You look at internet when they have 1100$ in groceries each month for 5 people + coach, lol. 3300$ in groceries for 3 months is insane.
2019-01-18 16:24
?????? thats really not much for 6 people

Yes it is, lol. 1100$ for 30 days of food is insanely much dude.
2019-01-18 16:25
For 6 people? it really isnt much tho Its $183 per person a month = $6 per person a day

183$ for regular food is pretty much. And obv when Bravado guys go to Walmart or whatever store they buy big packs of, idk toilet paper / cereal / food / *insert item here*. They could cut some of these costs tbh. I mean obv the players need to eat, but why do they rent a house that costs 3400$ a month lol. Thats one thing they could do, find a good but cheaper house to lease/rent.
2019-01-18 16:29
Its probably in a expensive location but location should be irrelevant for a gaming house imo

Well ofc. But, like i said(typed) to another guy, Bravado should relocate to EU, maybe Germany or Spain (Spain is super cheap), everything would be cheaper, tickets home, house rental, food etc etc if they moved to Spain. Anyways, i do hope Bravado can manage to get all the money, but the problem is....what will they do in 3 months? Start another gofundme? lol. This "gofundme" thing they are doing now is just an easy & small solution. They have bigger problems.
2019-01-18 16:46
3400 a month for a villa when you are begging for money seems kind of strange, but they have to be in a good location with fast internet which means inner city and housing is extremely expensive in america in cities. also its for 6 people which is more than most families so a regular sized house which can cost like 2k or more a month in some cities could be too small
2019-01-18 16:52
what food do you eat i pay like 250 for me alone in food
2019-01-18 16:27
+1 i pay over at least $500 for food every month

Normal food. But i buy good food/products at a good price i guess, and no, not at some low price shit store. I just shopped today for me & my family, cost me around 450$ (We are 3 + 1 cat & 2 dogs) But in about 3 weeks we need to buy some more for around 100-150$, so around 550-600$ in total each month. I mean it all depends on how you shop, if you shop smart & buy big-pack of stuff you can last long mate :)

So you are saying 1100 a month is high for 6 people, but you spend 550 on 3 people? That sounds logical....

"around", it depends if we really need something or just buy something "stupid". I could even remove 120-150$ from those 550-600$ And if you can use your education (if you even have one) and read again i stated that i have 2 dogs & 1 cat as well. And with 3 humans & 3 animals that need food etc we spend about 550-600$. So we are also 6 in this house lol. The thing is that Bravado could easily save money on food etc if they buy big-packs/bags of food etc.

Talking about education and then comparing animal food to human food lmao. You say you can do without the 120 to 150, but why would you move somewhere and have to live on ramen noodles to survive the last week of the month. How old are the 3 people in your household?

??????????? Do you know how much a big bag of dog food / cat food costs? Its basically 55-60+ $ a bag (About 5KG a bag) & the cat eats other food + "bag food". They are 53 & 54 + me. "but why would you move somewhere and have to live on ramen noodles to survive the last week of the month." Then WHY would they move to an expensive ass country & across the globe which means they need to buy hella expensive tickets home to South Africa? Could have moved to EU (Spain etc) and played good level CS + live pretty cheap & give the players a better salary & have a loooot cheaper tickets home. Which means their family could visit them in Spain as well.
2019-01-18 17:34
if you have some discipline and buy cheap nutritious products, brown bread with peanut butter, bananas, make 1 big pan of pasta bolognese and eat it for 3 days, and buy canned or freezedried vegetables, basically if you eat like a poor college student who has to spend every penny on something that will actually sustain him, you can easily stay at like 150 a month. coincidentally this is also pretty good for your health as long as you make sure you get enough vitamins and minerals, maybe buy some supplements.

It is lol. I know that they are 6 people, but eating for 1100$ is kinda much. They could cut some of those expenses tbh. If they want to keep their "NA dream" alive. I mean its up to them ofc.

we are 2, well now we are 3 but the baby doesn't really eat much yet, and we easily spend 5000 sek on food and that is not counting a lot of lunches out. Sure I don't buy a lot of big packs and tend to go for high quality things but I mostly cook myself.
2019-01-18 19:12
dude, that's actually quite much for 6 people

Yeah i know. It would also cut A LOT of expenses. Like tickets home would be cheaper & probably all the other stuff (food, internet, car etc etc would be cheaper) if they moved to...idk Germany, Spain or something like that. I mean, i really like Bravado as an org & the players a lot, i hope they manage to pull all the money together, but the problem is that the money they want right now will only help them for 3 months...what will happen after? They need to relocate to EU asap imo.
2019-01-18 16:43
if they cant reach 100k lans by eu qualification they should back to africa

Well yea they will have a thougher time in EU, against teams like vitality, g2, heroic etc that will compete in the same qualifiers
2019-01-18 16:53
Yeah why would anyone get behind and support those expenses unless they put up results or cant find an org that will back them because they arent that good Move to EU or... you know, be willing to get dirty to live your "dream". Those expenses are stupid even it being in USA.

But they are putting up results? I mean, they won over G2, OpTic, Rogue, LG etc. Sure these teams are obv not T1 material, but still. And yes, imo they should also move to EU, it would be cheaper.
2019-01-18 16:38
why do they need to fly back to africa?

Yeah. And instead of using the "ticket" money for food or whatever they use it for tickets home xd Dont ask me tbh, i am not the leader or economic person of Bravado ^^ I guess they go home for a few weeks each 3 months, not sure tho.
2019-01-18 16:51
if they want to save so badly, they could get like another month of living out of that money. it's confusing for me tbh

+ 1 , moreover - they could move to Poland or even Ukraine, have a pretty cheap conditions, good internet and number of high-level european teams around for practice. But they move to California instead... ridiculous.
2019-01-18 17:03
rent a apartment and cut some costs would let them live there for about 1 year with that money damn
2019-01-18 16:47
They completely skimp out on groceries but have $200 internet, $3400 rent (wtf?), water&electricity $850 (watt? I pay that in a year in Germany, a bit exaggerated).
2019-01-18 16:48
they live in a big house like mibr but they won 1/1000 of their prize earnings xd

$210 per month? I live in Chicago and spend $30 for 4G mobile plan (FreedomPop w/ unlimited talk and text and 5Gb data) and $50 once in 2 month for haircut. Also food expenses are ridiculous. Unless they live in Commiefornia and shop exclusively in Whole Foods and other hipster shops there is no excuse for so much $

??? 210$ is not much at all, its their salary lol? Haircut is like...idk 20-30$, phone is like 35-40$ & then if they want to buy some new clothes etc. Just imagine if you worked 12 hours a day and end up with 210$ a month as salary lol.

Why don't they move to EU? The cost of living is much cheaper and the competition is higher which forces you to step up your game. Just my 2 cents...

are they salaried? flying back to south africa for holidays/family should be paid by the players with their own salary if they are willing to go. why is the org paying that? also 3,4k USD of rent a month oooof
2019-01-18 16:56
stay in Africa then XDDDD
