Astralis first real era

Belgium Chuckyyyyy
NiP : They were playing against people who just started playing the game, they had access to the beta while many people had to wait for the game to be released. GeT_RiGhT never lost level btw, he keeps playing the same way he used to. It's just that he's playing against people who actually can play the game now Fnatic : No real competition, CS:GO was only about having firepower in your team. No real strats, no tactics, just killing people. Try watching old fnatic games and you will see that the tactics are NOTHING compared to what it is now. LG/SK : No era. Astralis : Every team in the CS:GO scene are now structured and everyone is a potential upset, even teams that are not even top 20. Liquid, FaZe, Na'Vi, MiBR, so many teams tried to defeat Astralis, but no one really could. Never had so much level on CS:GO before. They created a new META and inspired teams to play their way. Astralis 2018 > Fnatic 2015 & early 2016 > NiP 2013

In my opinion I think they are all equal.

In what way was the non existant 'NiP era' better than the other three?
2019-01-22 01:42
87-0 is real. It’s not non existent.

So if I play a game for 1 year before it officially comes out and I destroy noobs trying to learn it this means is an archievement comparable to teams dominating with hard competetion?
2019-01-22 01:45
Who says they are noobs? Just because NiP was the best team by a long shot does not mean that the teams sucked.
2019-01-22 01:47
Lmao just watch old 2013 games from old teams. No one really knew how to play.
2019-01-22 01:48
The teams did suck though. 87-0 is amazing no matter who you’re playing. It’s not their fault they were better than everyone but idk if it qualifies as an era.

Why the NiP dominaters who were ahead by a long shot became irrelevant as soon as everyone became used to cs:go
2019-01-22 01:49
They are still relevant dude. #7 currently.
2019-01-22 01:51
REZ Lekr0 and F0rest are relevant, which mean 2 young guys and only 1 old NiP member

try to win 87 games without losing a single one. Good luck with that. Such a win strike isn't even found in other esports game. NIP made esports history with that. Deal with it or cry is free 4 u.

If I would play a beta with 4 friends 3 months before the game comes out I would win 100 games in a row

and NIP was the only clan on the planet that played the beta? The cry is free. it isn't NIPs fault if the other players have no clue how to play the game. And still, a win strike with such a number is heavy to reach. Because one bad day can end it quickly.

Astralis 2018 would 16-0 the old NiP line-up, i'm not even joking
2019-01-22 01:40
Better team does not mean better era.
2019-01-22 01:40
So... in your opinion : NiP playing against noobs = Astralis playing against well structured teams
2019-01-22 01:43
Playing against noobs?

Agree with NiP but fnatic played against better competition than astralis had to in 2018. SK had an era but it was the smallest out of the 3 we had so far. 1. fnatic 2. Astralis (if they keep dominating not long until #1) 3. LG/SK
2019-01-22 01:41
Astralis has been better than Fnatic.

-no back to back major (yet) -weak competition (liquid and 2 man army NaVi) Astralis will be ahead of them soon if they keep up their form but these two things make me prefer the fnatic era
2019-01-22 01:48
Astralis made the competition look like shit because they were too strong. The competition was great.

2015 EnVy, VP, NaVi, TSM and for the first part of the year NiP (3 teams whose core already won a major, TSM which is still 60% of current astralis, and NaVi which was as strong as 2018 NaVi) 2018 Liquid (a good team but 2 main stars still at the start of their career, also EliGe and nitr0 ruined by 2nd place mentality) NaVi (s1mple and elec hard carrying 3 bots just as GuardiaN and flamie did in NaVi 3 years ago) FaZe (olof afk for 6 months, rain playing like a shadow of himself, karrigan switches igl with NiKo) And youre trying to tell me fnatic had worse competition than astralis?
2019-01-22 01:56
I'll give you an answer tomorrow, too many things to talk about.
2019-01-22 02:04
And SK/Mibr being shit half of the year and the other half they took a 16-0 from astralis and had only 1 win and a close series

2018 I will not agree. 2018 was a year of many crises, transfers and changes. Astralis did not have these problems and they won easily. 2019 promises to be interesting
2019-01-22 01:44
And why do you think so many transfers happened ? Because they were all trying to beat Astralis.

they tried to improve their game. it is not easy to play with someone new. I do not like talking to people blindly staring at their favorite team

plz stop this fanboying. For me, Astralis hadn't reached an era. They had good months. But NIP with their WINSTRIKE is for sure an era no matter how the scene was. If you don't lose any game you have an era for sure. And fnatic? they run like a train. Pronax time best time in csgo. Best csgo to watch ever. Beside s1mple madness plays. Astralis? skip tournaments to perform better on others. Also, it was a few months when they won every tournament they attended ~lame
2019-01-22 01:58
- 10 tier 1 events won in 2018, 1 major included. - Device 8 MVPs ( Most MVP's in one year ). - Astralis 28-0 or smth like that on Nuke, against teams that are considered as good on Nuke. - First 16-0 in a Major ( and not against noobs ). - Created a new meta. - Dominating EVERY TEAM How can't you consider that an era

Because they skip tournaments. They have no win strike as NIP had And they didn't play as a train like in pronax time. Also the win time ended.
2019-01-22 02:02
What's the point of going to tier 3 tournaments except losing time to practice for real events and having a free irrelevant win? Skipping tournaments is the proof that Astralis is actually smarter than most teams. Even Zeus said that he's going to start skipping events like Astralis

skipping means to boost your stats. Like whole Astralis player do. Device top2 LUL with his individual skill he is maybe #5 but Astralis boost. Real era teams play such tournaments. Skipping tournaments proof Astralis are cowards. Zeus is 31 and he will retire in near future. So they will not have the chance to skip tournaments.

2015-16 was way more competitive and fnatic's plays were based on fantastic reads and mid-round calls, that's why you'd never feel comfortable against them even in 5v3, 4v2 etc. They won everything they could and got b2b majors. Dominating wasn't as easy as it is now yet they were capable of being so dominant that everyone hated them.
2019-01-22 02:16
I'll tell you the truth : Most of fnatic's reads were bad. Everything was hidden by the fact that they were dominating everyone individually. Except Envyus, TSM, Na'Vi and VP, i can't remember any other team who could actually win some events. Look at now : ENCE already won 2 events and are on their way, C9 won a fucking major and placed pretty good before Stewie decided to fuck it up, Liquid started playing amazing, MiBR were giving a hard time to Astralis at the end of the year, North managed to grab a victory, FaZe winning 2 events with stand-ins xD, etc... there's way more level than before
2019-01-22 02:24
comparing 2018 t1 to 2015 t1 lol. Look how close were actually the games between T1 teams, even TSM or VP, who usually weren't even title contenders put up amazing fights. T1 in 2018? Probably it was only Astralis because none team could just beat them on a daily basis. They just had no real competition. And let's be serious. Mentioning C9 and Ence? Come on.

I agree. Looks like 2019 might be more competitive however with Liquid finally breaking through and winning a big event. Not just a big event but one where they were in the finals versus Astralis. I think you might see both teams trade titles back and forth this year depending on what they attend and how the rivalry evolves with Stewie on the team.
2019-01-22 02:33
2015 fnatic with old gameplay style would fuck 2018 astralis.
