KATOWICE PREDICTIONS
 |
Australia AU_CS_LUL
- ENCE to either make top 8 or go out 2-3. - Astralis don't make the final. - Liquid go out in quarters - HR and BIG to keep Legends - NiP make legends - NaVi make finals, win if the opponent is not a Top 5 team. If NaVi win both Zeus and Edward retire.

This is the major now, one player isn't enough. The teams will soon learn to counter him and he won't be able to do shit cuz he never met tier1 teams before.

Talk if you want i don't care NBK , apEX legends , ALEX new role , new team , has to learn all tactics , all smokes , all flashes , he is the attack co-lead and ct co-lead you don't know how much he had and has to work , it's a long time project so at the minor they were not ready , the team is born 3 monthes ago and started from the bottom , now they're here and in 3 month they will be at the top i hope , they work hard as fuck on tactics cuz french teams were never tactical , only skills and cs basics. Now they want to be tactical AND skillful , it takes a lot of time and it can affect the skill of apex and alex that are helping NBK to his new role of IGL for the moment. They will work hard 1 month to be ready and break asses. Trust me.

I like Vitality but ALEX's performances so far were underwhelming and they throw rounds that any other top team would easily pick up. I don't see them getting far against tougher competition

The fact is that ALEX has prac 10 days before the minor with the entire team, he had to learn happy's position instead of positions he would be more confortable, now they have time to work on it and ALEX will be way more confortable and efficient than during the minor. I trust in that.

Tactically, sure, I got that. But his sprays and aim in general were so off in situations that mattered yet had absolutely nothing to do with his positioning, role, etc. As for them throwing away rounds that would've otherwise been secured by any other team, I remember them playing valiance on inferno, 5v3 eco players post-plant situation on B and they lose the round without any valiance players going down.

Vega got to the final of starseries and even challenged ence and they always step up even more at majors. Avangar has more firepower than vitality with rpk and Alex, and don't even talk about strats or cohesion. Vitality hasn't played a map against tier 1 teams, and it won't go well

What liquid to go out quarter. They are coming back after a win against Astralis, an opponent that they couldn't defeat last year on a bo3, an opponent that made them hit a mental slump. They are going to be coming in strong. They are going to crush all other teams and maybe face Astralis in flinals. My prediction is they are most likely to win this major. Liquid will be #1 this year

Any team with Stewie is too volatile to be consistently good. Liquid will win tournaments this year, but they won’t be top 1. I’m hoping this year will be like the first half of 2017, where anyone could win anything.

ENCE will 100% make champions stage. Of course I have hopes for NiP, but seeing how they can beat every team in the world and lose to every team in the world a full championship run seems unlikely. Lineup changes are needed before they can contend consistently

Astralis still the same (best team in cs) Liquid improved( still give ast slight advantage but as we seen already ast won’t be spanking liquid every time now) Navi (no changes so will depend on simple/elec to dominate every time which won’t be good enough vs liquid/ast) Faze(still new team. Niko is a superstar player not a igl) Mouz( idk should have been a easy minor will have to see more of them) Mibr(zews will help a lot especially for info on liquids play book. Taco will help a lot with liquids play book. But taco is trash MDL player fallen cold fer no longer top5 players mibr will just be a regular team)

Challengers: ENCE, Fnatic, NRG, NiP, G2, Vitality, AVANGAR, Cloud9 New Legends: Liquid, NaVi, Astralis, MIBR, Fnatic, NRG, NiP, BIG Quarterfinals: Liquid - NRG 2-1 NaVi - BIG 2-1 Astralis - Fnatic 2-1 MIBR - NiP 1-2 Semifinals: Liquid - NaVi 2-1 Astralis - NiP 1-2 Final: Liquid - NiP 2-0

Depending on how bracket ends up grand final will have any of the 3 of Astralis, Liquid and Na'Vi. Ence will make it to top 8 Faze will go down 0-2 again before they win anything. NRG and Ence will make it through challengers and potentially into top 8. Renegades will give me a brief moment of hope where they reach 2-2 in swiss and then choke hard against somebody they should easily beat.
