Vitality @ Major
France Chylvain
If you wanna bet on a team to surprised anyone at the next major it will be Votality ? Why ? - Last resultats are great (even if it's not vs T1 teams their teamwork is looking not bad) - Zywoo = xypn9x = clutch master - XTQZZZ & Zuper as coach : they where both commentator and analyst from ESL and got recruited for V. XTQZZZZ is famous to be 200 IQ for games analyst. - They recruited a small youtubeur / commentar : WIPR : this guys is literrally 400 IQ in game analyst. If you can speak french I recommand you to watch is channel : youtube.com/channel/UCF9oGfFKmmUw7WmSjKy.. He said on his last video he is watching 16 hours / day demo from other team. This guy is very calm & smart. I am sure he will be a T1 analyst for V. That's why I think that V can go far in the next major (maybe not winning), they don't have the top firepower, but if they work hard their tactics + have confidence in theyr coach, they will go far. Thoughts ?

Surely they got good potential I think, however others but zywoo must step up their game from minor cuz way they looked in minor I think fluke they even got out, I was extremely unimpressed by their performance tbh xdd...

+1 for the step up. But they are completely aware of that, NBK said in an interview exactly the same, that they will not be in Zywoo's bag forever and they need to all step up if they want to be a t1 team. They have the potential I think... I hope

They were with only 10days of pracc with ALEX at this time, he had to adapt to happy's role instead of focus on his integration in the team, that's why they have been shaky in the Minor but we've see some good stuff in the lock'n'load tournament and they didn't gave any chance to their opponents.
2019-02-05 11:08
Zywoo is the main star, ALEX once he gets settled a bit more he could be another star, the oldies though, they need to be more consistent although they do shine sometimes

Yeah their minor wasn't the best but they played an interesting WePlay tournament. I think if they keep their level from this weekend on to the major they can aim at a top 8.
2019-02-05 20:47
IF Zywoo is on fire, then they should be going to the new legends stage pretty easily. Would bet for them to qualify and go 3 -0 / 3- 1
2019-02-05 09:59
It's also the problem of this team, if zywoo is on a bad day im not sure V can go far.
2019-02-05 10:11
Zywoo had the lowest ADR of the final this weekend. They still won HR 2-0
2019-02-05 10:12
Online games don't count
2019-02-05 10:22
Vitality have 3 experienced players, offline events should not be a big deal for them
2019-02-05 10:36
In minor zywoo only good one, others 1.00 rating or worse lol... Now ofc maybe they can be better in major but I think it is fair argument to make that there is chance zywoo is the winning condition they have xdd
2019-02-05 10:54
Even if the biggest factor is zywoo, vitality can win even if zywoo underperform
2019-02-05 10:58
well in minor they surely would have not won tho, zywoo was one who dragged them over the finish line just barely...
2019-02-05 11:00
Yeah minor was trash haha, so close. But i think they will perform well at the major (according to their recent form at the last tournament), we will see :D
2019-02-05 11:01
Might be a good major for them
2019-02-05 10:02
Vitality is the most promising new comer. I think can compete tier 1 teams easily
2019-02-05 10:23
+1 because they don't have 5 stars players like "french superteam" tried to do. They understand teamwork is more important. That's why V > LDLC > G2 right now. rip kennys & shox carrier.

-100000000000 G2>.............>LDLC Current LDLC is super bad. And btw, G2 are working very hard and I'm pretty sure they will be surprisingly good.
2019-02-05 10:40
Not sure. Lucky & Jackzz have no experience on major. malek @ coah is a bad idea (no more new tactics) while V is taking young and talented coach & analyst.

G2 worked at least as hard as vitality lately, and mostly on team work too. Allready looked promising at the end of last year so if the rumor is true and they really bleed the game for 11-12 hours the day since the beginning ofnrhe year, it’s should be enough to top 8 at major’too. Remember last time they worked a little more than usual, it was Boston and they cruised to quaterfinal and could have even semi if it wasn’t against C9 playing out of their minds. If the hard work is true, which we will see fast, my hopes and expectations are for both vitality and G2 to reach legend stage
2019-02-05 11:43
Exactly, good teamwork is what makes you win (Astralis is a good example). We will see this Vitality team in the top 5, mark my words!

G2 = Vitality. What do you think they did past 3 monthes
2019-02-05 11:27
G2 afk and trying ot make stats in a bunker while V doing lan / online events and taking some experience for the next major.

What experience do you get playing online against T3 trash ? Experience wise for the major, it’s better to pracc against qualified teams, even if they hide strats.

Communication, positionning, needed this to get Alex confident, etc. Vitality need to go through a challenger stage really similar to the event they participated. But you prabably know better how it works at top level

It's not that i know better. Every top team often stops playing even tournaments before major to concentrate on bootcamps and practice games. And playing against the teams they played, it's not as good practice as it's teams they allready beat. You don't have to play with the same concentration and rigor when you're not highly challenged by opposition. And that's true in any sports or esports. And every aspect of the game you mention, you can work on it as good in practice games than in online tournaments.
2019-02-05 13:18
Imo winning against T2 / T3 on lan is better than winning vs T1 on pracc who play 50% their levels and hide strats.

Thats your ipinion, I respect it. But seems that pro disagree considering that they do the opposite. + when you’re preparing with practices, you have time to speak about the game, the strategy, watch more demos, etc, all you can’t do while preparing tournament. + bootcamp

Compete with Astralis, Na`Vi, Liquid, FaZe? Sorry, but at this point I think they are going to be trashed by any t1 team. However, they are indeed solid t2 material atm, with potential to grow as they need more time to play, and let ZywOo get used to LANs.

I think that they can upset any team by surprising them atm. All the team you mentioned are well knowed and they can be anti-strated as fuck. Vitality didn't show all they can do and the team don't know yet all to play against them. They also got a good fire-power since ALEX went into the team.
2019-02-05 11:19
Great point. However, those t1 teams didn't really show anything lately. There was huge gap since last big tourneys, and they could have prepared a lot of new stuff too.

France PowwneD
Could be, but in term of skill, they have show some good stuff and they can adapt very well to the oppenent team with these staff. They have a Manager (Zuperrr) a Coach (XTQZZZ) and an dedicated analyst (WiPR) but they all have a great understanding of the game. They can really be a great team in the futur and potential top 5 in the next year. Also ZywOo could pretend to the top 3 players if he is consistent through all year

The problem with Vitality is all their firepower flows from Zywoo and he hasn't really played anyone yet. What should worry you if you are a fan is NBK and Apex aren't playing like top 20 players even while they are on this heater of a run against lesser teams.
