Logitech HERO Sensor

I need a new mouse. I bought a Zowie EC1A in 2016, but it spins out once a game and the scroll wheel sensor triggers responses if I squeeze the mouse too hard (which is a problem since I bound it to jump) so I need a new mouse. I'm looking at the Logitech G603 Lightspeed Wireless and see that it has the HERO sensor. I'm used to hearing about the 3366 for Logitechs so I was wondering if this sensor is just as good or better? The only reason I'm not getting another Zowie is because I heard their build quality or QC has gone downhill. Thanks.

Lightspeed sensor is amazing and batteries last way longer than their old sensor in g403/g703 counterparts. I am using the gpro wireless and have had 0 sensor issues and have also used the g305 which uses the same sensor aswell but felt that mouse was to small for me.

Okay cool. I'm also assuming that the G603 is the same shape/size as the G403 since their side-by-side photos look exactly the same. I felt my friend's G403 and it felt good. Thanks.

Correct.

Hero sensor is as good as 3366, it's just Logitech technology. G603 is good mouse but pretty heavy. Mouses which weight more than 100 grams are considered not so good for FPS games. I KNOW there are people who like heavy mouses but i'm just pointing out how it is.

Oh yeah, I didn't even take into account that the batteries would increase the weight. I play with low sensitivity so that would probably be a no-go. ty

It weights 135grams with batteries which is a lot. For casual gaming it will be ok, but if u want to be good at CS mouse should be less than 100 grams like i said. Logitech G Pro Wireless seems to be pretty dope but that price :/

Realize g603 only needs 1 battery in it weighs 112.3 g and that lasts 250 hours of USE. Sensor shuts off pretty fast when not in use so that is easily a couple weeks.

G703 weights ~105g which is way better than G603.

G703 has to be charged 10 times as often on default settings(24 hours of use) and weight 107g G603 is 112g with 1 battery(250 hours of use) weeks of gaming. So its 5 grams lighter and needs to be charged a shit ton, wouldn't call that "way better"

Also new Razer Mamba Wireless seems to be nice with good sensor and also ~105grams of weight. Sadly those mices are pretty expensive.

I know it sounds silly but I don't plan on buying another razer mouse (first gaming mouse was a 2013 deathadder) until they make account registration and synapse optional. I am definitely considering the g703 though, ty. Like you said, the weight is important.

You don't need to ask something like this about a Logitech product. If it's Logitech, it's good, always. Logitech = quality
2019-01-12 23:59
I thought so too but reading reviews from the past two years there's a lot of complaints about quality. Scroll wheel issues, mouse starts registering single clicks as double clicks, etc. I'm just wary that's all. Thanks.

I have one and it's just amazing. I'm suspicious to say cause I'm very unlucky with zowie. But the logitech sensors are really good, and the shape of g403 fits really well for me.

i wanna get the same mouse just wondering how long does the battery last?

Get Finalmouse

overpriced piece of junk
2019-01-13 00:55
It was a joke. Never owned one why is it junk?

I have used scream1, classic ergo 2 and than the Ultralight pro The scream1 was the worst mouse i have ever used it had scroll issues, slam click issues misaligned feet and so on. The other two were better but the build quality is even worse than on one of the cheap sharkoon mice. If you bought one u can be sure that after a while u will get scrollwheel issues. Only thing that speaks for them is the low weight everything else is shit but i will get back to the shape if the Glorious Odin comes out.

That phantom edition really looks amazing but those things are never ever available :/. I need a new mouse what u suggest. No steelseries
2019-01-13 11:01
If you want a light mouse and something like the phantom wait until the Glorious Odin comes out , which is maybe this month or next month , it is basically the same mouse cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0549/2681/arti.. It really depends on what you want and ergo or ambi shape

Thanks for the advice. Never heard about the brand tho.. good quality?

If you have problems with the mouse wheel I would not necessarily go for Logitech tbh. I had the G 403 which had a shit mouse wheel. I got smoke on wheel up and jump on wheel down but the mouse often just does the opposite or just jumps randomly. Super annoying. Then got the G703 and it's better but still not perfect Maybe they fixed the problem now but if you're going to buy the G703 just have in mind that it could randomly jump if you have jump on mouse wheel
