Hey guys I'm currently in Kazakhstan. After sometime I noticed that some dead pixels appeared on my monitor, today i saw some small flashes while playing, which resulted in more dead pixels... And then I noticed that my pc's power plug burned the power socket... Any USEFUL tips on how to fix dead pixels? My monitor is Asus VG248QE Thanks!

Kazakhstan will eat you alive, if you're not prepared.

burnt socket means power surges which means you need to buy a UPS, uninterruptable power supply, to buffer for the power supply of your monitor. your PC has a power supply that should be adequately able to regulate voltage but you might as well put that on the UPS as well if you get one. these things can cost like 1000-2500 euros for a small model so its probably cheaper to just move away from kazachstan to a country that has reliable power supply.

thanks! is there a way to fix the dead pixels? I am currently using some software (undead pixel) which creates a small blinking box which will apparently help to fix it

1 it is power surges. I live in KZ and never had problems with it. You are very lucky, i see 2 Contact Asus tech support, they have to help you 3 And what did a person from the UAE forget in Kazakhstan? I want to leave here, but you came here
