Norway bruhfessor
the language itself is not super hard imho, but what is hard is learning the many Kanji letters that require a lot of training. But if you are motivated and follow some university level course for instance you should be alright
2018-12-26 22:40
My plan is to start taking classes as soon as I start my univesity. Unfortunately, here on Brazil, depending on which area you want to enter (i.e. medicine at Univesity of São Paulo, engineering on Aeronautics Institute of Technology) you may take 4~5 years just to pass their exams. So, maybe I'll be a little late to start learning, since I'm 20.

no Portuguese (my father is from there, and cuz of that I am a fluent speaker) Swedish (my mother is from there, and I can speak fluently) Spanish( is similar to portuguese and I had on school, the most easier language to learn on the list with french and italian) french ( comes from the latin and it was kinda easy to learn) italian (same as french) german (I speak it the hole day...) edit : english - school
2018-12-27 12:51

compare spanish, french and italian to for example german or swedish I cant prove it to you in the real life, if I could...
2018-12-27 22:36
They're all romance language, so they're similar in the sound and the grammar, but it doesn't mean you don't have to study to pick up any language you want just because it belongs on the same family. If you know Italian you can guess what a spanish/portuguese/french is saying, but you still need years to be fluent, especially to be able to speak it. It really depends on your definition of "knowing".
