Hello, lady and gentlemen from HLTV.org. Today, I’ll be arguing why MiBR need to disband.
Attention:This can angry some brainless brazillians.
At the March 30th, the Brazillian scene would be found dead, this was the day when Jake “Stewie2K” Yip departed from his former team, Cloud9, to join SK Gaming. Apart from a tons of threads of everyone talking how shit this transation was, it still happened. After that, we saw SK in a huge slump, getting shit results in every single tourneament they attended.
The future for the team was looking dark, but after they turned into the MiBR org, everything could go right, as they weren’t even trying at SK, right? Wrong. They turned into dogshit levels, turning to the needs of another addition: Tarik “TaRik” Célik. After than they even called Yanko “YNk” Paunóvic as the coach of the team. With all these changes MiBR was finally looking near to good, as they made a good fight to Astralis at DreamHack Masters Stockholm and won the tier 1 tourneament, Zotac Cup Masters. But, soon as the Faceit London Major arrives, MiBR tomb was getting deeper. Huge loses to Tyloo, Astralis and Na’Vi marked their run at London, still, they got that sweet Legends state. Recently, MiBR was out in groups in their last two events, losing to NRG and FaZe at IEM Chicago and doing a great 0-5 run at Blast Pro Series Copenhagen, a tourneament that they won last year.
It’s clear that MiBR is shit these days and, in the prime of cases, only a full disband would save these players.
Some braindead brazillian could say that adding some nonamers from Brazillian scene or Fnx and Taco back could save the line, but neither of these could do shit.
The most “talented” new players from Brazil are Kaike “Kscerato” Cerato and Alencar “trk” Rossato. Or, for most of the people “who? and who?”.
Here some matches of them against tier 3-4 teams.
Yes, these guys are the hope from Brazillian scene.
TACO isn’t idiot, even if Liquid can’t win tourneament they still can reach finals, something far away from MiBR actual level, especially with Fer playing like horseshit. Fnx is a washed up pro, couldn’t play good without FalleN-Coldzera-Fer carrying him. Of course, he’s pretty good at clutching, still Xyp9x is some lightyears ahead from him.
Is obvious to anyone that roster changes are coming, but the real solution is a complete disband, why? To from decent teams! How? I show you!
Of course, I said 5 minutes ago that fnx is washed up, but he can probaly still play at tier 2-3 level that LG is in and Fer could retireve his motivation, going full “FerGod” mode, as he had at 2017.
Coldzera can IGL(he was co-IGL at LG/SK) and is one of the best awper in the game, which emply teo things that Liquid need, and, with TACO as a bait, coldzera could go back to his 2016-2017 form. Without a doubt a good fix.
A alternative for FaZe, acquiring one of the best IGL of the game and a supportive rifler, combined this strats and firepower, they could beat Astralis.
With this change, Ethan would have more freedom to be a star, even if this would probaly take out the star from Cerq, as Stew is a very capable awper. However, this change could make NRG go from some deep runs to actually winning tourneaments.
Said this all, MiBR disbanded would only bring benefits for everyone.
