Yes,just like in Fnatic vs TSM times
pronax 3 majors > simple 0 majors
ye but now competition is higher
i love fnatic but fuck men.. really that boost on overpass vs ldlc costs me 350$
yea cuz meta hasn't changed in any way right?
I disagree to some extent, when Fantic smashed everyone and certainly was the best team in the world, the competition was WAY lower than it is today. Its just way harder to be number 1 team to day than it was 2 years ago. Setting up Best form Fnatic VS Best form Astralis, just isn't reliable way of doing things, Astralis might aswell smash Fnatic as the other way around.
BTW pls stop saying that the Astralis era aren't even close to the Fnatic era it is there, not comeplete yet but it's close. There just no Fnatic fan that wanna admit it.
Fnatic era was much nicer than Astralis era today, but Astralis would demolish 2015fnatic,fnatic wouldnt get more than 4 rounds
Teams nowdays are so much better than teams in 2015 and 2016
you can't compare an era of 2016 with an era of 2018 besides where are they now (fnatic).
(tsm/astralis/dignitas) with 3 main players was the most dominant and solid team of whole csgo history.
It's easy to dominate a game that no one else plays.
Astralis > fnatic
astralis era isnt over yet
Fnatic had clear rivals back then (Envy, TSM) who beat them quite often (in BO3). Astralis doesnt have that.
I'm a swede, and a fan on fnatic, but I completely disagree. I've never seen a team as dominant as Astralis is now, except for NiP in the beginning of CS:GO. And considering how tough the competition is now, it's super impressive.
i like turtles
I feel like today Astralis will win tho
fnatic were dominant in 2015 alone, yet they didn't really do anything else afterwards.
You cannot compare dominance as factual because it's a different time of CS:GO, completely different meta's and new player peak-performances. Arguable NiP had the most important era because it laid the groundwork for fnatic, which then paved the way for dominance throughout; changing the meta once again.
We haven't had true dominance since then, but Astralis are equally or just as dominant as the previous teams for this level of competition.
If Astralis wins next Major we can talk about dominance
Im pretty sure fnatic had a 6 tournament wins run when they picked up dennis... That's quite an acomplishment even for that time.. I dont recall teams winning more than 2 events in a row in the recent months
1 NiP - 87-0
Fnatic was dominant in a fun way popping head always did crazy comebacks and sick stuff happend
Astralis has some fag glaive reading his book with tacticts and goes throught 10 demos everyday and just playing super tactical nothing fun happends in the games. They were not real men and couldnt be the best so they approached this booring tactical style. Might be the reason why the game is dead not many seems to like this tactical meta. No hyped casters or crowd and like 70k views on the main stream in a grand final haha
Even in the times fnatic was the most dominant they almost went out in groups and very often dropped bo3 maps
have to question if you even watched them back then or you're just going off of other peoples account.
Fnatic had a bot pronax
They wouldnt stand a chance against current Astralis
They were humilated by TSM and NV...
Astralis would own them
You probably didnt even watch cs during fnatic era. They didnt demolish everyone and would often drop maps in group stages, drop series in playoffs (=drop tournaments), they would get smashed from time to time (not like Astralis who got smashed only twice or three times at most during their era + it was a single map occasion) and they had been getting slaughtered by TSM (they lost like 7/8 games against them)
Tsm with cajunb and karrigan were almost bettee than them lmao.imagine now.astralis >>>>>>>>>fnatic 2015
doubt u even played cs when they dominated, astralis would smash them
if astralis win another major.. they are up there... level with fnatic.. 3 x major..
3 x major ; fnatic
2 x major ; astralis / sk(lg)
1x major ; gambit / clown9 - lucky winners.. wont see another major to save there lives..
VG era(2008-2012) was the best
Enjoyed that video to be honest
thanks for it
when there are two dominant teams it makes the scene very good.
Astralis needs shit ton of luck to win against new fnatic with a 16 years old kid on their era and people would argue that this overrated team would have a chance against prime fnatic, let me laugh
rofl, fnatic isnt even second best. Astralis era, LG/SK era, tec-9/CZ (fnatic) era
Feel like the people who rate fnatic the highest didn't even watch them and just goes on other peoples account of what they were like.
Faze from 17-0 lan record > Astralis
Sk/lg prime > astralis
Fnatic prime > astralis
NiP prime > astralis
Optic prime > astralis
Envy prime > astralis
This Astralis will be the 3rd team to win back to back majors.
diffrent styles, but i agree
fnatic2015 > astralis2018
JW fak u
These are two different metas. This is why it's so hard to compare historic lineups like this.
seeing that fanatic is going back to their track with new blood
As an author of this thread im closing this thread, everything was discussed.
if we ignore meta changes and level of scene in general, nip most dominant team ever (just following your logic)
Then why did TSM consistently won against fnatic in their matches? Lul
+1 astralis fans cannot handle
+1 fnatic one of the dominant teams in csgo history
astralis is the most dominant team we have seen in csgo
I agree, fnatic always top1
They weren't dominating everyone. Envyus nearly won Majors against them and so did Nip if I'm not mistaken. Plus, TSM used to beat them in bo3. But yeah, they were better than the Astralis of today.
In other news: water is wet
Lol? Fnatic was winning more events than everyone, but they weren't dominating when it came to scores. A lot of teams made them sweat and go all the way, and of course they lost events as well.
Then there's the fact that NOTHING fnatic has done is on par with winning a major 2-0, 2-0, 2-0 in playoffs, against the other top 3 teams, plus 16-0'ing SK's core.
The only thing 2015 fnatic has over 2018 Astralis is raw aim. In terms of tactics, teamwork, utility usage, mid round calls and clutch capability, they are NOWHERE NEAR current Astralis.
