+1, but for many people nostalgia beats logic
some people dont want to face the facts
People just love to hate on #1. They'll say anything to knock them down, not just in CS either.
+1 Exactly!!! Thats exactly what ive been saying to everyone who is retarded.
They cannot have an era, because they're boring, remember that ..
HLTV logic ... fuck sake..
lol they just win tournaments by beating shitquid, how could that be an "era" lul
barely won against Fnatic tho
definitely the best tactical era in cs history, but fnatic era still >>> this era, it entirely depends whether or not astralis wins next major or at least grabs a few wins the next 4-5 events.
when 88-0 its astralis era ok
Nip era was trash how u even compare it like u playing vs dmg teams and u get wins so nip never had era astralis is the best team touch cs and I don't even like them, but it's the tru
The debate on whether or not it's an era was over when they won the major, even if they had lost all their matches after that, they would still have an era with a major title after a dominance of 6 months.
Of course the fact that they keep on winning means that their era is not over.
In fact they've surpassed every other previous #1 team in terms of total number of weeks as #1 (29 weeks), total number of weeks as 1000 points (20 weeks) and best streak of weeks as #1 (29 weeks).
The only thing left for them is to surpass fnatic's streak of weeks as 1000 points, which they can still do assuming they remain at 1000 points for the next 7 weeks, but given that they surpass them in the 3 other departments, it's not an overstatement to say that Astralis' era is bigger than fnatic's era.
The only two things left for fnatic fans to hang onto are the back-to-back major wins, which so far was only done by fnatic, and this 16 weeks streak at 1000 pts, both of which are still doable for Astralis, but even if they don't manage to do it I think it's clear that their era is the biggest in CSGO.
