300+
2018-11-19 15:50
250-300+ easily
2018-11-19 15:50

1030 gives you 130+ with i3 cpu (though cpu is not crucial for gaming) youtube.com/watch?v=aG5iVqsOjF0

proof link. Also, watch above yt video with i3 which is not considered great and try to deduce who is dumb here, mkay? GPUs exist for a reason LOL

Source engine is cpu intensive, diff between 1070 and 1080 is very small with the same high end cpu

Do you mean valve is retarded enough to not use a device (GPU) that is specifically designed to render polygons efficiently (since it has way more cores to do parallel processing)? Proof link?
2018-11-19 16:40
Just google it dude, u will see many benchmarks proving my point

I googled specifically for "cpu and cs" and found only random people saying crap - no real evidence from developers. So, do you mean bullshit repeated multiple times becomes true? Also: here's video youtube.com/watch?v=aG5iVqsOjF0 where GPU prooves to be valuable while CPU is now considered to be outdated
2018-11-19 16:44
Hello prodka. It appears that you are not familiar with source engine ( 2018 new csgo player ). Rendering / post-rendering power is one of the most intensive functions of your CPU. Yes, GPU is important but the back end stuff is done by the CPU.

Again, proof link or just keep quiet while watching youtube.com/watch?v=aG5iVqsOjF0 imba cpu it seems LOL: benchmarks.ul.com/hardware/cpu/Intel+Cor..
2018-11-19 16:51
Googling stuff in English may help you sir, having a better GPU does indeed enhance your performance but it is more CPU intensive than GPU intensive. This applies for every source engine game, not only csgo. So googling " source engine cpu " ( in English of course ) might give you an answer. Regards.

Proof link or retarded. Actually, I'm getting tired of you, morons. CyA
2018-11-19 16:59
I am not your slave meaning that I do not need to provide any links because I already gave you the answer for your problem. Simply googling "source engine cpu" in English gives you multiple links to look at. However if you are having hard time reading (or you are blind or something), I will gladly provide links for you.

leave him alone hes just pathetic navi fan. well pathetic and navi fan are synonims so
2018-11-19 17:14
Hello. I am aware but thanks for reminding me. Just pointing out that googling stuff in English most likely gives you an answer rather than googling it in Russian for example.
2018-11-19 17:17
being from ex ussr but not russia i know that you should google everything in eng rather than in rus since like 9-10yo so if that guy didnt figure it by himself yet hes hopeless, most likely

Yes sir +1 He already gave up with this because he indeed is hopeless HaHaHaHaHaHa

It's not about the monitor and its handling but it's all about the measurement...how much fps he's gonna get with such kind of hardware set in CS:GO.

fps for no real reason? just a textview label?
2018-11-19 16:27
Maybe he just wanted to know how powerful would be this set on CS:GO example. I mean if you know that you'll get 630 fps in CS:GO then u gonna get something about ~100 fps in all top games on the high settings.

strange logic since not all games are developed with equal quality and performance
2018-11-19 16:45
yea I know but I got his logic and nothing we really can do about it...
2018-11-19 16:51
OCed stable 350+ on 1280x960, i mean without drops below 350 in some situation or smoked site for example. at least it should be like that, even higher if youre playing csgo only get i7 and 1060
2018-11-19 15:54
I7 for cs go :D
2018-11-19 16:03
whats funny? i5 is like the worst option as its 6/6, OCed i3 top model should do better than i5; he can get non-overclockable i7 with cheaper mobo instead of i5 and z370
2018-11-19 16:12
Why wouldnt that i3 be faster than i7 with your logic? Only a 6c6t cpu @5GHz for cs go :D :D :D

I got +550 if I put fps_max 0, and I got i7-8700k, so I would say +450, but you don't need that much. I've set mine to fps_max 300. :-)
2018-11-19 16:06
fps should be as twice as your monitor refresh rate so 300 is enough for 144hz but for 240hz it should be 480 _stable_ thats because of source engine

navi fan calls someone retarded 'i dont have proof link' so shut your rotten mouths the fuck up then L
2018-11-19 17:04
the formula is: (monitor_hz_rate*2)+1. proofs: youtu.be/hjWSRTYV8e0 reddit.com/r/GlobalOffensive/comments/3t.. 60*2+1=121 144*2+1=289 240*2+1=481 ya v kurse chto vse fanati navi umstvenno ogranicheny, mne tebya zhalko dazhe :)

2018-11-19 16:23
After some point having the better GPU doesnt affect anything its like comparing a Sports car with a standard car on a messed up road both of the cars wont be able to go up to such high speeds although one of them have way better engine and much more horsepower. Especially in csgo you can get nearly the same fps with 2080 and 1060 just cause the game doesnt require that much GPU power.

Yes, but computers are weird. For some computers with slightly different specs 16:9 is a better res because it is more native. You should get at least 240 FPS if u play 16:10 or 16:9, but just do what u feel most comfortable with, you will get high fps no matter what
