ninja's setup is crazy
Belgium Kniken
do you think he bought it himself or red bull paid for it? its probably the best setup money can buy: 3x camera that costs ~$6000 each... mixer that costs ~$3000. if you add everything up that he has in his streaming room it cost probably more than some people pay for a house.

Weird. It got blocked for me aswell, but: If you google "fortnite player count" this website shows up at first spot and if I click it it works, besides being the same link Oo But: accounts isnt active players. Its a F2P with alot of smurfs and cheaters.
2018-12-15 14:27
shouldnt be on top of google then if its a paid site imo
2018-12-15 17:51
"But: accounts isnt active players. Its a F2P with alot of smurfs and cheaters." +1, and even if there werent any smurfs or cheaters, there would still be a lot of unactive accounts, so it wouldnt be the same as active players
2019-01-12 13:29
Yep that's a very good point. Account counts are a horrible way to actually gauge growth. It's better to use concurrent player counts. Many companies don't have active statistics about that - unlike Steam. Epic does, however, release concurrent playercounts here and there. They reached 10.8 million concurrent players last month.
2019-04-27 01:29
I dont even remember this conversation xD but yeah, you're right

well i dont think that number could go down...
2019-04-25 03:16
Fortnite actually hit its peak concurrent playercount of 10.7 million in February. As of March, it hit 10.8 million. It probably hit another peak with the whole superhero event. This isn't about total registered accounts or anything (which is indeed a horrible statistic to determine player growth or decline).

his output is bottlenecked to hell by twitch themselves. with google fibre slowly growing and rigs getting stronger, it baffles me as to why twitch still sticks with 1080p 60fps with a maximum bitrate of 5000 or something. it looks good on a 1080p monitor or a phone but on a 1440p or greater screen (my monitor is 1440p but slightly larger too), it looks like 720p on a 1080p monitor and it greatly dissapoints me. i want to start streaming soon and if anything I want to stream at 1440p or greater. if i have baller internet, i want to take advantage of all of it and stream in 4k. even if ppl cant watch it in 4k, the vod is still in 4k 60fps with very high bitrate which would future proof both my twitch and my youtube assuming i make videos at a similar style to shroud, jasonR, etc.

And damn that is a nice setup.... the dream of any twitch streamer really... Also a bit overkill imo but still... If it was up to me though, I would change the keyboard. I have the exact same keyboard as him except with brown switches and I'm really not a huge fan of it anymore. I would much rather have the new Razer blackwidow ultimate keyboard that recently came out.

World ///fuck
I didn't say that he didn't
2019-01-14 12:35
Obviously, he works for it but I don't see the pay grades justifiable by any means. There's a lot more meaningful jobs which are a much bigger labor to deliver and also much more important to the society and people as a whole. Their pay grade's usually a shitload less and they might actually need the setup sponsored (or anything, doesn't have to be a setup what they don't have money to buy) for it to ever happen to them in a reasonable timeframe. But would that happen? Probably not. Also, the image painted to users about "famous" peoples wealth is way off. There are so many people considered rich who are just keeping their ship afloat by working their asses off and cutting corners while to outsiders it seems like they're living the dream.. Anyhow, I don't watch Ninja but as far as I've seen him play occasionally I think he's a good player but produces really cringe content that is clearly made to please a younger crowd.
2019-05-09 20:17
i dont get how people see it like that. if you entertain millions of people you deserve the money.
2019-05-11 03:51
Well, yes and no.. Hard to explain this to you in depth but the value of his input in thinking what contributes to us all in a whole and what he gets in compensation.. Is ridiculous. If you still don't see it I'll try to elaborate: If there's a guy who operates the whole German electricity grid and nobody else could do that, then I'd understand. If there's a guy risking his life to clean other peoples fuck-ups (take a firefighter for example) they should be better compensated, not the guy who is playing video games for a living and has millions of kids following what he does. I would understand it if his input would assure that the next generation grows up understanding a bit more about empathy, respect and/or for example good moral values and respecting others but I doubt that's what they'll learn. :p I am not saying he's standing against these things or something but in general the value <<< compensation.
2019-05-11 03:59
yeah i can see your side as well
2019-05-11 05:14
In that case you've to question the concerned authority regarding the salaries. According to your logic, CEOs and founders of many brands, companies and startups shouldn't be rich, which they deserve after investing their money and hardwork in them.
2019-06-12 21:17
No, I am not saying they shouldn't be rich but the disparity shouldn't be as big. They could and should compensate their workers better accordingly. On the IT-sector f.e. some companies have given employees stock options to better compensate according to success and thus also improve work morale and quality for obvious reasons.

Even if he is only a "smaller" german CSGO-Streamer / Ex-Pro-Player, this is one of the most expensive streaming-equipment out there, in my opinion: And (what is not listed on the Homepage) both CPUs are high overclocked (Gaming-PC: 8700k@5.2-5.4Ghz = 900+ € and Streaming-PC: 7980XE @ 4,6 GHz = 2.600+ €) , so his whole equipment should have the worth of a mid-range car for sure. Some other example: In-Ear Ultimate Ears UE 18-Pro - 1.500 €, Camera - 1.300 €, Case - 550 € , Lens - 800 €, Sound Interface - 2.500+ €
2019-01-15 16:27
thats much less than what ninja has though. ninjas cameras alone are worth the same as his setup lol
2019-01-16 18:19
Europe RKC
Never said it's more expensive overall!? Quote: "one of the most expensive" Only the PC's itself are more expensive than Ninjas PC's. The cameras costs ~$6,000 each btw. 3*6,000=18,000. nooky's PC's ~$28,000-30,000+, so it's more worth. I think his whole setup costs around $40,000. Ninjas maybe $70,000+ overall.

BUMP He's like those trash vloggers who make tons of money while being extremely MEDIOCRE. It's pathetic but what's the point in going on about it. Lol. He didn't pay for any of his shit, it's all revenue given to him by the children that watch his stream

For everything to be that nice and use DT990s as headphones. lol No wonder he's so loud and annoying. His ears must be blown out by the sibilance on those things. If you want wide soundstage precision stereo headphones why not a pair of HD800s? I'd rather have DT880s then 990s. Goddamn the 990s screach.
