You are really dumb then, i3 8100 has a clock speed of 3,6ghz and a 4,0 ghz r5 2600 > i3 8100 even in cs and literally every other case, cause of 6 cores and 12 threads .

He says CSGO benefits from higher clock speeds, while that thrash i3 8100 has a base clock of 3,6ghz and no boost clock, while a r5 2600 can easily be overclocked to atleast 4ghz has 2 more cores and multithreading enabled.

Damn those prices are way too high for this build, i would say its good enough for csgo but pretty weak for everything else...Get an i5 9600k at least..

i3 8100 is 4 cores and 3.6ghz so better than most i5 6th and 7th gens
much better value for a little bit more money.
i have the CPU in my 2nd pc and i can run csgo with average 250fps with a slight overclock.
1.) CPU, i3 8350k is probably the best valued cpu for csgo, unlike the 8100 it have a unlocked multiplier and its future proof with much room for overclocking.
2.) Mainboard. Z390 future proof and with good overclocking features.
3.) Ram. Overclocked 3200Mhz Ram for better Gaming Performance
4.) GPU. I would take any AMD over Nvidia any day. Nvidia only makes sense to me if you wanna play in 4k and need the best GPUs for 60fps. RX 570 will run any game in 1080p and also has better value if you wanna buy a 240hz or 144hz monitor because freesync monitors are 200$ cheaper than gsync.
5.) M2 over SSD. Speed for less Capacity.
6.) PSU. 450W is enough, even for a overclocked i3 8350k theres plenty of room.
Its just 100$ more.
But will give you better overall performance and room for overclocking and also adding better components in the future. You should run a 144hz monitor just fine and should stay over 200fps all the time.
