what if simple...
United States subzera
what if simple said the n word a bunch, like that one overwatch pro did. do you think navi would drop him? if navi was dumb enough to drop him, do you think any other teams would be dumb enough to not pick him up?

yeah i saw that, but still doesn't say his contract ends in 2019 like people would just buy him from the org or smth even though its gonna be expensive af

We don’t see a problem using that. We were all slaves no matter who we are. You hear naggers from black people all the time but when one white man say that... racism towards whites that what it is. So if someone from navi said that navi will make a video or post from this person where he will deeply sorry about what happened and thats all

That's quite a hard one to call, it depends on the context as well, because if it were in a joking manner, I don't think they'd kick him for that, however, if it was in a similar manner to that of Sadokist's moment, I'd say they would probably consider it. Moreover, I do think a team would pick him up despite that happening, as I said earlier, it's a hard one to call.

Partly, yes. Personally, I didn't find it as that big of an issue compared to others who think he should've lost his job permanently.

He is from NA that's why it's so bad... i mean someone from South Europe or East Europe or Asia saying the N word wouldn't be that powerful. That word don't even exist in our language, it was just NA word at the start. Plus I don't wanna sound bad but i think CIS people don't care about saying racist things If he says it in NaVI, no problem. If he said it in Liquid, touuuuuughhhh
2019-01-14 08:28
Possibly s1mple would be kicked. NaVi is an organization and should not stand for any of this. However, it depends on intention and context.

You got to be kidding me. Navi always was a big brand and they did not achieve more with s1mple than without him. NaVi was huge back in 1.6 and they succeded to transfer their success into CS:GO, being no. 1 team for a while. Simple joined them over 2 years ago and 2nd half of 2018 is the only part of his career in navi worth mentioning.
2019-01-14 08:03
But s1mple does bring a lot of fans like i havent seen an edward fan in awhile but i did not mean that navi wasnt an big brand before that
2019-01-14 08:46
Poland Este
S1mple brings s1mple fans, not NaVi fans. I doubt anyone would cry for navi if s1mple would go to faze clan for example. S1mple is not recognized as NaVi mark like GuardiaN was back in the day or pasha for vp or shroud for cloud9. People envy s1mple for his superb skillset not loyalty to navi. Harsh but true.

Pretty sure Beardward pistol god was pretty big in the CIS community.

Even if he did and got kicked, he's so good that an African team would still pick him up, it's ironic but true.

Thanks dude I got it :))) N-word may refer to: Nigger – Common euphemism for "nigger" or "nigga": viz., variant forms of a word referring negatively to African-American people

we didn't have colonies and especially in Africa so the n word is pretty common in Russia as it's scientific term denoting the race but it's known that you shouldn't use it in western society

Since EU, unlike US, doesn't have such a bad history with the word and a lot of us think it's ridiculous how all of you in the US have such a problem with the word to the point where you all just say "n-word" instead. Which, btw, makes no fucking sense either. We all know what you mean, yet somehow it isn't as bad? And how come black people can say it to each other? ThE N wOrD is just another reason for people to get upset, because their lives are so fucking boring. Oh and we're not just talking EU with s1mple. He lives in Eastern Europe where this exact sentiment is even more prevalent. So no, I don't think he'd get kicked. Probably a warning & a fine because otherwise people won't be satisfied. If people wouldn't get so mad over a word that would've been an word that nobody would ever use if nobody actually used it (black people do), then Na'Vi would probably only give him a warning.
