Fnatic most dominant
Ukraine Pham_
Fnatic was the most dominant team ever in csgo. You can't argue with that, they were literally smashing everyone. Astralis is not even close to repeat their dominance. Imagine make a match with best shape Astralis and Fnatic, maaan fnatic would demolish them . +additional video youtube.com/watch?v=wzJzorSDnco

TSM/dignitas won 6/8 series against fnatic with pronax so he wasnt far away from truth
2018-11-10 17:54
Irrelevant series mostly, tsm never got to finals due to choking
2018-11-10 19:19
1st win - 3rd place decider at MLG X Games Aspen = more prize money 2nd win - Upper bracket semifinal at CCS - they went on to win the tournament 3rd win - Grand finals at CCS (the win in the UB semifinal wasnt irrelevant since they started with 1:0 advantage) 4th win - Semifinals at FACEIT stage 1 finals - they went on to win the tournament 5th win - Grand finals at Fragbite S4 Finals 6th win - Upper bracket semifinals at PGL S1 Finals and yet again they went on to win the tournament How are those wins irrelevant?
2018-11-10 19:37
Upperbracket game is irrelevant series along with 3rd place deciders
2018-11-10 19:44
I agree with the 3rd place decider but how is that UB game irrelevant when they got 1:0 advantage in the finals? They could have lost if they didnt have this so how can you call this irrelevant? And btw, you said “MOSTLY irrelevant series”, only 1/6 is irrelevant so sit down. You probably didnt even watch cs properly back then
2018-11-10 20:12
You probably didnt even play cs back then, fool. You cant obly watch the stats you also have to understand why and in which circumstances
2018-11-10 20:24
I played cs back then, fool. Stats? Stats arent even point of this conversation, wtf. You cant back up your “arguments” so you say some bs we didnt even talk about:D Yeah, gj, you are clueless, I proved my points and you have nothing
2018-11-10 22:28
You proved my point when 4 out of the 6 tournaments were irrelevant due to 3rd place deciders upper bracket or a trollish tournament. Litterally only only 1 or 2 big major tournaments
2018-11-11 08:16
I didnt prove any of your points, 1 irrelevant decider and no matter what tournament, they managed to win it thanks to the wins. Those were tournaments with nip, vp, ldlc/envy and so on so those are not trollish tournament. They played against the best, surely it is trollish to play against such a teams (: You are either awfully braindead or just a baiter

he would 100% win atleast 5 majors with current form in 2015 cuz scene then was way lower and he would dominate matches even more nt prokda

yes but he wouldn't have 1.30-1.40 Rating in every event Cause Flusha,Olof,Krimz and JW wouldn't let someone bait them to boost his Rating they won everything with Teamplay and Skill.

TBH this lineup wasn't that crazy, yeah they had 2 of the top 5 players in the world but krimz was only good on this team and JW was average but had his moments Part of why this lineup couldn't beat TSM was that TSM just had more firepower

HAHA - Prime NIP? and Prime NAVI?. Everybody knows the scene is only more competitive now than ever before - as it will be again in 1-2 years. Much more money on CS:GO now than 2015, more organizations, players, coaches push to be a top team. A top 15-20 team today would properly own NIP at their prime today.
2018-11-19 17:15
The scene has definitely gotten bigger, but you are seriously undermining the talent they had in their prime

Excuse me, but how is this higher? Right now most teams are either in slump or just bad. FaZe was almost dead just few weeks ago. MIBR is a fucking joke even though they are "top5 team" according to rankings. Liquid still has very high "choke" potential. Na`Vi is good but too inconsistent, also has a problem with playing grand-finals. NiP is top6 somehow, yet they are far from being good. mouz had a bad season. And let's be honest: NRG, North, BIG are not even tier1 teams despite they are in top10. Where is fnatic by the way? Top26, lmao. Should I even mention Joke2, Clown9, Gambot, etc?

You cant even take that fnatic argument with #26 cuz they lost their ranks cause of 2 changes. And for the rest just #59. Some teams weren't in a slump back than like TSM or Envy but thats why fnatic got beaten so much during their so "dominant Era" by them.
2018-11-10 14:28
NiP, mouz, North also made changes, so? And with #59 you can just go fuck yourself if you think 2018 situation is the same as 2015-2016.

I disagree to some extent, when Fantic smashed everyone and certainly was the best team in the world, the competition was WAY lower than it is today. Its just way harder to be number 1 team to day than it was 2 years ago. Setting up Best form Fnatic VS Best form Astralis, just isn't reliable way of doing things, Astralis might aswell smash Fnatic as the other way around. BTW pls stop saying that the Astralis era aren't even close to the Fnatic era it is there, not comeplete yet but it's close. There just no Fnatic fan that wanna admit it.

Fuck off retard, faze is the most inconsistent dogshit team of all time and they’re top 3. Liquid have not won a real tourney EVER and they’re top 3. NaVi are a shell of a shell of themselves and they’re top 3. Astralis is literally the only good team right now and their core three device, Dupreeh, and xyp9x have stuck together since the old fnatic era. You see why they’re the best? They’re the only team who stuck together. It’s like they maintained their skill level as a team while every other team declined in skill and started changing rosters.

you can't compare an era of 2016 with an era of 2018 besides where are they now (fnatic). (tsm/astralis/dignitas) with 3 main players was the most dominant and solid team of whole csgo history.
2018-11-10 12:17
It's easy to dominate a game that no one else plays. Astralis > fnatic

100% disagree Fnatic had clear rivals back then (Envy, TSM) who beat them quite often (in BO3). Astralis doesnt have that.

I'm a swede, and a fan on fnatic, but I completely disagree. I've never seen a team as dominant as Astralis is now, except for NiP in the beginning of CS:GO. And considering how tough the competition is now, it's super impressive.

dude astralis won only 6 events this year. even sk won 8 last year.fnatic and nip won 10 events in a year. if we take second half of 2014 and early 2016, fnatic won around 17 events in 1 1/2 years. which is almost 1 event per month. Astralis is nowhere close to that and have to do a lot to reach that.

they did attended 14 events this year. they will attend atleast 3 more this year. so 17events this year. sk attended like 18 events last year. so there is no such excuse. astralis need to win 2 out of 4 to be comparable to sk. they need more to to be comparable to fnatic and nip.

well fnatic won 9 t1 events by liquipedia and astralis won 6. by t1 event list is retarded anyway.they put overrated t2 blast as t1 event as and harder to win events which has more t1 teams as t2 event. also fnatic won 5/7 t1 events they attended by hltv in 2015thats like 70% big events of 2015 won by fnatic. astralis won only 7 out of 14 big events of 2018 by hltv. thats like 50%.you got the picture right. if you want actual premier event list check it out. liquipedia.net/counterstrike/Premier_Tou..

fnatic were dominant in 2015 alone, yet they didn't really do anything else afterwards. You cannot compare dominance as factual because it's a different time of CS:GO, completely different meta's and new player peak-performances. Arguable NiP had the most important era because it laid the groundwork for fnatic, which then paved the way for dominance throughout; changing the meta once again. We haven't had true dominance since then, but Astralis are equally or just as dominant as the previous teams for this level of competition.
2018-11-10 14:49
They dominated early 2016 too

Yes they did with dennis, but not for very long. Same goes for the latter half of 2014 bar the CS:GO Major of DreamHack Winter 2014. It's illogical to compare dominance as factual when it's very, very different dominance of different CS:GO meta's.
2018-11-10 14:55
So, what would classify as a 'dominance' then?
2018-11-10 15:07

United Kingdom Jonty04l32
Well in my opinion only two teams achieved "era-defining" dominance... Those being NiP and fnatic. LG/SK were dominant for a time, but it was so dilapidated and all over the show, there was very little consistency is said dominance at all. With Astralis now, they prove to be very dominant and if they can push this same dominance for longer than half a year, an era might very well occur for them. Otherwise it's simply down to opinions and fans assuming what they life when it comes down to these things. "So, what would classify as a 'dominance' then?" A period of winning-streaks in an indomitable fashion. It's still ludicrous to assume one dominance is better than other, as dominance is dominance at the end of the day; hence why I broke down the eras of dominance as a whole. It's the opinion fnatic's dominant streak was better than Astralis', but in my opinion it was during a very, very different time in CS:GO that it's incomparable to being the very same.
2018-11-10 15:12
Well, in that regard, Astralis don't have any sort of dominance

Some of them were "fun events" and as far as i remember only 1 or 2 were actually what you can call a dominant tournament run.

1 NiP - 87-0 2 Fnatic Astralis plebs
2018-11-10 15:23
Sorry to dissapoint you, but NiP era is overrated. CSGO just became a scene and because of that not many contrahends.
2018-11-10 17:36
Try to win 87 matches on lan without losing , i bet it will be so easy , right? Not even that , the first loss after 87-0 was won only 16-14 , 1 round and it would be OT and they could've extended their run
2018-11-11 11:40
Look, a butthurt fanboy. Not many players changed to csgo that early in the day. Most were still playing 1.6 or source. Therefore the skillsceiling in the scene was very low. Of course 87-0 is an achievement none the less, but people praise it into orbit. Overrated doesn't mean it is bad, it means it is not as good as people make it. And that's exactly the case.
2018-11-11 15:15
Who the fuck couldn't get to play the game if they wanted to? Everyone could do it , it wasn't like nobody wasn't allowed to fuckin practice cs:go except NiP.

Fnatic was dominant in a fun way popping head always did crazy comebacks and sick stuff happend Astralis has some fag glaive reading his book with tacticts and goes throught 10 demos everyday and just playing super tactical nothing fun happends in the games. They were not real men and couldnt be the best so they approached this booring tactical style. Might be the reason why the game is dead not many seems to like this tactical meta. No hyped casters or crowd and like 70k views on the main stream in a grand final haha

even if the best players rn are a bit more skilled than 4 years ago (simply because time has passed and theyve naturally perfected their skill more with time) competition is much lower. 3 - 4 years back you had a lot of tier1 teams who stood out from the rest. now its just 3 or 4 if even that
2018-11-14 12:24
its just that astralis are try harding the most of them, other teams just dont care anymore its either veteran teams are rich and successful already so they dont care or new teams that are not good enough to compete the level has risen up and the old teams would be much worse

way ahead in terms of tactics. raw firepower and dominance wise, fnatic was stronger. still can't compare them directly as you wouldn't know the actual results.

astralis miles ahead of fnatic in firepower, fnatic had one bottom dragger on a daily basis while astralis got a jackpot with gla1ve who's leading and fragging the most quite often Best Fnatic there ever have been and current Astralis would end up being 2 0 for Astralis, I'm almost sure

and another team will play better cs in future.does that make current astralis bad than? the thing is what a team did against given opposition at that time. no point is saying 2018 teams are better than 2015 teams since they have 3+ years of advanced tactics and met with them. if you want 2018 astralis to be better than 2015 fnatic then 2018 astralis needs to play better and win more events against 2018 2018 opposition like how 2015 fnatic did against 2015 opposition.

These are two different metas. This is why it's so hard to compare historic lineups like this.

if we ignore meta changes and level of scene in general, nip most dominant team ever (just following your logic)
2018-11-15 09:44
Then why did TSM consistently won against fnatic in their matches? Lul

2018-11-15 21:38
astralis is the most dominant team we have seen in csgo
2018-11-15 22:46
fnatic

NO
2018-11-19 23:45
nip flair hahaha
2018-11-20 14:12
nip are a good team now, astralis are the most dominant team to touch cs all the stats say so they past the eye test, the only reason why you dont think they are the most dominant is cos you are too retarded to realise that fantic didnt blow out every single team at every tournament infact lots of their games were close they lost loads of series, they were never as dominant as astralis and here's a fact asrtalis now hold the longest period of time as being the number 1 team in the world at 59 weeks, they are the best team of all time incsgo

hahahahaha classic yellow teeth autist :>

I agree, fnatic always top1
2018-11-15 23:12
They weren't dominating everyone. Envyus nearly won Majors against them and so did Nip if I'm not mistaken. Plus, TSM used to beat them in bo3. But yeah, they were better than the Astralis of today.
2018-11-16 18:12
u just explained why astralis are better than them today, fnatic had competition astralis dont
2018-11-20 21:23
I understand what you are saying, but Fnatic' competition was way better than Astralis's
2018-11-20 22:23
wrong, teams are way better now then in 2015 the meta is way more in depth and the game is just more tactically evolved than what fnatic had to deal with.
2018-11-20 22:26
The game has evolved a lot yes. But consider this, Fnatic's competition were Envyus, who had arguably the best in-form player ever in Kenny and all the other legends, and NIP who had gone on a mad winning streak the previous year. Of course NIP only went on that winning streak because the competition was rare, but still... And I don't disagree at all with, today you have more teams and the game has evolved a lot and I don't think that Fnatic are way better than Astralis... I just think that Astralis need to keep being in the top for one more year

Lol? Fnatic was winning more events than everyone, but they weren't dominating when it came to scores. A lot of teams made them sweat and go all the way, and of course they lost events as well. Then there's the fact that NOTHING fnatic has done is on par with winning a major 2-0, 2-0, 2-0 in playoffs, against the other top 3 teams, plus 16-0'ing SK's core. The only thing 2015 fnatic has over 2018 Astralis is raw aim. In terms of tactics, teamwork, utility usage, mid round calls and clutch capability, they are NOWHERE NEAR current Astralis.
2018-11-19 20:37
+10000000000000000000000 and btw in terms of raw aim and players all the players are insane and will be in top 15 of this year
