they should be paying us to use Win10 - I still wouldn't do it
tbh even though XP was great, that's where it all started.. spyware in every other system service and you had to use tools to disable the the hidden data collection. Once compatibility issues were fixed, Vista was actually a much better OS than XP in many ways, but by that time, 7 was already close to being released. I still use 7 to this day, because it is the most refined and intuitive - much better than 2000, XP and Vista could ever be.
Just thinking about the Win10 installation process makes me facepalm, having done it once on my parents' laptop. And I completely forgot Win8 existed.
