I'm not going to say Liquid aren't a good team and that they should disband, no.
But seriously, something obviously has to be done here. And it might effect results short term, but long term it might even win them a major, or to start with, a damn grand final of some sort.
No question about it, there's talent in NA. They need ballsy players that are willing to take risks and are fearless, no matter the opponent. A few names, Brehze, Ethan, Stewie, Tarik, Autimatic, Rush.
What players has to go? And this is not because of their performances, it's because to win grand finals you need to have explosive players, every winning team has it, players who don't crack under pressure and are willing to make the play. Liquid has one of those, Twistzz, sometimes Elige but only somtimes.
Nitr0, unfortunately not consistent enough and doesn't fit into this team if they want to be a top contender for winning grand finals consistently.
If you want to remove one more, that's gotta be Taco. Not because he's not good enough, again, he just isn't aggressive enough to make up for the lack of aggression in this team. He should be where he made his success, with the core of mibr, and that's where he will win the trophies he deserves to win, that's where he plays his role within the team to perfection.
So, I'd add Stewie and Rush. Why? Rush is one of the most consistent and ''always getting his frag'' players in North America. He can be passive, he can be aggressive. One of the best if not the best entryfragger NA has ever seen in CSGO. Why Stewie? Well, think what you want about him for ''backstabbing'' C9, he chased success, he chased trophies. He won't get them in mibr, but in this lineup, he possibly could. The most aggressive player NA has ever had in global offensive. He's not afraid to make the play at 14-14 no matter the match or team he's playing against. He will go for that frag and he will win you those rounds Taco or Nitr0 simply couldn't. He can awp when needed. Insanely good on both sides of the map. He's the one that'll get that clutch for you that looked unwinnable, or those 2 entryfrags that no one expected.
All the other players listed could also have a good argument for joining, I just picked out the duo I liked the most. And I'm not completely sure on who's calling for the majority of the time in Liquid as of right now, but if nitr0 just HAS TO be there, then that's another thing, although I think change is good for the most part, especially when you're stuck at the same place, having the same problem for such a long time.
Thoughts?
