Brazil invented airplane
Brazil mibrbestteam Brazilian inventor Alberto Santos Dumont created the world's first airplane capable of a complete flight, including takeoff, stay in the air and landing, without the need for a launching ramp. Called 14 Bis, the plane also became known in French as 'Oiseau de Proie', which means 'Bird of Prey' At that time several inventors tried to create machines in which the man could fly and, at the same time, control its direction, instead of depending on the direction of the wind. It was Santos Dumont himself who achieved this achievement in 1901, with the first dirigible balloon in history. After that the challenge became more complicated: to invent a machine heavier than air, that could be controlled by a pilot and that took off and landed without the aid of any other equipment, among other criteria. The Airclub of France even offered a prize to the first person who could fly in such a machine in front of the public. And the winner was again the Brazilian Santos Dumont! His invention, the 14-Bis plane, flew in Paris for 60 meters at a height between 2 and 3 meters. But across the ocean, back in the United States, the Wright brothers said they had done more than that. The models created by the brothers brothers Wright did not meet one of the criteria of the Airclub of France, that was to take off and to land by its own. For the plane to take off, they needed a little help from the strong wind and equipment like rails and catapults. Already the 14-Bis of Dumont was the first airplane to take off and to land without the aid of equipment, using a system with two wheels. The Wright brothers may have created the first model airplane, but it was Santos Dumont that made the plane get off the ground alone.

Great Oiseau de Proie, yes he did it here. We also recognise Dumond as plane inventor. NA Brothers only created Angry Birds that can only """"fly"""" with a catapult lmao.

Wright brothers OMEGALUL nt catapult
2019-01-23 21:57
Those guys needed a push to fly a few meters form the ground! Santos Dumont had a real plane with real engine to fly over Eiffel tower in France! So those brothers were dip shit! Santos Dumont where the real deal!

Dumont couldn't even get pass 15 minutes lul Brazil plane

both are part, and are very important in the development of airplanes. both contributed. wright brothers showed a device heavier than air that could sustain fligth. one step further in the development. then came santos dummond, and showed a device that could fly with an engine and nothing else, no impulse needed.

Dumont's plane looks and sounds more like a ground-effect craft than an airplane. If it can't fly more than 260 meters, it can't attain an altitude above, ballpark guess, 30-50 meters while maintaining a stable, controllable flight. The Wright brother's flight required an assist to take off, but so do overloaded C-130s so...
