improvement routine?
 |

I play dm and aim maps from workshop 2-3 hrs a day and i haven't seen improvements in my gameplay at all since 2-3 months, i can see that my gamesense and map awareness improved slightly. I'm inconsistent on DM, sometimes i do +50, sometimes -50, usually i leave dm at 1.00 kd. Anybody else in the same spot as me? How to get out of this slump?

+1 but it's true whenever I've felt good I've always performed good, regardless of my normal routine in the game. If there is nothing you see needing improvement irl, just get exercising or get into a routine or something and you will see how important the mental aspect is

i think its problem inside my gameplay, since i doubt boombl4 exercises

no I mean like your mental health and stuff, that's really where your "slump" comes from imo

its all bullshit you will never improve your gamesense by playing aimbotz n shit and dm, also dm causes tilt most of the times my advice - kill 500-1000 bots and jump straight into faceit pugs
2019-01-19 00:23
I've played faceit pugs too. I played some lvl 10 matches with decent guys in my team, so in enemy, i learned some things and received some tips from these games. I feel better playing versus better opponents than 1700 elo guys cuz i can predict them. Also by playing soloq i learned something for sure. It's not like i played only aim botz and dm.

ah and also you should try retake servers, helps alot while spending hours on training your aim just kills your passion for the game
2019-01-19 00:28
well yeah people bait eachother and dont communicate at these servers, its basically 1vX retakes

still better than getting killed from behind most of the time on dm what i wanted to say that there is a psychological aspect behind your problem. like after a couple of hours of intense warming up you just low key get sick of cs and lose all the urge to play

thats pretty good how about your individual performance?

1st match topfragged most of the time, finished with 23k, 2nd match highest adr ( about 90 ) with 19 kills altought it was very unlucky and frustrating match for me, at one point i had like 100 adr with 6 kills while my topfragger had 15 with like 105 lol

its still not worth to spend even 1.5 hour on dm and aim maps as none of those will actally help you during competitive games, 500-1000 bots is enough, trust me and as for gamesense and awareness improvement, watching your demos/ demos of pro players with playstyle similar to yours should help
2019-01-19 00:56
what about pros dming for hours? and even docc, he said that he dmed for 4 hours a day

+1
2019-01-19 00:46
its not 3 hours in a row, 3 hours is really the peak i can do and its very rare and i do that when i dont have anything else to do or i feel my aim is off, i train my aim for about 1.5 hour average everyday at many dm/ aim botz sessions
2019-01-19 00:48
All im saying is just dont make this an obsession for yourself its all about focus. ur aim is not off cuz u didnt play 2 hour dm. its off cuz u choose to believe it.relax
2019-01-19 00:59
maybe its true, i'll try warming up less and go more fresh into games
2019-01-19 01:01
dont need that much aim pracc, play some pugs find a team play scrims/league games.. Watch a demo of yours, watch a pro demo.
2019-01-19 00:59
forming team is hard, especially if im not at high elo atm
2019-01-19 01:08
True, just chill, play pugs, if you see some nice people add them and play with them. You'll slowly but surely improve.
