Real vegans can't eat meat or animals coz it's disgusting for them (it's like a psychological phobia)
The others – are posers
Reasons to decrease meat consumption:
-Health benefits- Eating too much meat can be unhealthy due to the high fat content and the potential kidney damage coming from consuming too much protein.
-Animal cruelty- I know you dont care or downplay but the truth is if i sliced your dogs throat and made sausages you would not be very happy. Animals although not as intelligent as humans, still can feel pain, fear, agony etc. Im not saying we should starve but between hanging a pig upside down and stabbing it in the heart or relying on plants for protein i think the choice is pretty clear.
-Environmental issues and sustainability- Meat takes more resources to produce and in turn leads to more waste. Plants are easier to grow, lead to significantly less waste.
there are other factors but these 3 are obvious priorities
Im not saying stop eating meat, but it doesnt have to be every meal and we have to be wary and not destroy our environment because steak tastes good.

Betas eat leftovers and grass
The less people eat meat, the less animals will be killed cuz it ain't profitable if no one buys it. It has to start somewhere, it won't change over night obviously. So it is like a political statement so to speak. More and more might join, as the trend has been, so meat production should decrease within like 50-100 years if the trend goes on. Also, you're saying the animals will just live in the wilderness which is not true. Meat industry will kill them before turning off the machines, because there will still be some need for them

ok then im heading out, but I do so I just wanted to mention that your body does not need that much protein at all to rebuild and develop, too much protein as is preached in the weightlifting community is totally redundant an can actually be counterproductive if this is your main goal, and dont even get me startet on the carb loading...
