" in 10 years they builed a team to conquer in a bundesliga" eh....Red Bull aka a multimillion (even more lol, billion?) $ company owns the team, so no, they didnt build the team from "nothing", dont make it sound like they started with zero & built their economy in 10 years lol. Red Bull even renamed & redesigned the logo lol Also RB Leipzeig is the most hated club in Germany.
2019-01-16 18:13

?????? Obv teams got sponsors. But do you see Real Madrid / Bayern / Barcelona etc named as "Real Coca Cola Madrid" "Bayern Volkswagen Munchen" "Barcelona Citroën"? No you dont. Red Bull is not the "sponsor" of RB Salzburg & RB Leipzeig, they are the owners of the 2 teams. RB Salzburgs real name is SV Austria Salzburg, but then Red Bull bought the team & named it "RB Salzburg " & switched the whole logo out. RB Leipzeig is 100% created by Red Bull, it was not bought by Red Bull & renamed/new logo etc, it was Red Bull that started the team.

Sure, it's legal. But it has nothing to do with football culture. Usually teams are founded for sports, not for profit. The business comes in after. RB was founded for business and marketing purposes only. The company Red Bull isn't an investor or sponsor, it is the club. There are 4 or 5 teams that all look like each other. This is some weird shit - even worse than US leagues and its franchises. At least they have a salary cap and drafts, which keep the competition somewhat fair.
2019-01-16 18:44
well they are doing pretty well in a bundesliga so there is not a sports aspect? they wanted to have their own team and they made it, i dont see a reason to hate there

They are doing well. But they do not have the appeal of a club that was founded to play football (or sports in general) WITHOUT a big business background. RBL/S/NY/Brasil or Liefering (also belongs to the family and looks the same) therefore don't feel that relatable. But for plastic fans it's a good option.

Thank you Love you from Chemie Leipzig

Look at the tweet & pic. There is your rekt. RB Leipzig have not been a team for 10 years. Red Bull started the team in 2009. TL:DR RB Leipzig cant do the "10 year challenge" so Dortmund rekted them as a funny joke.
2019-01-16 18:42
But why hate? redbull wanted to make a team and they did it, doing pretty well in a bundesliga(#4 atm) so another good team in a league, where is the problem?

"But why hate?" Because Red Bull: 1. Bought up a club & renamed the whole club & removed the old logo for their own logo. 2. Created a team called "Red Bull" & created a Red Bull logo as logo. I wouldnt mind if Red Bull let the teams logo & name was kept like it was before. I wouldnt mind either if they just put their Red Bull logo on the chest of the teams jersey. But to name multiple clubs "RB" or "Red Bull" and use their shitty logo as logo is disgusting. Not long ago Hull Citys owner (Assem Allam from Egypt) wanted to change "Hull City AFC" to "Hull Tigers", the FA declined the name change tho, he tried to do it twice. And the owner got pissed of and threaten to sell the club if the fans/FA doesnt allow him to change the name...like wtf dude, Nice owner. Hull City AFCs supporters even sent a letter to FA thanking them for not allowing Assem Allam to change the name. EDIT: Yes hurray, RB created a team that is #4 in the league, which is great, but its the fact that they named the club "RB" & also picked their own garbage logo as logo for the team. Companies should stay away from teams/team logos & just focus on sponsoring the teams instead.
2019-01-16 19:01
Thats normal in volleyball. But i understand you and logo should defenitely not be changed. Name of the sponsor before club name could be allowed imo.
2019-01-16 19:09
no it shouldnt
2019-01-16 21:13
why?:'D
2019-01-16 21:38
why would it? I don't want some companies owning our football clubs.
2019-01-16 22:00
why? they made a good team
2019-01-16 22:01
because they should belong to the fans. In Germany, football clubs usually are a business owned by an e.V. (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Registered_associa.. Everybody can become a member of the e.V for a small fee (I pay 92€ a year) This way, fans have a say in the happenings of the club instead of some rich guy owning the club. This for example makes sure that ticket prices remain low so everybody can go to matches.
2019-01-16 22:04
your 92e/year doesnt change anything you know it? maybe some events like kids go for free or money for academy, every other thing is the same no matter who is the owner, in the club still work specialists, analytics, scouts and pro coaches, no matter if u pay your money or if someone other will give it, the things are the same and you have NOTHING to say what club is going to do, literally
2019-01-16 22:08
yeah, it's not like we can chose the board of our club.. Oh wait we can. And it's totally not like we can decide if parts of the club should be sold to investors or not.. Oh wait we can. Of course we can't decide who's on the pitch but we can decide how the club is run.. Fans don't like what the president is doing? Guess he can look for a new job then. It's the reason why ticket prices are so low in Germany and why Clubs can't just move like they do in England or the US.
2019-01-16 22:19
Also the reason why Bayern dominate so many years against shit teams? I guess you wasted your money if you aren't a bayern fan huh? literally a one team league for how many years now? Anyway doesn't matter you spend your money the way you want I guess you don't like to watch competitive football, I think the tickets are low price cause the league has like 1 good team and if they're not playing you're basically watching 2 shit tier teams play each other that would get fucking destroyed in any other top league.
2019-01-17 06:55
"Also the reason why Bayern dominate so many years against shit teams!" Or is it because Bayern is well run? It's not like Bayern has always been better than other clubs, they worked for their position they are in right now. "I guess you wasted your money if you aren't a bayern fan huh?" What? How? I'm wasting my money because the club I support isn't Bayern? I certainly don't feel like I'm wasting mine "Anyway doesn't matter you spend your money the way you want I guess you don't like to watch competitive football" Fucking plastic lmao. You don't support your club because they might challenge for the title, you support the club because you love it. The biggest achievement for my club in the last 25years was reaching the Euro League once, we're in divison 2 now, you better bet our stadium is still sold out. It's not about success, it's about loving your club. I'm definitely not wasting my money just because my club isn't playing for the title. "I think the tickets are low price cause the league has like 1 good team and if they're not playing you're basically watching 2 shit tier teams play each other that would get fucking destroyed in any other top league." That's the dumbest shit I've heard. It's totally not like german fans are protesting for low ticket prices (kein Zwanni für nen Steher") and other stuff all the time. Shitty german clubs btw have gone further in the CL in the last few years than English clubs have, can't be that shit. Please before you talk about German football inform yourself about it. You don't know anything.

Because its Red Bull that started the club. Imagine if Coca Cola created a club in EU/Iceland and named it "Reykjavik Coca Cola Football Club". That is basically what Red Bull have done with Leipzeig in Germany & Salzburg in Austria. You also have "New York Red Bulls" in USA. New York Red Bulls real name is "New York/New Jersey MetroStars" and was created back in 1996 before Red Bull bought the club / name. EDIT: here is a short text about RB Leipzig: RasenBallsport Leipzig e.V., commonly known as RB Leipzig, is a German association football club based in Leipzig, Saxony. The club was founded in 2009 by initiative of the company Red Bull GmbH—which purchased the playing rights of a fifth-tier side EDIT2: As you can see Red Bull also ruined club logos with their shitty logo: i.gyazo.com/248ae7f9b25e91ce800027ac61cb.. i.gyazo.com/86715f9eebf025d61453ac0ffc73.. i.gyazo.com/0c28a63ba1d301ab90fc01ae9a7d.. EDIT3: Also, if you respond with "But why is RB Leipzeig & RB Salzburg called RB?" I think its because of German & Austrian laws (German/Austrian please confirm) that they cant use company names in club logo/name so they were smart and said "Lets name it RB as in Rasenball Sport, even tho it means Red Bull". But they can use the logo of companies as we can see in all of the logos above as well as they named the clubs "RB" instead of Red Bull.

EDIT: Well now you edited your whole comment lol. Well ok, anyways, its disgusting that they allowed it to happen, i would be pissed as fuck if i was a fan of any of the teams tbh. I couldnt wear a shirt with a fucking Red Bull logo, a logo that they created & destroyed the old logo (Talking about Salzburg here) EDIT: I mean, this is Salzburgs old logo: i.gyazo.com/285fa7815c5c7979ca4788d7d8e5.. Which imo is a OK logo 5/10, now Red Bull ruined the whole club & created that shit logo that is a 0.5/10

I just added some info. :P Still <3 Malmo :D RB is Global Elite in finding legal loopholes. As for Salzburg, they actually only are sponsor, but everyone with a spark of common sense knows they practically own the club. It's also funny how they swap players between clubs and then talk about the sums they paid each other... :D

I know that Salzburg is not 100% owned by Red Bull. But they bought the club name, Arena name and all the other stuff around it lol. But Leipzig is 100% owned and created by Red Bull. "It's also funny how they swap players between clubs and then talk about the sums they paid each other... :D" yeah i know lol. I still find it disgusting when a football club gets renamed to a drink/food/cloth etc brand. I mean what will we see in the future in North America? Kentucky FC (if a club like that existed) get renamed & bought by KFC and named "Kentucky Fried Chicken FC"?
2019-01-16 19:05
well for leverkusen its allowed idk why tho maybe because the rule did not exist 30 years ago uerdingen was also called bayer uerdingen back in the 80s
2019-01-16 19:25
I think it's additionally because it has been a "Werksclub", a company club - Bayer 04 Leverkusen was once organized by workers for Bayer who formed a football team together with their coworkers, every player from Leverkusen used to work for Bayer

Imo Bayern should get Forsberg as Ribery replacement in the summer.
