I work in the industry. Realistically you want to bring facts about where the company has come, what they do, and how it aligns with your aspirations. Say you want to be a millwright and this is a position where you do basic maintenance on the machine, but know there is an opportunity for growth within that organization. Mentioning how you want to grow/learn more and eventually get into a more advanced role within the company.
Example: In Canada unemployment is about 2-4% right now, so candidates are more picky where they want to work and companies are wanting to KEEP their employees. Show them you are there for the long run and they will invest.
