You shouldn’t blame him for leaving Astralis, I guess he still depressed because of it
2019-01-20 17:48

Ohh... didn’t know that. Hope now he understand that career is on the first place
2019-01-20 17:55
yeah, he is a man now, he learned a lot with that... it was too much pressure for him at the time, he seems ready now, I hope he is =P he matured a lot outside and inside the game
2019-01-20 17:56
Still, the way he handled it was very poor.
2019-01-20 17:53
of course =/ I guess he is just young and stupid, this is one of those things an older guy would deal easily, maybe he didnt know what to do and just left LOL

and without device they wouldn't even be in the final, use ur brain pleb
2019-01-20 18:00
so what? device played better, but kjaerbye played amazing the whoel tournment too, he was a key piece of that team on T side... and on final device disapeared for a while, and kjaerbye made them comeback alone nt """"pleb""""" now prepare yoself to watch some good level of cs, while the team you are fan of eat popcorn watching major stream
2019-01-20 18:06
Yeah he played well but I would've given it to device still, he was rock solid the whole tournament.
2019-01-20 17:56
yeah, but dude kjaerbye was out of control in the final, same for tarik in the major against choke clan when shit like that happens, dude, astralis woudnt win if he didnt went SO ham like that and last map of a final, getting shitted on, having the mindset to be a huge piece of a comeback, this is insane shit, I guess people underate shit like that and he played good the whole tournment, but this piece of the final to me makes him deserve a lot rewatch train and you'll see
2019-01-20 17:59
astralis wouldnt have even been in the final if devve hadnt been so solid the entire run, its the tournament mvp no the finals mvp were talking about here. I'm with you, we should recognize him for thrashing vp but let's not take away from another deserving player's accomplishments to do that
2019-01-20 18:02
if we go that path, device choked in the final a lot of times, and also every player played good at some point but when astralis was lost kjaerbye went ULTRA ham and made them come back dude, you are not remembering the final right, go and rewatch please he went way more ham than tarik against choke clan
2019-01-20 18:05
no one played as good as device did throughout the entire event so i don't know what point youre trying to make. I don't know how else to explain this to you, device played SIGNIFICANTLY better than kjaerbye over 13 maps. It's awesome that he popped off in the finals to secure the silverware, but device was an absolute workhorse for that team. I don't need to rewatch the finals, you need to understand how a tournament mvp should be awarded.
2019-01-20 18:10
dude cs is 5v5 all your argument has is "oh device had more rating in x maps eh eh" ok, so you are one of those guys that think if the guy has more rating he is better than the other, ignoring entry roles, support stuff, whos third contact, whos the trader etc kids like you see cs in a superficial way in the final, the most importante game of the tournment, device played worse, kjaerbye played as the best in the server. final has more wight than other shit, and is not like kjaerbye played bad the whole tournment, he did his role, helped the team to win while device was going ham, also device play third contact he is always last alive etc, he play same role as coldzera for example, you could use the same argument when fer got MVP for SK for example if you didnt watch the whole tournment stfu, dont bring me ratings ffs
2019-01-20 18:50
"kids like you see cs in a superficial way" you're projecting, dumbass. all you remember is one map he popped off and youre trying to tell me i see the game in a superficial way. If you can't look at a tournament holistically then we don't have much else to discuss.
2019-01-20 18:56
really? a final where the team is getting STOMPED S T O M P E D, last map of a major, where the guy u want to be the mvp is non existant, and this guy start going ULTRA HAM and gets your team back into the team this is irrelevant for u, but u dont see the game in a superficial way, well... ok! no need to have contender for mvp, just autimaticly give it to third contact/lurker players sk: coldzera astralis: device choke clan: niko etc nice logic!
2019-01-20 19:00
Again, tournament mvp not finals mvp but you're too braindead to understand. We should remember kajerbyes legendary performance in that set but the tournament was 13 maps. You're not in the finals without device, simple as that. Were just going to talk in circles now
2019-01-20 19:05
I agree, but my point is, kjaerbye was a key piece of that astralis, to get to the finals, if you are not the best player, but you are in the finals, while the other guy was the best, but choked in the final: the guy that disapeared in the finals should be the mvp if kjaerbye was trash the whole tournment and went ham ONLY in the final the way you say, appears that device alone got them to the finals, and kjaerbye was going -30 every series =P if kjaerbye played "normal" and device disapeared, and the team won that final as a whole, I'm ok with device mvp too but again, every mvp dupreeh or fer got should be out, and coldzera and device should win it, cuz as a whole, those guys will have better stats cuz of their roles.
2019-01-20 19:15
You're under the assumption that I'm basing this off of stats. Stats are an awesome tool to judge consistency certainly, but I watched the tournament too. In no way did I ever say that kjaerbye played badly, just that device played better throughout the entirety of the tournament. Putting so much weight into the final for what is a holistic award for the entire tournament is fundamentally an incorrect way to go about it.
2019-01-20 19:43
I see your point and I understand, but I think a final where the team was getting crushed, with device doing anything, the way kjaerbye went ham on many rounds and took astralis back was insane, but fair enough, just different perspectives
2019-01-20 20:13
wouldnt be surprised if hes severely depressed, which can weaken someones performance in every aspect of life… he literally made the worst decision any pro player has ever made :D probably hates himself
2019-01-20 17:50
his shakebye style aint cut it no more. unless he is going to unlearn that shit and do it properly he is doomed to play for teams like north or optic or some other danish side.
2019-01-20 17:51
I'd feel pretty shitty if the team I left behind to make more money became the greatest CS team ever assembled.
2019-01-20 17:55

2019-01-20 17:59
What are you basing this "Greatest CsGo team " on ? achievements in 2018 ?? Pretty sure there are many teams that have won a lot more than they have. How many years did Fnatic dominate ? Astralis pretty much owned 2018 but i wouldn't call them the Greatest CsGo team ever hahaha , thats just a load of bollocks
