Now I'm fully prepared to congratulate the team who wins this event and respect to whoever pulls it off, however what I'm not prepared to accept is that this event has given us a clear picture of the teams abilities. Every single one of them has been screwed over by this event. Time delays, although not 100% responsible do have an effect of a player weather that be fatigue or maybe it tilts someone to not play when they expect it. We can see from steels Twitter post that any team playing off stream was saddled with a lack of noise cancelling headphones or even a booth to play in. The entire event has been a shambles and in my opinion does not give us a fair evaluation of any team. So to whoever wins congratulations but for the fans I think we need to see the next event this year before we can get a clear image of team performance.

To be honest I did not expect much from faze for this tournament so I'm not too down on this result for them. Other teams are suffering from this awful event but respect to them for adapting to the situation better than perhaps faze did.

oh keep em' excuses coming fallen, poor adaptation suuuure

They weren’t ready for this event. It’s not 2012 anymore. This feels like an old tournament.

Let's call this a 2019 warmup tournament. Players cannot perform under these conditions, it's ridiculous

Completely agree. FaZe not streamed once, and also they literally played 2 maps against 2 teams. I just don't get it.

Not like anyone was expecting serious results from this anyway... With the major coming, of course for example FaZe can save their image if they place good in the major.
2019-01-20 23:53
Yep. I never expected a decent result from faze with a new member also with the other 4 having weak performance at the end of 2018 but I don't think this event has helped any team

It's so bad from a viewing perspective aswell one of the worst organised events i've seen. Bad audio, no production value, spammed with ads, very long chats about nonsense and lots of technical problems
2019-01-20 23:57
+1 mate. A horrible experience from all involved. I'm sure whoever wins the event will also agree it was a shambles

I was at the event and I heard YNK tell Niko that this tournament was a joke, and from what I saw many other players were not pleased with the ibuypower tournament.
2019-01-20 23:57
Yeah from tweets I have seen people are not happy. I urge the organisations to never accept an Invite to an ibp event anytime soon. If they have no teams that can't put on another shit event and screw the people such as yourself who have bought tickets

Funny thing is that some people I met were saying how they loved the other 2 events ibuypower events but how this one was the worst tournament they had been to.
