Bing in 2019? Expected from a 50 year old boomer
2019-02-05 19:07
google = (((globalist))) approved search results only. only people who want their searches to be recorded and curated by (((google personalised algorithms))) use that. great firewall of the USA = (((american big tech))).

Are you dumb? Same thing can be said about Bing... BING = Micro$oft in case you didn't know. You act like Microsoft is any better bahahahah DuckDuckGo is a viable choice if you somewhat care about your privacy.
2019-02-05 19:16
it's not just privacy. google removes search entries and reorders the results you get. based on what (((they))) want you to see. it has the most amount of crawlers though. so you can't avoid using it completely if you want the most complete search. bing is the same as google, but the censorship is not as strong.

Bing does exactly the same thing, holy shit you're delusional... you act like Microsoft is any better, the third biggest tech company in the states, they are known for continuous privacy violations trough out the years as a tech giant. You act like Microsoft/Bing doesn't recorded and curated your searches bahahaha, cmon give me a break dude lmao
2019-02-05 19:25
they all do, but you have to use them otherwise you get shit results like with duckduckgo.

Bro stop talking out of your ass, you clearly don't know shit. DDG dosn't index shit from google, all the search results come from multiple sources like Wikipedia, and other search engines like Bing, Yahoo!, and Yandex.
2019-02-05 19:29
you mean it's a metasearch? that's fine, but the results it shows are rubbish. if you search a string then it comes back with a load of irrelevant things.
2019-02-05 19:30
market share of search engines in 2019 broken down by percentage: Google 92.86% bing 2.41% Yahoo! 1.82% keep supporting that monopoly btw. anything > google.

Is there a dark mode on Opera? And dose the in built add blocker block twitch ads?
2019-02-05 14:52
yeah , has both . but i would grab an ublock origins for extensions
2019-02-05 14:53
Cool cool.. Is it easy to mute tabs?
2019-02-05 14:54
very easy click on the tab , theres a little volume symbol
2019-02-05 14:56
Nice.. Using Chrome rn, but they fucking removed the easy option to mute tabs and i fucking hate it so much. And i dislike Google in general
2019-02-05 14:56
was it the same ? you just click on the left side of the tab and it mutes
2019-02-05 14:57
Yes it was. But now i have to right click on the fan, and use a dropdown menu to mute it... Idk why they thought adding a extra click would be a good idea...
2019-02-05 15:01
used to use opera until i got some malware where every page had a fuckton of ads on it for some reason, couldnt get it fixed so i just started to use chrome and fry my rams

Opera, based on Chromium which is good but takes less memory than chrome and crashes rarely, has built in decent adblock and deleted telemetry from Google, also things like messenger sidebar are fun.

"deleted telemetry from Google" but added telemetry to a random server in china, n1 axaxa

you can't delete google's telemetry if the browser was built on chromium. also #43

Trees can plant themselves..
2019-02-05 19:08
We humans are cutting down forests so quickly that in around 100 years there may not be anymore rainforests. And that's with taking people planting trees into account. Imagine if we stopped planting them.
