the truth ;) I agree. alcohol doesn't change that easily decisions you already made but those have to be certain, you have to be certain. or see it as things you (or your "fortune" has) already set in stone, like love. you either do or not love someone, you cannot change it by being drunk, can you? if you are in doubt, then alcohol just removes the filters that prevent you to turn the stones lying before you, revealing the true uncertain "you", making mistakes (or changing the "now") from which you learn and move on in life to become the one you decide (or not decide, that's the worse thing to let happen) to be. easy lessons. a comfortable "status quo" doesn't mean it's the right path. it's harder to go into the unknown than to continue with the known, that's why it is so hard to "change" even though good things can come with it (and also the bad).
