Leaving university?

So I am on my second year of Law and its being awful. I barely have friends where I study and whats more important, I am not enjoying it and I have failed some of my subjects. I literally have no energy to keep on going, I really just wnt to end it all. So I ve been thinking in leaving my degree and start studying something related to tourism and learn some more languages, so I can work maybe in an Hotel in some years. The problem is I am scared cause IDK If I will be able to get a well paid job. So afterall, If even If I leave or not my degree I will have to study 2 more years. Should I keep on studying Law or simply leave it and start a different thing on september?

Topics are hidden when running Sport mode.
you can always start your own company and get well paid. if you know what you are doing, then it should not be a problem.

Too complicated

well, if you wanna be a hotshot lawyer, then it will take time. you most likely will spend the first 5 years doing basic stuff with little to no free time. the company thing i mentioned is just a backup; if you start studying lets say tourism, then you have good opportunities to succeed in that field too.

You should start something different. Don't waste your time with something what makes you not happy.
2019-01-26 20:55
+1 and don't go for a job just bc it's getting paid well... go for something that makes you happy and you can say you're glad to wake up everyday to work there

everyone's different I guess. To me it's just fundamentally wrong to leave a job you like to get a job that pays more (but you dislike) just so you have money to go on vacation to get away from that job. If that made any sense xD
2019-01-26 21:24
I see your logic but people get older and nurses either will never acquire real estate and be able to afford kids or they marry some douchebag buisiness man so they can finally afford these essential things for a good life and stay in the job they love

u probably wont get paid good, u will end up as hotel receptionist. u are not enjoying it because u have not socialized with other students, and prolly because you play too much games and study too little so u fail classes. Like all u need to do in 2nd year law studies is just open the damn book, only 100iq required

Then you should definitely leave it and change subject to something else. I did the same thing when i was 22 years old, and everything went completly fine. Tbh no point of studying you're not enjoying, its rly fucking painfull. Try getting a job, and study untill u get into a new school to study what u want. No big deal, ur still rly young so

Don't chase the money, it's better to have a job you at least can somewhat relate to than have a well-paying job that you absolutely hate.

University is a scam, degrees are worthless. Get out asap

I'm studying informatics and networks and I'm in a similar state, except that I have made a lot of friends and met fun people to have a talk with but not necessarily enjoying this course and I feel like at some point I won't be able to move forward, but at the moment I'm still on the run for it, hope I can make something out of this and not end up fucking up my future

I advise you to end your law's degree. And then switch for something you like more. Every field of society have degree mixed with law. Consider continuing your degree in another univ next year in order to solve your social issue. Being graduated with a +3 years law degree myself, I feel your boredom. Assuming your system is like french one, in 3rd year you can chose a specialized last year in a field you enjoy more if this become unsustainable. Turism studies/language studies don't give nearly as much opportunities as law does.

Well I chose Law cause in my university I have the opportunity to go abroad, and I think its the only think I wanted. I didnt chose it cause I liked it, simply to get a good job and thats all.

If you continue, you will hate your job your whole life
2019-01-26 21:17
Start something new. Dont waste it on something that could end in failure.
