thank for advice. bought it, installed it, tested it: userbenchmark.com/UserRun/14244715 nice. i like. didnt even have to reinstall windows lol.
2019-01-29 20:27
nice i've this userbenchmark.com/UserRun/14250384 but idk why my graphics is lower than yours since i've a gtx 1080 as well, do you overclock it? edit: it's not exactly the same i've a asus strix 1080 advanced, and you armor 8gb oc
2019-01-30 00:10
lol every component the same except cpu :D but its strange yes with gtx ... yours is even running way higher clock speeds. maybe its bec. of my cpu? its newer, maybe bec. of that the GTX get used better? or maybe my z390 use the gtx better. but i dont know really. who cares tho, both beast systems that run every game available easily on ultra. ;-) we will not have to worry about hardware for quite some time ... :-)

I don't think the price difference between ddr4-2666 and 3000 is that big, and worth the upgrade
2019-01-29 11:58
for the processor it says 2666 is the ram ... will this work without issue? motherboard could take the following: 2133, 2400, 2666, 2800, 3000, 3200, 3300, 3333, 3400, 3466, 3600, 3733, 3866, 4000, 4133, 4200, 4266, 4300, 4400 MHz so which one would be best for gaming and will work the the cpu? i dont care if its 50 € more or less as long as its working really good.

Any speed of ram will work. For gaming it is virtually the same - the GPU's memory is used instead. Just get the cheapest, unless you're hosting some sort of massive server or something. howtogeek.com/303455/how-does-ram-speed-..

ofc 2666 will work fine, that's what I have, but in some games the 3000+ will give an extra boost, I'm looking for an ram upgrade myself

it really won't mate, faster speed RAM will only make a difference with an integrated GPU or if you're building a massive server.

I´ve personally experienced a fps boost though? Check some yt vids, will tell u the same. But im no expert... probably not gonna make a real difference in csgo though

It'll tell you you'll get about a 1-2% increase for like 50 euros e.g. youtu.be/D_Yt4vSZKVk?t=327 @5:25

again, it depends about the game, but if its 50 euros difference, its not worth it..thats true

The main difference are synthetics which aren't really representative, yeah. Would probably go for higher if it's only ~5 euros Also lmao at RAM prices, I bought my 16GB of RAM for £25 two years ago hahahaha

Upgrade? what CPU and motherboard are you upgrading from though?
2019-01-29 11:58
currently on 1150 i5 4670k with ddr3 1600
2019-01-29 12:03
That's a horrible ram, get any 3000mhz cl14 instead Also if you plan to overclock that power supply wont be enough. If you can wait, ryzen 2 7nm is comming soon and will wipe the floor with current intel offerings and for the lower price. Can't wait to upgrade my i7 7700 to 8 core ryzen 2
2019-01-29 11:58

2019-01-29 12:07
how about these? CORSAIR Vengeance LPX DIMM Kit 16GB, DDR4-3000, CL15
2019-01-29 12:08
Yeah that should be fine, for CL14 3000MHz you usually need B Die ram which costs a lot more and the difference is minimal if you are not overclocking it.
2019-01-29 12:17
no difference
2019-01-29 12:10
Get slightly faster RAM. 3000 is the optimal from a price / performance standpoint. Over 3000 you get diminishing returns.
2019-01-29 12:15
Hey mate, will do the same soon enough. I have a 1080 like you but it is bottleneck by my I5 6500. Happy for u that it works !
2019-01-29 20:45
CORSAIR Vengeance LPX DIMM Kit 16GB, DDR4-3000, CL15 This is best one if you gonna go with 16GBx1 and buy it twice for 32GB ram. Gets 2933 mhz stable no problems. Full speed
2019-01-29 20:56
there is no such thing as "best" for running a single stick of ram in a dual channel setup. Its 100% stupid regardless of the speed or brand. 2 x 8 GB or 4x4 gb if you really need to, but 1 x 16 is such a waste of time and money.
2019-01-29 21:00
Do you really think Ryzen 5 2600 for example runs 2933 mhz stable with 8GBx4? Nah man if going 32GB the best thing is 16GBx2. Dual is the best for Ryzen I think you just understood wrong or I said it badly I was talking about 32GB not 16GB. For 16GB getting 8GBx2 is the best. Dual stick is mandatory, single stick gets like 15-30 fps less in games
2019-01-29 21:27
"This is best one if you gonna go with 16GBx1" means a single stick of 16gb ram. Putting "and buy it twice for 32GB ram" suggests he can purchase another at a later date, not that he needs to get 2 of them ( which is required in a dual channel configuration ) at one time, in a single purchase. So either you're brain dead because because you can't form proper English sentences, or you're brain dead when it comes to ram and are backtracking having now been called out, i'll let you decide which.
2019-01-30 00:25
"This is best one if you gonna go with 16GBx1 and buy it twice for 32GB ram" Buy it twice for 32GB ram. You missed half of my sentence.
2019-01-30 09:21
it doesn't make sense as a sentence, as is illustrated in the second sentence of my post you legit downs syndrome carrier. A proper sentence, that would have also given him the needed information would have looked something like this.. " You need to buy the ram in matching pairs, either as 8GBx2 or 16GBx2."
2019-01-30 16:41
However with most today's CPUs if you gonna go for only 16GB then go with 8GBx2 3200 mhz. But 16GB is for suckers in 2019, 32GB is the way to go
2019-01-29 20:58
Is your mother your fathers older sister or is your father your mothers older sibling ? There is no other plausible excuse for you being this fucking terrible with the English language while rocking an American flag on HLTV. "However with most today's CPUs.." what the fuck ? not only are you missing an "of" after "most", but the use of "most" is suspect to begin with( not to mention the missing comma after however) . Jesus Lepper Christ.
2019-01-30 00:29
No need to act rejected and insult me just because your dyslexia missed half of my sentence
2019-01-30 09:23
Rejected? Did you pull out the Thesaurus and swing for the fences on that one? Either way, you failed miserably as the definition for rejected makes its use in that sentence incredibly confusing. I feel like you're a banana farmer from northern inbred Brazil using google translate...
2019-01-30 16:43
why would you get 2666mhz ram? 3200mhz is like 8-10$ more and has been stable for years on intel chips. turning on the XMP profile takes less than 10 seconds.
2019-01-29 21:01
And how many fps do u have with this config? pls Is it possible to take ram from an old pc and put it on the new pc ?
