The rare few times I went shopping to lidl I always felt bad for the employees. Like they have to do everything so fast it's even stressful for the customers. Also French people have a bad opinion about lidl management methods and product quality because of a huge documentary made on national public t.v. where you could see that backstage it's a really evil company who don't care at all about the laws and basic human dignity. Since then I decided to avoid giving them any cent.

yeah but if you need money you sometimes have to swallow your pride

No its not. Have a try but keep the head out of the water because it's pure modern slavery. They will put a really strong pressure on you for miserable wage. So try to see it by yourself but I guess you'll quit soon if you're not too indoctrinated

If you need money and you have a job available to you, my advice is to obviously take it. You make a monthly income, get some work experience, basic human interaction and how to treat strangers in a work environment, as well as basic training and understand of supermarket labour.

Not a problem. If you want to be more active and have an opportunity to work, which most people do not have, then by all means jump at the opportunity. You are in control all of the time, so you can choose to quit as your own leisure or continue to labour away if you find you enjoy shop-keeping. :) If it's a temp-job, simply state so at the work interview and be open to others opportunities via a well-kept curriculum vitae, which now has "supermarket experience/manager" next to it.

Was just double checking. Well, very bad wage but is it your first job? You can at least take it and try it just to get some experience and quit after a while if it feels like it's not worth it.

that seems pretty bad...
2019-02-05 01:11
What I meant is that the minimum wage is more than what he said he would get paid.
2019-02-05 01:13
oh ok, my bad
2019-02-05 01:18

If you literally can't find any other job, go for it. Only for the fact that you aren't paying rent/bills. But €380? That's not even the minimum wage, it's 2080RON (~~€437). Also, if it's too shitty you have the 90 day probation period where you can leave whenever you want, without having to give the notice period to the employer. Although if you can find something else I'd recommend it, don't know how people survive in this country with minimum wage.
