the stuff with scout and pistol without any problems, in every scenario. I'm not cs go master, far from that. But global is nothing, MM is nothing, simply as that. 90+ % of global players are pure shit, if even that. I have never trolled any game, even with trollers in my team. I'm playing my game, for fun, trying to do best and that is it.

Don't care about them, play your game. When you don't enjoy the game just stop and gg If you play for stats (WIN and so) you're not focused on the game. While you enjoying the game, play, when you feeling overplayed, stop.

First time played this game 1 year ago , i was 1.6 player for so many years. Reached global after 170 hours playing solo.
2018-11-09 12:30
jesus how did you manage to get out of gold nova solo queuing
2018-11-09 12:36
practicing aim mostly the average gold nova cant shoot, cant do recoil control but has more gamesense than the silver its so easy to just run around and shoot people in gold nova, thats literally all it took
2018-11-09 12:38
yeah but communication in the team is pretty much non existent it took me a while to get out of nova and now im stuck in the mg2-dmg ranks
2018-11-09 12:41
Try to work on your gamsense if your aim is decent, half of all the MGs dont know what they’re doing but they can shoot people Find patterns, abuse and ez wins
2018-11-09 12:51
So true though novas and mostly MG cant aim for Shit
2018-11-09 14:16
Shouldve clarified this but i was ‘comparing’ them with nova’s, thats basically the difference between novas and mgs
2018-11-09 14:38
I dont even Feel Like there is much difference between Nova and mg, they get better at mge to DMG at least i Feel Like it dont know havent Been there in a while though
2018-11-09 18:05
try the p90. if enemies are at long range, throw smoke, flash through it, run through, dont stop, just full run and spray guys down. novas cant react, they cant turn from flash or listen for footsteps or track strafing enemies. they only kill people who stand still and even then its hard.
2018-11-09 18:19

its easier for me to rank up solo than premade, dunno why I play more serious when I solo
2018-11-09 14:34
For me it depends with who I play A friend of mine is a decent player as well and we’re always holding bombsites together, but i’ve also played with friends where i just cant focus and lose every battle
2018-11-09 14:40
most of my friends that play are at a much lower level. The ones that had similar skill than me rarely play anymore so I tend to joke more now when Im with them.

I wish I could play MM without getting matched with a god tier player that 360s all the time. Those guys aren’t cheaters though, they just have RGB gaming chairs... but like the entire chair is made out of RGB, thats how much those people are gamers :D We all just need to git gud.

Nice man, I did it with my mate in 2014 can't imagine solo q with a guy force buying every round and saving when we force buy cough cough rusky. Now I only play 1 game/day max since I've been busy and couldn't get past LEM or A+ Esea rip. Also it's not helping with 150ping in mm fuck valve.
